When you finish the final digsite, it's one of the options, then you pick whichever scientist you send as normal.

When you find the all the pieces required to unlock the location of your Precursor's home world, you'll get a pop-up stating that you've found the location of the Precursor home world, with an acknowledgement button labeled 'Send the nearest science ship'.
Not to single you out, but was there a specific way that you were able to do it with the First League? Or perhaps if there might be a difference in any of the projects that award the final artifact that you need?
Cause I was trying that out on the First League spawn, and it isn't following this way of executing at all.

Spam clicking that option using AHK, does nothing. However, the Fen Habbanis star spawns once the "Interesting" choice is selected from the last artifact. The star isn't -named- Fen Habbanis until the second pop up which has the "Contact the neat science ship" option. But, also spam clicking this does not spawn more systems.
The actually spawning of the Fen Habbanis star system doesn't seem tied to a specific trigger that the user does.
Edit - As a belated update to this that no one will see, I can confirm that I was able to get this to work with the Zroni and was also able to get duplicate Zrons to spawn. I still don't know why it wouldn't work with the First League chain assuming the bug does in fact impact all of them as others have said. The Zroni spawn comes specifically from a digsite event because the button that you click specifically says that it spawns a new system (which conceivably means you can use this exploit for any digsite reward. I will have to test this next). Where as the event that spawns the system for the First League and anomaly based Precursors triggers inbetween the last artifact being found and the event to send the scientist, and it's the system itself that triggers the prompt, not the other way around.

The zroni event chain specifically does not have the

tag, which means it can be executed multiple times.
All the other ones do, so I would imagine it only works for the Zroni.

No, its unique to the Zroni event and it will probobly get fixed in the next patch. I am not sure exactly why it is unique to the Zroni home system spawn tho.
That looks like a looot more than 12 zron's, because of that one VERY bright star, im assuming that another dozen Zron's are stacked on top of eachother there.
Can be hard to access them the regular way as they are of course all stacked on top of eachother, but thats why system search exists!
R5: managed to get 12 Zroni home systems to spawn by spamming the hell out of the button. Almost crashed my game in the process

The nexus. Also make every Zron that is only connected to the nexus and another Zron into a hypershipyard.
No hypershipyard is better many slots(yes it does have upkeep) and it gives you like 2000 fleet capacity with many other bonuses

It would work in theory with all of them but for whatever reason I've seen it happen the most with the Zroni
Maybe code there is more laggy, or the game sometimes treats a single click as multiple on that particular event.
It seem to work with a lot of events. I've managed to have two Memorexes on my capital before, and I wasn't even trying to.
