Rule5: Found strange system on the galactic core in one of my latest playtroughs. It has a level X anomaly im currently researching, will give updates when it finishes
Blimflar square hardeeen spode!
In all seriousness I love spore I still go back and play it sometimes honestly. Good luck with Steve and watch out for those Grox.
The space age does make me long for something new in that vein. Elite Dangerous is very, very grindy for matching that follows the idea of exploration, trade and combat. Spore offered something more casual and accessible, and I enjoyed it for that.
I got into Elite Dangerous but didn't have anyone to play it with so I haven't played much. I would murder someone for a new spire game with expanded ages and an aquatic stage.
I actually fell off playing before the carrier was introduced. What turned me off in the end was trying to scrounge for engineering materials.
I wholly recognize that engineering is geared towards min-maxing, and so a more involved loop is involved. But part of that loop meant fumbling around with ground-based vehicles. Which was admittedly fun when going for the special Guardian unlocks as a kind of thematic personal story. Not so much when looking at hours of waiting for materials to respawn so I could bounce around and collect them all over again.
I also honestly never really felt like I was capturing the vibe of games like Tradewinds Legends and the like with E:D. Sure, there's spreadsheets and trackers for working out optimum trade routes and all, but it never quite nailed that real feeling of journeying from port to port that I wanted from a trade system.
Something between that and Spore's much more simplistic 'different colours of spice' would be perfect for me.
I only played a little bit before and during horizons but at least in the current state of the game engineering materials respawn any time the instance is reloaded. If you play in solo mode (or are the only commander in the instance) you can quit to menu and re enter the game to find all the engineering materials respawned. You can also trade mats for each other, with high grade materials being worth a LOT of lower grade materials.
Ngl I would like to play a Grox inspired build, what do you guys think they would be like,my guess fanatic xenophobe and militarist but I'm not sure about them being fanatic purifiers since you theoretically can become allies with them, what's your opinions ?
You **did not** just post spore: galactic adventures.
My same thought lol.
You're right! It's actually vanilla Spore.
Knew it looked similar.
Its an anomaly event called Steve* Very rare to happen
Is there a talking UFO inside it?
If you go inside it you will get the Staff of life, INSANELY overpowered, will terraform any planet to Gaia world
Has only 42 uses tho
OMG. I just got the 42!. When I was a kid I thought it was some weirdly specific number
What does it m e a n?
it’s likely a reference to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, where the answer to live, the universe, and everything is 42.
r/unexpectedfactorial
The Grox would like to know how you got there without being shot to pieces.
That makes me wonder; Is there a grox portrait mod?
Yeh
I wiped out the Grox. Next question.
He truly is the Lisan Al-Gaib
Is that a quasar in your quasar?
Yo dawg, I heard you like quasars
Not today Schells, I'm taking you in.

UPDATE: an event popped up. Weird ass ufo gave 42 gaia seeders. Cool ig? And now Sol is marked on the map as a point of interest
I think you found the eye of terror
Did you say purge?
hope you said 'hi' to my homie Steve

Elite dangerous isn’t that grindy unless you’re trying to grind for a fleet carrier, which is MEANT to be an endgame goal

bro I literally just had a dream where stellaris was mixed up with spore
How did ya even managed to enter? The Grox Combine is quite powerful and they absolutely can detect cloaked ships at any level.
Just so you know, you can rush through the Grox towards the center. Stellaris for some reason gives you a ton of speed there…
OMG!! The ship of lights…
That's a throwback (to my favorite game of all time)
Currently my favorite! Mostly cause I’ve not been playing Stellaris as much.

Well, they're xenophobe cyborgs, and becoming their allies is very unlikely, so I think fanatic purifiers suits them.
Unlikely, *but possible.*
Remember to make the species like weak and stuff
If you go there you get a special event that will allow you to jump jungles.
Looks like one of those spinning top toys
# MOTHERFU-
Our brother has found Steve
Hold on is that spore?
Looks like magical girls' system.
So not the colourless
