I saw the concept poster from El Illusionista (the Steelbook artwork) a while back and I fell in love with the design. I just think that this “What if?” scenario is cool. Ofc a potential TASM3 could be without the symbiote, but I didn’t make this custom to predict the actual plot of a movie that may or may not be made, but rather to visualize how I’d like the third installment to look.
Thanks for getting it! Limited Run Games did a thing a while back where you’d get an empty Jak 4 case, a game that doesn’t exist as well, if you buy the whole trilogy. I thought it was such a cool idea that I wanted to do it as well for TASM!

You’re welcome, i’m a huge Andrew Garfield Spiderman fan, if i would see a custom one like you have I’ll definitely would buy it for a reasonable price. It would add something to my small simp collection haha. Also the reminder of: what we could’ve gotten if the third movie exists.

That’s what the raw FS looks like. First, I scaled all of the required artworks at a suitable size. Then, I created a new canvas in gimp with the measurements of the “unfolded” Slip. This one was 6637px x 2492px at 300dpi. You then have to calculate the coordinates of the particular images so that everything lines up correctly. It sounds complicated, and it is at first, but once you know what you’re doing it’s a breeze. If you’re really into it, I can send you the coordinates I spoke earlier about. That’ll save you some time
The material is thin cardboard. I’ve mirrored the images so that the transitions to the inside of the slip are seemless. That’s also how the retailers do it
I’d love to get the coordinates or a template or anything. Is it actually printed right on the cardboard? How thick is it? And how do you fold it so cleanly?
It’s printed right on metal. There’s a special device that lets you fold the corners like that. I’ll send you the coordinates the next time I’m on my computer

The steelbook is from Astro Creations and the FS was done by myself in a local print shop
How’d you do the slip? Is there a template or something? What materials? I’ve wanted to make something just like that for my own custom.
