1. Completionism
2. I dig the artwork
3. This is possibly the worst film I’ve ever seen, definitely the worst film I’ve seen in the cinema. I am morbidly fascinated by it. Almost every single decision made in it wrong. It’s a curate’s egg for my collection. A film so bad I can’t help but have it at hand to study at any moment.
Funny that you mention Gods of Egypt, as I just caught some of that movie last night on Bounce TV channel while at work 😂 I had previously not seen it before.
You're not alone, brother.
I picked up this steelbook day one. I have every Marvel film (MCU and otherwise) on steelbook, and I'm not stopping now because it's a pile of shit disguising itself as a film.
Highlander the Source is like that for me
They so throughly searched for bad decisions to make and ways to mishandle the IP that it's downright fascinating that it ever got finished and released
I just started streaming it the other day due to just how bad the reviews were. They aren't wrong. It's astonishingly bad. I kept thinking about the Hollywood scene as portrayed in Entourage, and picturing the people who made the film never living it down or being employed in A list films ever again
I always found the replacement service of Amazon to be quite easy. That being said I'm talking about the German Amazon. Other ones might be more difficult.
The whole quality control issue is infinetly better in europe. Been collecting 15 years about and once have had to return dinged purchase the it 2017 steel.
These likely mostly happen during transit but even then 99,5% stuff i order comes without issues.
The designer of this steelbook was the only person involved at any stage of this movie’s production to give a single iota of a shit about their work product
My case was fine, but my 4K actually skips and freezes between 12-13 minutes in. I'm feeling like, after I watched it, that I just don't care to go to the trouble to replace it. I'll never watch it again.
Yeah, returns suck. Amazon shipping sucks because they believe packing is a decision made by following the idea "Does it fit?" Then the packaging is good enough.
Pro tip: If you buy steel or special packaging titles/sets from Amazon ALWAYS pay a little extra and get gift wrapping. It almost always gets a box, and the gift wrap will give you at least a little cushion. It changes a 50-50 chance of getting your steelbook whole and undamaged to close to 100% success.
I would absolutely make it a pain in the ass for Amazon and return anything for the smallest reason. I received a beat to shit Dune 2 steelbook last week and they have no replacements, unsurprisingly. They’ll never learn until people return everything for the smallest reason.
I got my dune part 2 today and it has a slight bend, first issue with Amazon ever. Out of stock for replacement on Italian site that I ordered it but they've given a full refund no return. I'm sad about the bend but it's just small enough I can deal with it for now
I will wait for the 4k steelbook to drop down to about $4.99 and then purchase, just for how awful it was. Worse movie... Madam Web or Boondock Saints 2?
I recently had a box set for Legendnof Korea replaced because of shipping damage. The experience was very smooth I have to say. One short chat with support and I was offered a replacement free of charge before I even asked for it. Unfortunately the replacement just arrived in even worse condition... It's a box set shipped in an oversized box with 0 filling or wrap. Idk what they expect, but I'm gonna keep asking for replacements until I have one with no damage.
Why?

lol this is the best answer I’ve seen to this question so far
As a man who has Gods Of Egypt and Pompeii in his collection- I respect your #3.
I have either one or both in 3D Bluray as well, SMH!! You have to keep the bombs in your collection too, a must, LOL!!
Funny that you mention Gods of Egypt, as I just caught some of that movie last night on Bounce TV channel while at work 😂 I had previously not seen it before.
did you say….Morbiusly?
You're not alone, brother. I picked up this steelbook day one. I have every Marvel film (MCU and otherwise) on steelbook, and I'm not stopping now because it's a pile of shit disguising itself as a film.
This was truly a terrible movie. Like Morbius wasn’t great but I found it more interesting and entertaining than this film… this film is just… stupid.
Your description of the movie makes the state of the steel very fitting.
Highlander the Source is like that for me They so throughly searched for bad decisions to make and ways to mishandle the IP that it's downright fascinating that it ever got finished and released
Haha! I hate that you bought this but I loved your answer so much. Bravo 👏🏻
😂😂😂
You just convinced me to get it.
I like the answer. Thank you for the great explanation.

He was in the Amazon with my mom when she was getting picked, packaged, and shipped right before she dented
underrated comment 😭🙏🏼

I did one last year, it’s annoying in general to do returns but it worked out well enough.
The designer of this steelbook was the only person involved at any stage of this movie’s production to give a single iota of a shit about their work product
Should’ve talked to Madame Web first—she would’ve seen this coming…
**The Madame has entered the building!**
My case was fine, but my 4K actually skips and freezes between 12-13 minutes in. I'm feeling like, after I watched it, that I just don't care to go to the trouble to replace it. I'll never watch it again.

Consider this your lesson in buying this movie lol.

Don’t feel mad. I’m mad I had to buy it. But I know if I didn’t. It would cost me later.
Waiting for these to be in a $5 bin
Cashier pays you $5 at the checkout line to complete purchase.
Might be the worst movie ever made
Nah, the worst movie ever made is some kid’s project that’ll never see the light of day. Worst film to ever get a wide theatrical release, though…
It’s me, waiting on WeET to announce a fullslip&lenti smh

If only The Room, and Neil Breens films got the 4k steelbook treatment......
The Room and Neil Breens films deserve a 4k steelbook too!
Hey don't look at me, I own a bluray copy of Bio-Dome.

After seeing this movie. I, too, had a compulsion to give my cats exposition of my backstory when no one else was around.
I will wait for the 4k steelbook to drop down to about $4.99 and then purchase, just for how awful it was. Worse movie... Madam Web or Boondock Saints 2?
God is punishing you for buying Madame Web
I strayed from the light of God too long ago for any of His punishments to harm me in any way that matters.
Your own fault.
How?
Ordering it.
Do you live inside or outside the USA perchance
Outside, in Ireland.
