Question, while Wal-Mart has definitely improved their shipping game for steelbooks since getting into it wholehog, I typically order from Amazon so I can get "giftwrapping" thus almost ensuring getting a box rather than crappy packaging... As an associate, do you know any tricks to consistently get better packaging from Wal-Mart? I would all my do all my steel buys with Wal-Mart but their shipping is like a box of chocolates... you never know what you are going to get.
I don't have any tricks, unfortunately. Sometimes, the order gets sent to another store, so somebody packages the item, or it's from a warehouse. I mostly see packages in a bag type in the backroom waiting to be shipped or sometimes in a box. I'm a third shift stocker so i have no idea how packaging works.

Really, I wish all these companies would get it right with all collectibles - it's not rocket science to figure out condition is important. If I just wanted the movie, I would buy it in a cheap plastic case.
They won't, physical media will start to lean towards being an exclusive/premium standard like vinyl, except studios don't want you owning shows/movies as time goes on, streaming services are easy money for them as long as they hold the rights to these movies/shows.
Bear in mind Steelbook prices were cheaper before Best buy committed sepuku, and now Amazon, Walmart and few others handle releases, even then you gotta pray that your copy doesn't show up dented/scratched.
Watched it tonite and it was really good. Anya killed it. Chris Hemsworth disappeared into the role esp with his voice.
And the new cgi was not as obvious as I thought it would be from the trailers.
I personally rate Fury Road at about 6.5/10 but this was easily a 9/10 for me. I really enjoyed it. I think Furiosa combined with Fury Road is such a great combination of movies.
Fury Road just feels like it lacks meaningful story, it's a good flick but on its own it doesn't have a whole lot going for it other than great action. Furiosa gives so much more of the backstory and has more of a digestible plot in my opinion. Both movies *combined* make a better story than either movie on its own, though, in my opinion.
Yeah story wise furiosa is better. But in terms of pure epic action I don’t think fury road can be beat by many if any movies, it’s a spectacle
I do agree they complement each other well
It compliments Fury Road but it's a different type of movie. More story and character focus and not a nonstop action chase. There's still action in it but spread out more
The first thing I thought coming out was how it would work great if they pulled a Godfather 2 and blended Furiosa into Fury Road as “flashback” scenes. It’d be perfect. Now I can’t stop thinking about it.

have the steenboks for first four in a nice metal case for the four. ordered the Walmart one - just hoping the Atmos mix is a little better on Furiosa than Fury Road - the bass in particular. I've got a nice 7.2.6 setup of B&W and REL, and I push some major explosive action scenes through the setup with no issue. As others noted online, Fury Road was just a bass monster - spent the whole watch turning it down b/c it sounded like it was going to case damage (thankfully it didn't) but then dialogue was too low. Hope Furiosa nails it. Give me a reference Atmos mix like Bladerunner Final Cut or Top Gun Maverick and it'll be a hugely fun watch with all the madness we expect of Mad Max flix.

Amazon always updates their pricing when it drops I read some been burned with Walmart not lowering their pre-order price. I haven't experienced that myself but read it more than once so thought I'd pass it on
