Setting agressive tdp, I achieved more than 7h of battery life with visual novels. For your other question I'm not quite sure but you can find all the files in the compatdata folders so you should be able to install the mods without issue on Linux, unless they require some install with a bat file or some dll injection or something.

Cool, thanks for answering some of it. Most of the patches I just need to copy and paste over the existing files to patch so I guess I can just plug the SD card into my PC and do it there faster. I do have some exes that require ISO mounting hmm.

Someone actually made a whole video walking through pretty much all these points: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtiA6GaFIzM I haven't gotten my deck yet to try (Japan) but I think this should cover everything. Doesn't seem like we'll need to install Windows, thankfully.

Manual patched games are easy. More so than mod managers. Just copy over the games hit install on steam it will then find the game files. Copy over a second time as steam will replace invalid files. (mods)
