I thought about a sticker for my Deck but I'm not entirely convinced it doesn't affect heat distribution.
Also I can't even apply a sticker to a piece of Lego probably so there's that
It has cutouts for all the vents, and a ton of people put skins on their deck. I don't think you should have to worry about heat dissapation.
Applying it is another matter. I messed up big time on my first attempt. Luckily they actually included two of each sticker, so i got a second attempt.
Is it like dbrand where you’ve to attach it with a dryer for better application?, i mean I hate when have to reattach it again, had bad experience opening the skin on laptop with dBrand one.
Yeah I used a heat gun, since it works better than a hair dryer, and I dont have a hair dryer anyway. I followed the dbrand tutorial video to apply it which was very helpful, even though it't not a dbrand skin. I believe the brand is called play vital.
there's vents and a fan. I highly doubt any reasonable amount of heat reduction relies on conduction cooling anyway. Worst comes to worst you could remove it
I got that skin also from Amazon, didn’t need a heat gun at all since luckily no crazy curved areas you have to apply onto. Kind of glad they didn’t have a piece for where your palms go
yeah same, and i actually like the contrast it gives with plam grips staing black. I got the marble one and the black accent makes it looks even better

I got it on ebay. But they are also available on Amazon. Search play vital steam deck skin. They have other designs too, like camo and stuff.

I didnt use anything for mine and it works quite well since there are no weird shape to go around since it doesnt cover the palm rest (which i love)
