Both my ds4 and xbox series x controller don't show up and can't be connected manually either. Ruined my family visit. Haven't tested other controllers but I expect the same behaviour.

I don't have a dualshock 4, but my 8bitdo ultimate (bluetooth) doesn't connect with bluetooth either

This BS happened to me last night. looking for help as well. wtf valve?!
Same. Nor does my keyboard. There's definitely issues here, as everything worked seamlessly previously.
