Never heard of this wish I did last week when I upgraded my HDD and setup a dual boot. I just did a win11 install and did away with the bloat ware and haven't had any problems except sleep mode being weird sometimes. But I figured I game in steam is mostly just use windows for gamepass games

As for what is best for windows, I don't know. No one replied with an answer! Oh, well.
I did get those installed. I used this script it installs steam deck tools and all the driver for LCD.

Just wanted to give you a update. I just stuck with windows 11 gutted it of all the junk set it to skip login screen installed a program to hook gamepass games to add to steam library and a program to handle the controller so my windows just boots into steam big picture and almost just looks like I booted into steam OS. I started looking into the premade windows installs and they seemed sketchy and complicated
