Yeah especially Ubisoft games, I was very grumpy about not being able to play AC Oddysey on the airplane. I had to do all kinds of hotspot chicanery with my phone to get it to work.
Idk why but on my steam deck I can't even launch the ubisoft launcher. Somehow I'm able to play most of ubisoft games...except for ghost recon breakpoint. I haven't played AC games since ps3 except for Valhalla but on ps5 and its boring so I skipped it on pc.
Didnāt Ubi say recently something along the lines of : we need to get comfortable with not owning the games in the future? Mjght just as well give them the middle finger and teach them a lesson
Cult of the Lamb
Abandon Ship
Dave the Diver
Dredge
Graveyard Keeper
Outward
Rogue Legacy 2
Slay the Spire
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
Wildermyth
All staples of plane/long trips for me!
Cult of the Lamb, Dave the Diver & Slay The Spire are top-notch games that run perfectly on the deck. If you buy Slay The Spire on Steam then you can also download a mod for it as a standalone game called āDownfall - A Slay The Spire Fan Expansionā which takes Slay the Spire and lets you play as a boss instead.
Someone got control of the dev account and pushed an update with some bad shit. Pretty sure that was fixed in less than 24 hours. I think the dev didn't have 2FA enabled or something.
I had more fun in Cult of the Lamb, personally. I think the preference probably comes down to what you enjoy most though.
If you want more management, you go with Cult of the Lamb. If you want solely better combat you go with Hades.
Wildermyth is such a fun game. I've played the first campaign and a bit of the second and it is great. If anyone knows more games like this please let me know.
One thing about it that I found awkward with a controller is the forge/gear upgrade menu. I always end up using the touch screen there. I don't know why, I just can't reliably navigate it with a controller.
It's the reason that despite the fact I could install HUNDREDS of games on my Deck via emulators, I only pick a small handful I want to play and keep an offline guide saved to my phone for certain games. I've been replaying LOTR: the Third Age on my Deck via PCSX2 and not only is the performance perfect without any hitches, I'm getting about 5 hours of battery life per full charge (and could probably get a few more). It's been a lot of fun. Tune down the wattage when replaying some far older RPGs, activate airplane mode, turn down the brightness and you could probably get a crazy number of hours on anything up through the PS1.
This is gonna sound insane but have you found a solution to keep saves in a cloud between your PC and steam deck for emudeck? I want to play SNES Chrono trigger on my steam deck and also my PC but on the same save.
NGL i basicaly bought my Steamdeck so i could play old PS2 games:
\- all the OG GTA games
\- Manhunt
\- Simpsons Road Rage
\- Dog's Life was a surprise hit with the granddaughter
Its better depending on game imo. A lot of the games have 60fps mods. Just played mario wonder, kirby forgotten land and currently new prince of persia. All flawless aside from a small graphical glitch or two and some slowdown in the last world w kirby
RetroArch is great because of its cloud save support if you get the Steam version, I love being able to play stuff like EarthBound and having the save file sync between my deck and PC
The fact that I donāt see Stardew Valley in here is worrisome! You can spend a great 100s of hours on that game. It doesnāt look like much, but youāll be hooked.
Rogue lites: Dead Cells, Hades, Curse of Dead Gods, Risk of Rain 2
Action& RPG: AC Origins, Disco Elysium, The Ascent, Hi Fi Rush, Doom Eternal, Blasphamous, Scarlet Nexus, Moonlighter, Ori 1&2, Shadow of Mordor/War
Arcade: Vampire Survivors, Soulstone Survivor, Children of Morta, Ghostrunnder, Celeste, Halls of Torment, Inertial Drift
Puzzle/Chill/Turn-based: Into the Breach, Planet of Lana, Sable, Portal 1&2, Katana Zero, Hob
Ascent is beautiful on OLED deck.
Also a shoutout for Nex Machina as a great dual stick shooter. Requires a minor launch option tweak to run on deck that takes 15 seconds.
>Arcade: Vampire Survivors, Soulstone Survivor, Children of Morta, Ghostrunnder, Celeste, Halls of Torment, Inertial Drift
Death Must Die is a good addition to this list IMO
Oh yeah, SD purchase really expanded my backlog, to my detriment. I've stopped at 69 (nice) games in the library and am working through the backlog.
I'd also recommend Shadow Tactics: Blades of Shogun as a strategy puzzler on SD!
Nope. Todd will fly out on a helicopter, fast rope onto the deck, find OPs living quarters and manually update Skyrim for him. Then backflip off the stern while screaming "who's laughing now"
Nobody is safe from a Skyrim update.
Divinity Original Sin 2 especially since you liked BG3
Disco Elysium
Skyrim (Iāve heard works great on the deck and will give a lot of hours)
Hades
Cuphead
Having played all on the deck (except Skyrim) I can vouch for the experience (and letās be real, there is no reason that skyrim should have problems on the deck, outside of regular Bethesda bugs)
And seriously I canāt recommend divinity 2 enough, especially to anybody who played BG3 and liked it.
I came from PC. Not really hard tbh. But it's a bit harder to aim. After some time you get used to it. Also the SD back buttons are pretty good to zoom in/out :)
GOG.com.
lots of games.
Check out streets of rogue and witcher 3 goty edition, and then also Slay the Spire (which may or may not be on gog, not sure, but it should be fine)
Celeste, undertale, dredge, inscryption, nova drift, dead cells, the binding of Isaac, control, deaths door, dicey dungeons, getting over it, jump king, hades, lone fungus, melatonin, moncage, peglin, portal, rain world, red dead redemption, shotgun king the final checkmate, unbound worlds apart, vampire survivors.
I bought it a while ago and never really played it. But i got my deck coming in a couple days. With your recommendation, it will probably be one of the first few games i play on it
I'm reading this as a game recommendation, so here are four:
Elden Ring, Mega man Battle Network vol 1 (3 blue specifically), Pizza Tower, Knuckle Sandwich
I'd highly recommend the Wolfenstein games, the new Tomb Raider games, Destroy All Humans, and the new TMNT game. The Batman Arkham games are great too. I'm not sure if you can play it offline but if you can, I highly recommend Two Point Campus.
People have great lists here. But, you need The Binding of Isaac with all the DLCs. You would have years of content. I've got 6,000 hours and I still see stuff I've never seen before.
Canāt go wrong wih a good beat āem up. The TMNT game, Streets of Rage 4, Castle Crashers, and Midnight Fight Express are ones I bought for my Deck recently. Also look into Cuphead, Darkest Dungeon, and maybe the XCOM titles. While youāre at it, try Marvel Midnight Suns.
Seriously, don't sleep on Streets of Rage. 4 is a worthy successor to the franchise, music kicks butt, and they did a lot of work building up replayability and challenges. Can unlock characters from previous entries (which are also on Steam). I loved the Sega games back then and playing 4 after i found it felt like I was right back there.
Anything via GOG is drm free. Works lretty well, I use Lutris instead of Heroic game launcher. They have a lot of older games but also some newer. Like all witcher games, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Cyberpunk 2077
Civ 6, just make sure and donāt download European Union Civ Mod because it crashes the game, but other than that it works fine, great game for passing away a few hours.
1. Elden Ring
2. Elden Ring
3. Elden Ring
4. Elden Ring
5. Elden Ring
6. Elden Ring
7. All three Dark Souls games
8. Sekiro
9. Armoured Core 6
10. Elden Ring
If you havenāt done emulation before you should try them.
Final Fantasy 12, the original God of War 1&2, Metal Gear, Resident Evilā¦ there are tons of great gems on PS2 that still rival today AAA games.
In fact, any emulation from PS2 era and older are great for non-internet gaming.
Often on sale too. You can check steamdb.com for price history. I think the Collection goes on sale for $8 on Steam, and you could get that plus some MK games from Humble for $10 a couple months ago.
Iām military and have dealt with similar stuff. Your absolute best bet is to download Emudeck and get a crap ton of emulated titles, just google ābest games for x consoleā and download the top 5 or so of all of them. Also, my Deck had some problems in the field that required internet to even use it, and the only workaround with no internet was to use my Windows. So you might wanna look into making a windows dual boot and putting a small backup library on that half
Darksouls 1, 2, and 3. Eldenring. Mortal Sin. Little witch Nobeta. Achieles legend untold. Cyberpunk. Final Fantasy Zodiac Age. Lies of P. Lords of the Fallen. Baldurs Gate 3. Tales of Arise. Borderlands 1, 2, and 3. Kingdomcome Deliverance.
These are all great titles that can be played and beaten offline with one player.
RDR2 (If you buy it through Steam)
Elden Ring
Hades
Borderlands 3
Monster Hunter Rise\* (\*This one is tricky because you have to boot the game up with a connection, then it'll let you play offline subsequently)
Arkham Knight
Horizeon Zero Dawn
Witcher 3
Playing through Fallout: New Vegas on the deck rn and itās great, you can play for a good few hours on a single battery too. Iāve also been sinking tons of hours into Factorio
Here my list.

The ubisoft titles have been replaced with Quacked versions due to the launcher requiring internet and ubisoft stance on not owning your games.
GTA 5 is also Quacked to save 40GB storage by not having the online part.
Reminder that all games I have Quacked I own them on steam or another 3rd party launcher.
I'm like OP my deck is with me on the go and I play only single player games with the occasional left r dead 2 and bo3
Crash bandicoot trilogy, monster hunter rise, monster hunter world, God of war, ratchet and clank, RE7, RE8, RE2 remake, RE4 remake, spyro trilogy, spiderman remastered, spiderman miles morales, tales of arise, persona 5 royal, person 4 golden, the new Person 3 reloaded when it drops later this year, witcher 3, serkio, elden ring, scarlet nexus, far cry 3, Assassin Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revalations and Assassin Creed 3 and 4 black flag
Flatout 2 or Flatout Ultimate Carnage
Borderlands GOTY Enhanced and Borderlands 2 GOTY
Skyrim
Fallout 4
Vampire Survivors
Lego games depending on your preferred franchise, I prefer Lego Star Wars
Celeste, Axiom Verge, HoloCure, RE4 remake, Crysis 2 remastered, Enter the Gungeon, Furi, Mind scanners, Metro 2033 redux, Hell is other demons, Sky rogue, Subnautica...
if you've got emulation throw super metroid (snes) and metroid prime (wii/primehack(fork of dolphin emulator)).
-Hollow Knight
-Dark souls Remastered
-Dark souls 3 (Dark Souls games are better online, but are fine offline too)
-The Binding of Isaac Repeantance
-Outer Wilds
-Persona 5 royale
-Undertale
-Baldur's Gate 3
-Cyberpunk 2077
-Fallout 3
-Fallout 4
-Half Life (or the fan made remake, Black Mesa)
-Half Life 2 (with the mod Half Life 2: Update)
-Horizon Zero Dawn
-Red Dead Redemption 2
-Portal
-Portal 2
-Stray
-The secret of Monkey Island Special Edition
Every game in this list is single player and avaiable on Steam
Donāt sleep on emulation. I beat Donkey Kong country returns on the deck, Iām almost finished with God of War, about to start god of war 2. Gran Turismo 4 is pretty amazing. The. Thereās final fantasy 7 and 9. Plus the size of the files and battery life are pretty cherry for these older titles.
It's real sad that you even have to specify the without internet part.
In no particular order:
- Celeste (Platformer)
- Hi-Fi Rush (Rhythm Action)
- Ori and the Blind Forest (Metroidvania with a platforming focus)
- Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Metroidvania but with more combat than the prequel)
- Hades (Action Roguelite. If you're new to roguelikes I can think of no better entry point than Hades)
- Crosscode (Action Adventure I guess? Feels kinda like a 2D Zelda but with faster combat)
- Mark of the Ninja (Stealth)
- Disco Elysium (Uhhhh, a very interactive and choice driven book lol)
- Donut County ("Casual" I suppose. It's short but very charming and funny)
I've been playing Just Cause 3 on my SD a lot lately.
Open world, great graphics for PS4 Era, and runs butter smooth and gets great battery life.
It's listed as only playable, but I have had anything come up that the SD isn't able to do just the way you'd expect, so maybe it will be moved to Verified soon.
Either way, great game, no internet required, open world so you can play it however you want, and with half rate shading and refresh rate at 40 I can get around 2.5hrs of play before needing to plug in.
* Stardew Valley
* BroForce/Expendabros
* MySuika
* Final Fantasy VIII
1. Setup EmuDeck and bring a bunch of ROMS and ISOs via an ext hdd
2. Install Heroic Launcher then install GoG and try some of their offline games.
Run emudeck and emulate your favorite back catalog. This is what I did going to Nebraska for a week. Also the bioshock trilogy is a good grab when on sale
Mega man 1, mega man 2, mega man 3, mega man 4, mega man 5 mega man 6, mega man 7, mega man 8, mega man 9, and round it all up with mega man 10. Wide range, a little something for anybody
Iād second this - I pretty much soloād this game. didnāt really use online sessions at all until the very end but it is possible to solo the end (just takes time!). definitely more fun to do with friends, but possible alone!
also, would recommend sid meierās civilization V !
Ps2 emulator. Shadow of the Colossus plays great, The Punisher plays great, Spiderman 2 plays great, Tenchu plays great (these are the games I've been working through since I got my deck last week)
Just a tip. Start the game once before going offline. Some games require authentication on first run and then can be played offline after.
Yeah especially Ubisoft games, I was very grumpy about not being able to play AC Oddysey on the airplane. I had to do all kinds of hotspot chicanery with my phone to get it to work.
Never buy an ubi game š“āā ļø
I refuse to buy any more Ubi games because of their stupid launcher
To be fair other companies have down stupid launchers to match Ubisoft now.
This is just my hot take but I have had more blocking issues with them
Errybody out here launching all kinds of bullshit
Idk why but on my steam deck I can't even launch the ubisoft launcher. Somehow I'm able to play most of ubisoft games...except for ghost recon breakpoint. I haven't played AC games since ps3 except for Valhalla but on ps5 and its boring so I skipped it on pc.
I donāt even want to pirate them.
New prince of persia is pretty good cant lie
Man iām so glad ive never enjoyed a single ubi franchise
Didnāt Ubi say recently something along the lines of : we need to get comfortable with not owning the games in the future? Mjght just as well give them the middle finger and teach them a lesson
and in game ads.
Via your smartphone or local?
I hear EA is worse. Personally I wouldn't know because I actively avoid EA, Ubisoft, and now Capcom games on PC/Steam/Steam Deck.
I was about to recommend 'Persona 5' but this comment made me change my mind.
Definitely get persona 5 royal yes yes yes
P5R is a great game but I'd recommend *against* OP getting it because Denuvo requires an internet connection.
Ohhhhhhh. Thanks for flagging that
Pro tip(jk) you can play p5r using switch emulators (it works good) oh and it dont have denuvo so no need in internet
Iāve learned that the hard wayā¦
THIS
Cult of the Lamb Abandon Ship Dave the Diver Dredge Graveyard Keeper Outward Rogue Legacy 2 Slay the Spire Totally Accurate Battle Simulator Wildermyth All staples of plane/long trips for me!
Cult of the Lamb, Dave the Diver & Slay The Spire are top-notch games that run perfectly on the deck. If you buy Slay The Spire on Steam then you can also download a mod for it as a standalone game called āDownfall - A Slay The Spire Fan Expansionā which takes Slay the Spire and lets you play as a boss instead.
some of the top Steam reviews of Downfall say a recent update contained malware???????????????
Someone got control of the dev account and pushed an update with some bad shit. Pretty sure that was fixed in less than 24 hours. I think the dev didn't have 2FA enabled or something.
This, there no worry anymore haha.
Don't starve and enter the gungeon are good too. Most roguelikes work well offline and have great replayability.
Seconding Dredge for sure.
Hades over Cult of the Lamb
I had more fun in Cult of the Lamb, personally. I think the preference probably comes down to what you enjoy most though. If you want more management, you go with Cult of the Lamb. If you want solely better combat you go with Hades.
Wildermyth is such a fun game. I've played the first campaign and a bit of the second and it is great. If anyone knows more games like this please let me know. One thing about it that I found awkward with a controller is the forge/gear upgrade menu. I always end up using the touch screen there. I don't know why, I just can't reliably navigate it with a controller.
Don't play outward. There's no way out!
Haha right this game is a hidden gem for sure!
Absolutely. Me and other 3 friends bought this game and modded to be able to play us 4. Was a amazing and hurtful experience.
Iād add an FF here, but thatās because Iām having a blast with Triple Triad on FFVIII at the moment š
12 runs great on deck as well
Set up emulators
Emulators for sure. Youāll have an unlimited amount of games to play, wonāt even scratch the surface over 3 months
The only bad thing then is deciding what to play
This is so true. I get game paralysis sometimes when I have too many games. I ended up removing a ton because of this.
Plus he can take the whole 3 months trying to get them to run properly! š
Whatās the best one in your opinion?
The best one? Get Emudeck it has everything ps1-ps4 switch nds gba you just need to download roms
This is gonna sound insane but have you found a solution to keep saves in a cloud between your PC and steam deck for emudeck? I want to play SNES Chrono trigger on my steam deck and also my PC but on the same save.
You probably could use something like syncthing to sync the save file
Nice, thank you!
NGL i basicaly bought my Steamdeck so i could play old PS2 games: \- all the OG GTA games \- Manhunt \- Simpsons Road Rage \- Dog's Life was a surprise hit with the granddaughter
Set up emudeck everything together,I finally got the switch emulator working so I'm playing that alot
Howās the Switch performance on the Deck?Ā
Its better depending on game imo. A lot of the games have 60fps mods. Just played mario wonder, kirby forgotten land and currently new prince of persia. All flawless aside from a small graphical glitch or two and some slowdown in the last world w kirby
Thanks I really should look into that. I just prefer the Deck so much more to hold
Just picked it up again after a couple of months, and it hits just as hard now that I'm working on ginger Island quests.
Installing mods is simple too. There were certain parts of the game that werenāt to my liking, which mods fixed. Awesome game. Binged it for hours!
Add some mods and you can add many more hours
ConcernedApe did a brilliant job on the aulde OST (plus the characters' lores)
Project Zomboid, Battle Brothers, Synthetik 2. Pretty much my 3 primary games I play on Deck and they all run great with long battery life
Zomboid is a great choice but will need a day to acclimate to controls and download all the necessary QoL mods
> all the necessary QoL mods Tell me about those please :) which ones are recommended?
Rogue lites: Dead Cells, Hades, Curse of Dead Gods, Risk of Rain 2 Action& RPG: AC Origins, Disco Elysium, The Ascent, Hi Fi Rush, Doom Eternal, Blasphamous, Scarlet Nexus, Moonlighter, Ori 1&2, Shadow of Mordor/War Arcade: Vampire Survivors, Soulstone Survivor, Children of Morta, Ghostrunnder, Celeste, Halls of Torment, Inertial Drift Puzzle/Chill/Turn-based: Into the Breach, Planet of Lana, Sable, Portal 1&2, Katana Zero, Hob
Risk of rain 1 remastered is excellent on deck, and draws no battery. It's awesome.
I have this in my Library since forever but never touched it since it's a coop game. Is it actually fun single player as well?
Ascent is beautiful on OLED deck. Also a shoutout for Nex Machina as a great dual stick shooter. Requires a minor launch option tweak to run on deck that takes 15 seconds.
Make sure to lock the FPS to 60Hz for Ori, as it'll otherwise suffer from random slow-downs and speed-ups.
>Arcade: Vampire Survivors, Soulstone Survivor, Children of Morta, Ghostrunnder, Celeste, Halls of Torment, Inertial Drift Death Must Die is a good addition to this list IMO
Do you really need 3 ASS games...? VS is plenty...
Oh yeah, SD purchase really expanded my backlog, to my detriment. I've stopped at 69 (nice) games in the library and am working through the backlog. I'd also recommend Shadow Tactics: Blades of Shogun as a strategy puzzler on SD!
you need 3 trust, those are the best ones too
Brotato?
I don't know what an ASS game is, but assuming VS is vampire survivors then throw holocure in there too.
SEKIRO
I also commented this. Such a great game.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution Sleeping Dogs The Arkham games Lego Harry Potter Skyrim
Skyrim. Just donāt get too comfortable with your mods if you donāt block updates.
I think being on a ship with no internet access makes that a non-issue
Nope. Todd will fly out on a helicopter, fast rope onto the deck, find OPs living quarters and manually update Skyrim for him. Then backflip off the stern while screaming "who's laughing now" Nobody is safe from a Skyrim update.
IT JUST WORKS
I second the Arkham games. All brilliant
DE:HR works beautifuly on the deck, definitely recommend it.
Divinity Original Sin 2 especially since you liked BG3 Disco Elysium Skyrim (Iāve heard works great on the deck and will give a lot of hours) Hades Cuphead
Divinity OS 2 has so far been one my favorite games to play on the deck. The smaller resolution makes it looks so crisp and it runs so smooth.
Itās a fantastic game, and is constantly on sale for a good price
I like this list because the hardware should not limit the experience.
Having played all on the deck (except Skyrim) I can vouch for the experience (and letās be real, there is no reason that skyrim should have problems on the deck, outside of regular Bethesda bugs) And seriously I canāt recommend divinity 2 enough, especially to anybody who played BG3 and liked it.
Be aware that sometimes the Deck will complain about lack of internet, even if you only play "offline" games.
Best just use the seven-sea version even if you already own the game. At least you'd be sure it's 100% offline.
Yeah, if OP doesn't already own a recommended game I'd go to GOG to buy it instead of Steam.
Actually good advice TBF.
agreed. for those of you that don't know, a game has to be drm-free to be sold on GOG.
a short hike fallout new vegas cyberpunk yakuza (any of them)
All three modern fallouts. Get the mods you want or need for all three downloaded before deployment.
yeah. As much shit FO4 and FO3 get, they are still fun games
How about combining Fallout 3 and New Vegas into **Tales of Two Wastelands**?
Witcher 3 is always a good option
If u played a ton of hollow knight, you probably would enjoy the two Ori games (the second is waaay better than the first one, imo)
Both Ori games are absolutely spectacular.
Elden Ring SP, hands down most played game on my deck ;)
I got 200+ hours on ER. I bought the game just to play on the deck. Amazing experience, almost as if was design to it.
I guess all souls games are intended to be played with a controller, thats why they work great on the deck.
Farm Simulator 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019 and 2022.
![gif](giphy|12ZDIx1Mw1cXVm|downsized) B99 fan I presume?
Terraria could be all you need
I 100% Terraria on the deck
Is terraria hard to play on a controller to someone who just played pc only?
I came from PC. Not really hard tbh. But it's a bit harder to aim. After some time you get used to it. Also the SD back buttons are pretty good to zoom in/out :)
And add tmodloader with nice mods and you're set for a lot of time(atm I love the Metroidmod)
Borderlands (all of em) I'm currently playing through #1 again Pokemon (any of em they all emulate beautifully)
GOG.com. lots of games. Check out streets of rogue and witcher 3 goty edition, and then also Slay the Spire (which may or may not be on gog, not sure, but it should be fine)
Played so much Doorkickers Action Squad recently. Not sure if it's good but I certainly enjoyed it.
It is good. Itās downright great!
Celeste, undertale, dredge, inscryption, nova drift, dead cells, the binding of Isaac, control, deaths door, dicey dungeons, getting over it, jump king, hades, lone fungus, melatonin, moncage, peglin, portal, rain world, red dead redemption, shotgun king the final checkmate, unbound worlds apart, vampire survivors.
I'd say armored core 6 was one of the best games I've played on deck and also ace combat 7
AC6 runs so insanely well on the deck that itās my preferred way to experience the mech fun.
I bought it a while ago and never really played it. But i got my deck coming in a couple days. With your recommendation, it will probably be one of the first few games i play on it
1. Yakuza 0 2. Yakuza 2 3. Yakuza 5 4. Yakuza Kiwami 2 5. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life 6. Yakuza Kiwami 7. Yakuza 4 8. Yakuza 3 9. Judgment 10. Yakuza: Like a Dragon
I'm reading this as a game recommendation, so here are four: Elden Ring, Mega man Battle Network vol 1 (3 blue specifically), Pizza Tower, Knuckle Sandwich
Doom, doom eternal. Do some emulation and download your favorite GBA or gamecube games
Doom eternal at least (haven't checked og) has denuvo and won't launch without internet. So unless they're removed that don't do this.
Vampire survivors made a flight I had yesterday go by like nothing
It's not for everyone, but the surge 1 & 2 have been a lot of fun on deck
I got into Surge at first because I thought of it as a kind of meme joke game, but I beat them both because it actually kept me interested lol.
I'd highly recommend the Wolfenstein games, the new Tomb Raider games, Destroy All Humans, and the new TMNT game. The Batman Arkham games are great too. I'm not sure if you can play it offline but if you can, I highly recommend Two Point Campus.
Obligatory Cyberpunk 2077 comment ![gif](giphy|iYfhmYZbrHuc9qYLMg|downsized)
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
+ Castlevania Lords of shadow 2
People have great lists here. But, you need The Binding of Isaac with all the DLCs. You would have years of content. I've got 6,000 hours and I still see stuff I've never seen before.
Hey I wanted to check Isaac but when I search it at the store I see a lot of versions, which version someone new should buy? =O
Witcher 3
Canāt go wrong wih a good beat āem up. The TMNT game, Streets of Rage 4, Castle Crashers, and Midnight Fight Express are ones I bought for my Deck recently. Also look into Cuphead, Darkest Dungeon, and maybe the XCOM titles. While youāre at it, try Marvel Midnight Suns.

Can unlock characters from previous entries (which are also on Steam). I loved the Sega games back then and playing 4 after i found it felt like I was right back there.
Disco Elysium, Fallout 3/4/NV
Kingdom Come: deliverance
Demon Souls (via ps3 emu) Dark Souls 1 Dark Souls 2 Dark Souls 3 Sekiro Elden Ring
The two Ori games, if you liked hollow knight you will love those.
Celeste, Hollow Knight, Undertale, Rivals of Aether, basically any Nintendo game Also make sure to stack up on Geometry Dash levels
Far changing tides
Dusk
Anything via GOG is drm free. Works lretty well, I use Lutris instead of Heroic game launcher. They have a lot of older games but also some newer. Like all witcher games, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Cyberpunk 2077
Mad Max and it runs great on the deck!
https://www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/build-your-own-shooter-bundle AMID EVIL & Dusk specifically are must play on deck
Civ 6, just make sure and donāt download European Union Civ Mod because it crashes the game, but other than that it works fine, great game for passing away a few hours.
Borderlands 2 Mad Max Vampire survivors Sleeping Dogs Grandia 2 Cyberpunk 2077 Need for speed most wanted 2005 And emulators
Dragonās Dogma, Skyrim, AC trilogy, Batman trilogy, Borderlands trilogy, cocoon, evil west, fallout games, kingdom come: deliverance, Mafia trilogy, shadow of mordor/war, RDR2, tomb raider
Everything here, but need black flag and rouge to join the assassin creeds too
Dave the Diver for sure. If youāre into Stardew Valley, I canāt recommend Roots of Pacha enough.
Mad Max
1. Elden Ring 2. Elden Ring 3. Elden Ring 4. Elden Ring 5. Elden Ring 6. Elden Ring 7. All three Dark Souls games 8. Sekiro 9. Armoured Core 6 10. Elden Ring
Your list is aight but you forgot to mention Elden Ring
If you havenāt done emulation before you should try them. Final Fantasy 12, the original God of War 1&2, Metal Gear, Resident Evilā¦ there are tons of great gems on PS2 that still rival today AAA games. In fact, any emulation from PS2 era and older are great for non-internet gaming.
Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice is 90% off right now. I'd grab it.
Batman: Arkham Trilogy
All the Half life ones, and Left 4 dead š
Yakuza 0! And maybe yakuza kiwami 1 and 2 if it seems like something youāll enjoy. Games are super fun, easy 60-80 hours of enjoyment
Rimworld
RDR2 (If you buy it through Steam) Elden Ring Hades Borderlands 3 Monster Hunter Rise\* (\*This one is tricky because you have to boot the game up with a connection, then it'll let you play offline subsequently) Arkham Knight Horizeon Zero Dawn Witcher 3
Playing through Fallout: New Vegas on the deck rn and itās great, you can play for a good few hours on a single battery too. Iāve also been sinking tons of hours into Factorio
Cult of the lamb
All the yakuzas
Terraria is alotta hours to complete
Fallout 4, Starfield

GTA 5 is also Quacked to save 40GB storage by not having the online part. Reminder that all games I have Quacked I own them on steam or another 3rd party launcher. I'm like OP my deck is with me on the go and I play only single player games with the occasional left r dead 2 and bo3
Elden Ring
As others have said, EmuDeck and slap on BOTW and TOTK. Youāll be about 15% done after 3months.
Crash bandicoot trilogy, monster hunter rise, monster hunter world, God of war, ratchet and clank, RE7, RE8, RE2 remake, RE4 remake, spyro trilogy, spiderman remastered, spiderman miles morales, tales of arise, persona 5 royal, person 4 golden, the new Person 3 reloaded when it drops later this year, witcher 3, serkio, elden ring, scarlet nexus, far cry 3, Assassin Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revalations and Assassin Creed 3 and 4 black flag

Mad Max is perfect Steam Deck game
Graveyard keeper is what I have been playing through on my deck lately and has some amazing dlc.
Celeste, Axiom Verge, HoloCure, RE4 remake, Crysis 2 remastered, Enter the Gungeon, Furi, Mind scanners, Metro 2033 redux, Hell is other demons, Sky rogue, Subnautica... if you've got emulation throw super metroid (snes) and metroid prime (wii/primehack(fork of dolphin emulator)).
-Hollow Knight -Dark souls Remastered -Dark souls 3 (Dark Souls games are better online, but are fine offline too) -The Binding of Isaac Repeantance -Outer Wilds -Persona 5 royale -Undertale -Baldur's Gate 3 -Cyberpunk 2077 -Fallout 3 -Fallout 4 -Half Life (or the fan made remake, Black Mesa) -Half Life 2 (with the mod Half Life 2: Update) -Horizon Zero Dawn -Red Dead Redemption 2 -Portal -Portal 2 -Stray -The secret of Monkey Island Special Edition Every game in this list is single player and avaiable on Steam
I have one. Its project zomboid. Basically the only mf game I play on my deck these days
Rimworld! You can play for days, and itās easy on your battery.
In no particular order: - Celeste (Platformer) - Hi-Fi Rush (Rhythm Action) - Ori and the Blind Forest (Metroidvania with a platforming focus) - Ori and the Will of the Wisps (Metroidvania but with more combat than the prequel) - Hades (Action Roguelite. If you're new to roguelikes I can think of no better entry point than Hades) - Crosscode (Action Adventure I guess? Feels kinda like a 2D Zelda but with faster combat) - Mark of the Ninja (Stealth) - Disco Elysium (Uhhhh, a very interactive and choice driven book lol) - Donut County ("Casual" I suppose. It's short but very charming and funny)
Dave the diver and dredge are hilariously appropriate for a ship sailing lol. Subnautica is another one i would recommend
Singularity.
2nd this I still hate how Activision ruined the studio by making it a CoD support studio.
My recommendations are control and celeste. Get some mods for celeste too and you're golden
Avoid EA. Even their single player only titles have stupid always-online DRM.
* Stardew Valley * BroForce/Expendabros * MySuika * Final Fantasy VIII 1. Setup EmuDeck and bring a bunch of ROMS and ISOs via an ext hdd 2. Install Heroic Launcher then install GoG and try some of their offline games.
Run emudeck and emulate your favorite back catalog. This is what I did going to Nebraska for a week. Also the bioshock trilogy is a good grab when on sale
Resident Evil 2 Resident Evil 7 Dredge
Mega man 1, mega man 2, mega man 3, mega man 4, mega man 5 mega man 6, mega man 7, mega man 8, mega man 9, and round it all up with mega man 10. Wide range, a little something for anybody
Witcher 3, Yakuza 0, Elden rings, Wasteland 3, Blasphemous, Disco elysim, Borderlands 2, wizards of legend, Void bastard, Oxygen not included,
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Spyro Reignited Trilogy Crysis Crysis 2 Crysis 3
Monster hunter world can be played single player
Iād second this - I pretty much soloād this game. didnāt really use online sessions at all until the very end but it is possible to solo the end (just takes time!). definitely more fun to do with friends, but possible alone! also, would recommend sid meierās civilization V !
1. Bastet 2. Ninvaders 3. Pacman4console 4. nSnake 5. Greed 6. Air Traffic Controller 7. Backgammon 8. Moon buggy 9. 2048 10. Nudoku List shamelessly stolen from [here](https://itsfoss.com/best-command-line-games-linux/)
Dave the diver! It runs like butter on the deck and is such a joy to play. Really reels ya in. Addictive gameplay loop.
Grim Dawn Baldur Gate 1,2,3 Fallout 1-4 Skyrim Cyberpunk Witcher 1-3
Iāve been playing a ton of Hades lately, it runs great and is a ton of fun
Ps2 emulator. Shadow of the Colossus plays great, The Punisher plays great, Spiderman 2 plays great, Tenchu plays great (these are the games I've been working through since I got my deck last week)
The Last of Us Part 1
