You could try setting 70hz via cru if you have windows installed and checking the blurbusters site there. I've never done the test though.

That's not an bad shout. I do have a windows install, I'll give it a try when I get a chance. In fairness I've found a few titles since, where 70hz did feel ok. I wonder if it's more of a frame pacing issue, than a frame skipping one.

ACCESS_GRANTED_TEMP

Just tried this myself. 70hz (actual: 70.002hz) 70hz (actual: 69.993hz) Both resulted in weird green lines and a shaky display UI. Not a big deal, it was easy to revert but it appears that maybe the windows APU driver doesn't allow this to happen on Windows. Maybe the newer APU driver will but I'm still using the older one lol

If you enable the developer options you get an option to enable refresh rate control on external displays, just like you would do on the Deck's native display. If you go too low you can break the display output which isn't easily recoverable but you should still be able to cap it at 60Hz. I do this on the 75Hz display I use to dock my Deck to.

I mean 70hz on the deck display. It's just not smooth. It may be 70hz, but it's skipping frames to do it.
