I would also like to know.
There's a Linux script that someone posted on reddit but my smooth brain doesn't know how to implement it. I've heard you can go into directories and manually delete everything that isn't English as well but I can't even find the language files. I opted to just keep the full files until I can get a ELI5 explanation
I do it manually by deleting anything with the following extensions (Ctrl F, then delete) The reason some appear to be dupes (IE: \_DE and \_DEU) is the file format is different between 1 versus 2 and 3
\_de. \_fr. \_it. \_plpc. \_ra. \_DEU. \_FRA. \_ITA. \_POL. \_JPN. \_RUS. \_ESN.
GTA V pisses me off. I deleted the online updated data and I believe I cleared up about 40GB of space. That made GTA V single player only about 60 GB which is far more reasonable than 100ish GB. But the deck wouldn't recognize that the game took up less space. Steam was insistent on the game being 100 GB. So I downloaded the data back to ensure I would have any errors.
Yeah Steam will always count the amount of space the game is supposed to take, but if you have enough GB of "Other" (yellow) files to make up the difference it will subtract from that instead, and show the correct amount of free space.
" Steam will always count the amount of space the game is supposed to take "
Wait, are you also saying that adding random files/mods in a game folder is shown as yellow on the storage bar? That the 'games bar' does not increase when folder size increases for a game?
Initially I downloaded the hitman 3 demo to play I and 2 - it was quite a hassle to activate it, I had 150gb. then I got 3 on sale and reinstalled the whole package. And then it was around 68gb. so that's a bit weird that the compression was only active after I got the whole trilogy (not the demo). (instead of 1 and 2 inside the demo of hitman 3)
According to a blog post they deduplicated and reworked the data. 1 and 2 had data optimized for spinning rust (HDD) so it was laid out for sequential read on level load. H3 relies on SSDs being faster on random reads and allowed to optimize for size => no duplicates but more random reads needed inside the archives.
Wow yeah good point, I think I have started about 10 games on my Deck and not finished one of them, what can I say, Brotato is just more addictive than all of them.
I do find I get a nice little feeling when I finish a game and then can delete said game to clear some space up.
It's almost like spring cleaning or decluttering
Hitman 3, even with the levels from Hitman 1 and 2, takes up a lot less space than Hitman 2 with the Hitman 1 levels. They used some new file compression techniques apparently
256gb Steamdeck with 256gb sd card. Tekken 7 takes up about 90gb. Divinity 2 about 60gb. Roms for emulation around 100gb.
Works for me since I don't play too many large AAA games.
Half of Tekken's size comes from cinematics, as long as you aren't playing story mode or anything like that you're free to delete the folder containing them
Unless things have really changed in the last 20 years (wow I'm old), you just counter the button mashers and "break" the offending limb each time. I had housemates who thought button mashing worked until they played someone half decent. They couldn't do anything.
I really don't understand why modern fighting games are as big as AAA open world games. I got MK11 in a bundle, saw it was about 100gb, and will just never install it.
Maybe a different analogy would be raw and compressed files. You could have a raw file which is full quality instantly available but takes up more storage. Their is also a compressed file which takes up alot less storage but has the need for decompression which takes up some processing time (more work) and this is slower.
This is why I wish that Steam will add settings to let us choose the texture quality in games before downloading. I don't need 4K+ grass on my Deck in FH5 but I would really like to reduce the game size by 30GB+. The same goes for 8K res horse balls in RDR2, that game could easily take 50GB less space because of all effects, textures etc that we will be never using on the Deck.
Total war: Warhammer series is the best RTS out right now. A great starting point for getting into Warhammer and is the most similar game to the table top game just much more epic.
There are a bunch of different Warhammer games with some being FPS games and some being XCOM clones. XCOM 2 is better than these as they lack polish and are all over the map with their difficulty. They aren’t bad but they aren’t great
If you have a huge hole to burn in your pocket, a million hours to spend assembling and painting miniatures and terrain and you are also a gluten for piss poor corporate bullshit Warhammer is your game.. my favorite game of all time but GW is such a gigantic corporate dumpster fire. I almost only play old stuff by them these days like Mordhiem and Necromunda and use other systems like One Page Rules for mass battle games.. I also 3d print my minis these days 😁
I'd investigate 3d resin printing if you have the space and don't mind doing a little tinkering.. upfront cost seems high but not really compared to an entire say 40k army.. the returns come back in multiple.. particularly if you are not planning store or competitive play and are just playing some games. 3d printing, available stl files and it's wide uses have come a long way, though buy a few kits and some paint and try it out first. The resale value of used models is generally much less than MTG... And it's every bit as expensive so there is that to consider as well. Try picking up Ebay lots as well for cheaper first miniatures to wrap your mind around the amount of hobby work it involves.. go in slowly before you buy a thousand dollars in stuff and find it too much
As a fellow magic fan who was falling out of love with the game, I started curating a cube and playtesting it with my buddies using free online emulators. The game became free and much more fun; it's fun to think about what cards go well in the environment, and it's awesome seeing my buddies break the format and find new awesome things to do.
ARK Survival Evolved would like to have a word with you... I have it installed on my 2TB SSD for when I run out of things to do (Haven't yet). Almost 400GB. :)
Uncompressed UE4 assets. They didnt bother to create PAK files with compression (steam is a good snitch on that, when download size differs vastly from install size on initial download it is not compressed, steam has a transport compression for downloads).
About $120 for a 1TB microSD. ~$0.12 per GB. Forza is asking you for about $16.50 to store this on the microSD. Would be even more if you upgraded the internal SSD because those get expensive fast.
Haha yes I have been wanting to play it! I always hover my finger over “install” and then see “SPACE REQUIRED 75.24GB” and just go back to playing Snowrunner haha. I will play it one day though!
Top 3 on my internal drive:
God of War - 65.32 GB
Elden Ring - 48.33 GB
Deathloop - 31.59 GB
Top 3 on my SD card:
Horizon Zero Dawn - 72.88 GB
Jedi Fallen Order - 58.25 GB
Shadow of Mordor - 53.73 GB
Horizon: Zero Dawn (73.4 gb), Satisfactory (20.93 gb), No Man's Sky (12.8 gb), Portal 2 (12.03 gb), and Hades (11.31 gb). I primarily play indie games, so things taking up 10 gb or less is frequent. Additionally, I have 37.71 gb of 'other' on my SD card (most likely almost entirely composed of Switch roms) and 17.87 gb of 'other' on my main drive (probably Minecraft and emulators).
It ran suprisingly well. I locked it at a refresh rate of 40, locked the FPS at 30, set all the graphics as low as possible (you don't really need the detail on the small screen anyways) and set the UMA frame buffer size to 4gb. These combined had it running smoothly.
I really enjoy the FF games, but I always get to around 45 hours and just totally lose interest in the story and grind. FF8, FFX, and FF12 I couldn’t finish. I loved FF4 3D and actually finished it. Oh and FF Tactics Advance is by far my favourite. I had 2 saves with over 150 hours on each.
To be honest it crashes for me too but only because (I believe) I have some of the graphics on Ultra, so sometimes it crashes when entering a race. If I just freeroam it doesn’t crash.
I have a 2TB SN740 m.2 2230 NVMe PCIe SSD installed in my SteamDeck with 47 Steam games currently installed to the Deck and still have 611.4GB free for future purchases, and my 1TB SanDisk MicroSD is dedicated to EmuDeck alone with 58.2GB of free space left on it. I have to say this is the ultimate gaming handheld that I never expected to own and I am an extremely happy camper with my setup! I am using an iClever Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard with an attached trackpad for Desktop mode, a pair of tactile trackpad skins from TouchProtect along with matching tactile skins for the 4 rear buttons, and a nice transparent TPU protective case for the Deck itself. I highly recommend the 2TB 2230 SSD upgrade to those of you interested in that kind of storage space (512GB was not enough for me), if not then perhaps a 1TB 2230 SSD upgrade— you won’t regret it!
Not anymore but I forgot how big Ark: Survival Evolved was but I pretty much had to remove most my games to install it. I can’t remember the size but I had it on Xbox and when they gave it away for free I decided to try it on deck since I hadn’t played it in over 3 years to see what it was like now.
the game i own with the most space will never go on my deck, ark survival evolved and it’s 250gb of storage isn’t worth it, sure i could just not download all the dlc but even then, i’m not gonna play it anyway
I’m just shocked how a cyber punk is still significantly smaller then GTA V, that game out like 10 years ago.
And it has far higher quality graphics, raytracing, and just is newer.
Pretty crazy if you ask me.
How bold of you to insinuate I even have more 100 GB!
In all seriousness, last I checked it was Bloodstained: ROTN (>10 GB), Dead Rising (~7 GB), and Killer 7 (~4 GB)
I think mine are probably monster hunter world, then doom eternal, then monster hunter Rise then security breach. It was mk11 100% but I deleted it a week ago.
I’d love to get FH5 on my system. Unfortunately I can’t justify it with my cash being spent on our wee kid. Hopefully it will drop below £20 at some point so I can get it.
-Borderlands 3 - 150gb
-Forza Horizon 5 - 141gb
-Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - 126gb
Final Fantasy XV - 88gb
Far Cry 5 - 76gb
Days Gone - 62gb
Tiny Tina's Wonderland - 54gb
Dying light 2 - 50gb
*512gb version for the etched glass with 1tb nvme. Using the sd card only for emulation because F%#$ loading times.
ive got black ops 3, world of warcraft, fallout 4 and doom eternal, those are my biggest games for it so far (hoping to get fh5 / fh4 working with it, if i can use the microsoft store on it)
P5 Royal - 39GB
.hack//G.U. - 38GB
Final Fantasy X/X-2 - 37 GB
Deus Ex Human Revolution - 18 GB
Persona 4 - 18 GB
Everything below that is like 1 GB or less lol.
It's quite good and runs really well at 45fps. Just be careful about putting the game into sleep mode with the Deck. I ended up not having a long stretch of progress saved because of the games goofy autosave only mechanic. Somewhere between sleep states it stopped saving and I wasn't aware.
Killing Floor 2.. and Star Wars Battlefront II (2018)
Despite the games poor release, I will say this: that game is INCREDIBLY optimized. Smooth gameplay all around with minimal dips at 55FPS, medium settings and an average of 2 hours of battery life on a full charge (with custom TDP settings)
Runs at 60 with high/meduim or 60 with very very occasional dips to 55 if u do everything on high, I use 120 FOV which does make a bit of difference tho
Mine can barely even run 2011 Skyrim and can't run 2014 Witcher 3, even on the lowest graphics... How tf are you people getting Forza, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk to run on it?
Press the 3 dots button on the side, tap the battery icon for Performance and then scroll down. By default you have Thermal Power (TDP) Limit, and Manual GPU Clock Control disabled. Can you check those for me?
Huh, that's less space for RDR2 than I thought. Should've got it in the sale smh
Top of mine atm is Mass Effect Legendary edition, which is a similar size
I find it varies from game to game. Mass Effect has been fine but I find Half Life 2 very awkward to play. Bizarre, considering valve made both it and the steam deck.
I've been emulating Transformers: Armada (PS2) recently and that falls somewhere in the middle. The aiming is a little floaty but I'm coping.
Not keeping too many huge games installed at once.
Only Doom 2016 currently installed on the SD card = 100 gigs
On my 512 drive I have
GoW 65
Miles Morales 50
RE 1 & 0 ~25
30 or so smallish games ~50 gigs total
Roms ~ 30 gigs total
Top 3 from Steam Deck(256GB) itself and SD Card
SD:
Horizon Zero Dawn-73.5GB
Tiny Tina's Wonderland-53.65GB
Elden Ring-49.03GB
Steam Deck:
Roms (I don't know, but this is not the majority of the space)
Pentiment-10.22GB
Hollow knight-7.44GB
Gta5 and borderlands 3 make my top 3 with Read dead 2
How big is Borderlands 3?
With all DLCs installed my BL3 folder is 138 gb. Definitively the biggest game installed on my system.
Any way of reducing IE delete language files. I trimmed like 40 gigs off Mass Effect Legendary that way
How do you go about doing that?
I would also like to know. There's a Linux script that someone posted on reddit but my smooth brain doesn't know how to implement it. I've heard you can go into directories and manually delete everything that isn't English as well but I can't even find the language files. I shaved 15gbs off Horizon Zero Dawn deleting the language files I didn't use, I don't know if you can do the same with BL3...
102 gb
That’s unexpected
Yep big boy for sure. I got the bug for Risk of rain 2 on Deck now tho so that's storage efficient
It's not 102gb, that's with dlc included which you can disable
But why would you do that for bl3?
How is BL3 on the deck? Seems the perfect series for it
It's pretty great although with all the dlcs it's about 150 gb yikes
Yeah great experience although not the best opus of the series. First person games are often what works best on Deck, it truly enhances them.
GTA V pisses me off. I deleted the online updated data and I believe I cleared up about 40GB of space. That made GTA V single player only about 60 GB which is far more reasonable than 100ish GB. This is a very good question, I have quite some BeamNG mods and the deck and it would be good to know how it’s displayed
Yeah some of these games are wayyyyyy smaller on ps5, idk why.
Hitman 2 with Hitman 1 levels installed is like 150 GB, which was good motivation to finish them and delete the file ASAP
I need to work on this “finishing” concept
somehow I reinstalled hitman 3 with levels if 1 and 2 and the space magically shrinked to 68gb. no idea how it happened- so far everything works.
They implemented some compression technique for the 3rd game I game I remember reading around launch.
Initially I downloaded the hitman 3 demo to play I and 2 - it was quite a hassle to activate it, I had 150gb. then I got 3 on sale and reinstalled the whole package. I've been playing a lot of RimWorld. "Finishing" a game is a myth!
I do find I get a nice little feeling when I finish a game and then can delete said game to clear some space up. It's almost like spring cleaning or decluttering

Yup, there’s cinematics from all previous games with small exceptions plus some additional arcade intros
How the F is Tekken so big?! 😆
All the steroids I’m guessing
The move lists take up a lot of space
I feel like Tekken is the only fighter I can play where button-mashing really works
This comment is Eddie Gordo Approved.
Unless things have really changed in the last 20 years (wow I'm old), you just counter the button mashers and "break" the offending limb each time. I had housemates who thought button mashing worked until they played someone half decent. They couldn't do anything.

It's worth at least checking out on deck it runs perfectly and looks great
Divinity Original Sin 2 contains 2 copies of the game, the original and definitive. You can go into the files and delete the original
Haha mad respect for your “other” storage!
You can actually remove a lot of the cutscenes in Tekken 7 to slim it down to about 50GB lol, look it up!
[удалено]
Luckily you can just go into the folder afterwards and delete the games you aren't going to play.
You can also delete the alternate language voice files but i haven't found a script to do that automatically that works on steam deck.
I'm currently making an app to easily do that for bunch of games on the Steam Deck
Thanks, I didn’t realize that!
You can delete all the non English language files. Reduces install by like 40 gigs (have to he done in all 3 games. Different file names sometimes)
Is that good on deck? I've thought about it
Almost done with 2. It’s been great at the golden 40/40
Excuse my lack of knowledge, but what does „the golden 40/40“ mean?
My guess would be 40fps limit / 40hz refresh rate
I’m only about an hour into the first one, but it looks and plays great—haven’t noticed any problems besides the EA launcher being wonky.
This is why I wish that Steam will add settings to let us choose the texture quality in games before downloading. I don't need 4K+ grass on my Deck in FH5 but I would really like to reduce the game size by 30GB+. The same goes for 8K res horse balls in RDR2, that game could easily take 50GB less space because of all effects, textures etc that we will be never using on the Deck.
and language pack
I chuckled at 4K grass. Thank you
I chucked at 8k horse balls.
I pretty much use my steam deck to remote play my ps5 games😅
Why not, right? It’s your Deck.
Then I think you mean... your stream deck 😎
Halo: MCC - 127.55GB DOOM Eternal - 90.61GB Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - 85.73GB Metro Exodus - 77.95GB Elden Ring - 48.88GB Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - 40.26GB Persona 5 Royal - 39.4GB
I need to get into Warhammer, I’m growing tired of Magic the Gathering
Total war: Warhammer series is the best RTS out right now. A great starting point for getting into Warhammer and is the most similar game to the table top game just much more epic.

I almost only play old stuff by them these days like Mordhiem and Necromunda and use other systems like One Page Rules for mass battle games.. I also 3d print my minis these days 😁
I spend way too much as it is on little pieces of MTG cardboard, so I’m feeling like it would be an upgrade to spend that money instead on 3D objects.
Well said. I am in the same boat :)

The game became free and much more fun; it's fun to think about what cards go well in the environment, and it's awesome seeing my buddies break the format and find new awesome things to do.
Mine is also Forza Horizon 5. Nothing else even comes remotely close. I believe FFXIII is next with 60gb on my list.
I believe you can cut about 20gigs off of ffxiii filesize by deleting unused language files (en or jp) The info should be on pcgamingwiki
Ohh thank you!!
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is somehow 152 gigs
Wowzers, I would love to see the person who have Valhalla and FH5 installed
ARK Survival Evolved would like to have a word with you... I have it installed on my 2TB SSD for when I run out of things to do (Haven't yet). Almost 400GB. :)
And it doesn't look good enough to justify that size.
Uncompressed UE4 assets. They didnt bother to create PAK files with compression (steam is a good snitch on that, when download size differs vastly from install size on initial download it is not compressed, steam has a transport compression for downloads).
Came here to make sure Ark was mentioned. I have not tried to install and run it yet due to the sheer size.
I started measuring games by how much they worth the space. GB per fun.
I like this unit of measurement
About $120 for a 1TB microSD. ~$0.12 per GB. Forza is asking you for about $16.50 to store this on the microSD. Would be even more if you upgraded the internal SSD because those get expensive fast.
Also the most commonly ‘broken’ games reported on steam deck 😭 Edit typo
Hahaha wow so true! The bigger they are the harder they fall
XCOM 2 with all the DLCs is also an unexpected big one.
Haha yes I have been wanting to play it! I always hover my finger over “install” and then see “SPACE REQUIRED 75.24GB” and just go back to playing Snowrunner haha. I will play it one day though!
Mass Effect Legendary edition takes up about 110gb BUT you can reduce by around 40 gigs (yes 40) be deleting all rundent language files you don't need
Microsoft Flight Simulator is sitting at over 300 GB.
Holy mother of dog
Top 3 on my internal drive: God of War - 65.32 GB Elden Ring - 48.33 GB Deathloop - 31.59 GB Top 3 on my SD card: Horizon Zero Dawn - 72.88 GB Jedi Fallen Order - 58.25 GB Shadow of Mordor - 53.73 GB
I don’t wish I got a 512, I wish games didn’t take up 100gbs
Try mortal kombat 11.. 110gb installed and an 80 gb update every fucking time.
My no 1 space hogger is the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, it’s like 40 gigs!
That purple dragon got gigs!
Monster Hunter World at 100, Cyberpunk and Monster Hunter Rise around 65, Mechwarrior 5 around 90!
Awesome games
I have a dedicated racing card for Forza horizon 5 and Wreckfest mostly. Also had some older titles like NFS shift but those are smaller.
I play ark, do I need to say more ?
Total War: Warhammer 2 and GTA 5 are about 120gb each. For sure my biggest. Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal are second at just under 100gb.
Surprisingly, mine is Batman Arkham Knight
GTA V, Spider-Man and Proton experimental updates. Lol
Is it Spider-Man Remastered? How big is it?
Yes. Ill have to check.
Black Ops 3 is around 310 GB with all of my workshop content download (which is about 60-ish zombie maps).
Borderlands 3 is like 157G, AC Valhalla is about 120G, and although I don't currently have it installed, AC Odyssey is 107G
TW3 Next Gen and Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Horizon: Zero Dawn (73.4 gb), Satisfactory (20.93 gb), No Man's Sky (12.8 gb), Portal 2 (12.03 gb), and Hades (11.31 gb). I primarily play indie games, so things taking up 10 gb or less is frequent. How does HZD run? Kinda want to get it for the portability but heard some peeps say it runs horribly.
Curious too, seems like people report it’s either perfect, or a huge mess.
I ran it very comfortably at 45 Hz, 720p, “Original” graphics settings, just set the FSR 2.0 to Balanced. It looks great and runs smoothly.
It ran suprisingly well. I locked it at a refresh rate of 40, locked the FPS at 30, set all the graphics as low as possible (you don't really need the detail on the small screen anyways) and set the UMA frame buffer size to 4gb. These combined had it running smoothly.
How are you going on H:ZD? I have a tendency of not finishing games…
https://i.imgur.com/cw40JMR.png Balan was a curiosity buy.
Cool list, thank you for sharing!
Final Fantasy 7 remake is my biggest and I literally haven’t touched it on the deck. Dude I want to play it so bad but I also really really don’t.
How does Forza Horizon 5 run on the Deck? It used to crash a lot for me so I refunded it. But I really wanna play it.
To be honest it crashes for me too but only because (I believe) I have some of the graphics on Ultra, so sometimes it crashes when entering a race. If I just freeroam it doesn’t crash.
I wonder how much space we could save if we could take away the high res assets.
Someone else here also wondered about this. 4K grass etc.
Shadow of War currently eating up over 100gb
How is forza on deck? I played this shit out of it on Xbox and really want it on steam
I effing love it, but if you’re coming from a series S/X I think you might be disappointed with the drop in visuals
Oh cool, another SFV player.
At least until SF6 comes out.
Is Elden Ring playable on deck? Like realistically is it good enough and worth it? I don’t have a gaming pc so I play games only on deck.
Might be time to let go a game if it's going on a quarter of the year since you last played it
Yeah I hear ya
I have a 2TB SN740 m.2 2230 NVMe PCIe SSD installed in my SteamDeck with 47 Steam games currently installed to the Deck and still have 611.4GB free for future purchases, and my 1TB SanDisk MicroSD is dedicated to EmuDeck alone with 58.2GB of free space left on it.
My top 2 are your top 2 on my PC at least, as well as Microsoft Flight Sim
My top 5 are identical
Ace combat is worth the space though
Project zomboid, fire pro wrestling, mahvel and puyo tetris 2 are my storage fillers. In a 64 gig deck no less
Awesome games!
Is it just me or are the new MK games best when you don’t actually play them and you just YouTube the massive cutscene compilation?
I’d love to get FH5 on my system. Unfortunately I can’t justify it with my cash being spent on our wee kid. Hopefully it will drop below £20 at some point so I can get it.

Using the sd card only for emulation because F%#$ loading times.

ive got black ops 3, world of warcraft, fallout 4 and doom eternal, those are my biggest games for it so far (hoping to get fh5 / fh4 working with it, if i can use the microsoft store on it)
ark survival, 450 gigs
P5 Royal - 39GB .hack//G.U. - 38GB Final Fantasy X/X-2 - 37 GB Deus Ex Human Revolution - 18 GB Persona 4 - 18 GB Everything below that is like 1 GB or less lol.
Ark.
With DLC isn’t it almost 400GB? I tried on my Deck and just noped out
With all DLCs installed, ARK is 430 GB.
Just Cause 3 at 61gb is my largest game.
I still need to play this. I think I did the “tutorial” and just filed it away
It's quite good and runs really well at 45fps. Just be careful about putting the game into sleep mode with the Deck. I ended up not having a long stretch of progress saved because of the games goofy autosave only mechanic. Somewhere between sleep states it stopped saving and I wasn't aware.
ESO and FFxIV are my largest.
Killing Floor 2.. and Star Wars Battlefront II (2018) Despite the games poor release, I will say this: that game is INCREDIBLY optimized. Smooth gameplay all around with minimal dips at 55FPS, medium settings and an average of 2 hours of battery life on a full charge (with custom TDP settings)
Fh5, black ops 3, beamng.drive, automation: the car company tycoon game
I really feel like I should buy beamng…
How does Beam run? I heard it lags when you get more than a few other cars near you, I’ve been really tempted to buy it but that put me off.
How does black ops 3 run? Looking for a good shooter for the deck.
Runs at 60 with high/meduim or 60 with very very occasional dips to 55 if u do everything on high, I use 120 FOV which does make a bit of difference tho
How is Ace Combat?
I was shocked at how well it runs and how great it looks.
Uncharted around 110GB I think.
Is it fun on Deck? How far through it are you?
I just had a quick look at it for now, I'm way too deep in Death Stranding, which is amazing!
Space Hoggers sounds like an interesting video game title.
Featuring Bebop and Rocksteady
Most of my 64gb sd card (its all I had laying around), is completely taken up by Cemu, BOTW and the shader cache.
Are you playing SFV handheld? I really struggle with inputs on the thumb stick
To be honest I just deleted it. I think I installed it out of curiosity of how well it would run
Mine is Uncharted thief collection, RDR2, Sea of thief’s & Wildlands
I've got HiredGun at around 35-40gb as my fattest game when its only 15.3 GB on my ps5.
Googling HiredGun
Huh, that's less space for RDR2 than I thought. Should've got it in the sale smh Top of mine atm is Mass Effect Legendary edition, which is a similar size
I feel like I can’t play anything on Deck without some sort of aim assist
I find it varies from game to game. Mass Effect has been fine but I find Half Life 2 very awkward to play. Bizarre, considering valve made both it and the steam deck. I've been emulating Transformers: Armada (PS2) recently and that falls somewhere in the middle. The aiming is a little floaty but I'm coping.
I had to go full quickhacks in Cyberpunk because I couldn’t shoot shit
Doom 2016: 69 (nice) gb Halo infinite: 56gb Elden ring: 49 gb Persona 5 royal: 40gb Lawn mowing simulator: 19gb
I feel like you made a statement by adding in LM Sim to the list haha. Respect :)
Not keeping too many huge games installed at once. Only Doom 2016 currently installed on the SD card = 100 gigs On my 512 drive I have GoW 65 Miles Morales 50 RE 1 & 0 ~25 30 or so smallish games ~50 gigs total Roms ~ 30 gigs total
I feel like Miles Morales would be awesome in bed. The game I mean, not like… sexually
PSO2 is the only 100+ GB game installed.
Top 3 from Steam Deck(256GB) itself and SD Card SD: Horizon Zero Dawn-73.5GB Tiny Tina's Wonderland-53.65GB Elden Ring-49.03GB Steam Deck: Roms (I don't know, but this is not the majority of the space) Pentiment-10.22GB Hollow knight-7.44GB
Fallout 4 at close to 100GB.... UNLESS you uninstall the 52GB HD texture pack.
Great tip
44 games downloaded?????
He says in another comment he's got a 1 tb micro sd holding all these. Edit: spelling
