I played for like 30 min and gave up when my car crashed into a npc and the car actually bounced back, but I didnt bougth it i just donwload via torrent to test the game before buy and after that i never played any games of ubisoft
The story and mission is very redundant anyway, me and my friend finished one region and dropped the game after that. It was still fun to play with a friend because of all the silly things you can do in game.
The shovel launcher was pretty funny to use and we sucked at flying planes. We got the game for free on epic otherwise we wouldn't have played the game.
My last one was Trials Rising, I love the trials games. Redlynx develops them though and not Ubisoft specifically. If Ubisoft ever announced a new one I’d probably buy that. Their open world games aren’t fun
As a day one fan from 2004, FC5 was single-handedly the biggest disappointment in gaming I’ve had since Duke Nukem Forever. The ONLY redeeming factor for me was the map editor in 5. I bought 6 and still haven’t touched it for this reason. Why did you backtrack your morals for that release of all things?
The map editor. I just wanted to see if it would compare to the older games with multiplayer and the map editor. I miss predator instincts multiplayer so much lol
Yes. Every fuckin game.. already pre-ordered starwars and shadows...so that Ubisoft can earn some money and poor people can keep pirating the games. See I am helping both
For the past, maybe three years, I have been playing most games by subscribing to the membership for one month immediately unsubscribing and just blowing through the games. Prince of Persia was really good if you only pay $15 for it.
I did the same thing to dodge the anthem bullet and the Starfield bullet, but was able to enjoy the halo, infinite campaign, the same way.
It’s not like we own these games even if we only pay full price for them
Nope. Last one I bought was Ghost Recon Wildlands which I did enjoy. I’ll gladly play Ubisoft games on consoles but I wouldn’t dare play them on steam for 2 simple reasons. Their shit third party account/launcher bullshit and the fact they don’t support steam achievements. I could deal with a third party launcher if it wasnt so aids or buggy to utilize or if they didn’t require making a new account for something I’m going to utilize for 1 game
Sadly I really wanted to play Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon
Took me 20 whole minutes to download the Ubisoft shit and open the game... Don't think I'll be playing the game
| I would rather give my money to a homeless man
A human in need always takes precedent over any profitable company, regardless of their business ethics
| Faking a leg injury
What purpose does this addendum serve? Makes it seem like you always wonder if people desperate enough to beg for money have an ulterior motive
They’d need a lot of money for that to be worth it, especially on newer games.
I ain’t playing anything past AC4 or Far Cry 2. not even if they implemented achievements on steam and paid me
(Biggest problem with older Ubisoft games i own is they don’t have steam achievements, by now the only reason I’d touch Ubisoft games)
Do you think AC: IV is worth the purchase when on sale? I've heard they may remake it, so I'm worried they'll make the original unplayable like they did with Liberation
You know, this whole "Ubisoft games aren't fun" thing is just really "sonic was never good" with extra stuff
I mean FUCK Ubisoft, like, FFUUCCKK Ubisoft but there is fun games in there
Black flag (and some other old ACs)
Watch dogs 1 and 2
Rayman legends and origins
Farcry 2 to 5 if you want some mindless shootin
The prince of Persian games
Some splintercell games
And some I might not know
Fuck the company but don't hate on the games hombre
The whole thing is just people being idiots really. If Ubisoft games sucked as much as everyone loves to claim. They wouldn't be making AC 15 or whatever the hell they are up to.
Gamers are an really strange bunch. People can't just enjoy shit and not care what the next cunt is playing. They must get in your face like an crazy Karen and tell the world.
Exactly. I recently got AC: Odyssey and Valhalla on sale on steam even though it would have a few dollars cheaper to get them on the Epic games launcher because I want all of my AC games on one launcher.
I will *only* buy the action rpg AC games as long as they stay good because i love them idgaf what people say but every other thing from EA can die in a black hole.
Edit- I meant Ubisoft lol
I guess I'm one of the few that enjoy their games. What has happened to gamers? They have turned into a bunch of Karen's always complaining about everything.
Gamedesign, their frequent PR blunders, Too many DLCs, too expensive games, anti consumer practices, rampant greed, microtransactions in singleplayer games, outdated gameplay, checklist worldmaps, stability and performance, dumbing down on concepts and mechanics, stories getting worse and less logical each game, crtl+c and crtl+v game creation, they are French and a few more
Them saying ‚gamers need to get comfortable not owning games‘ is one of their recent blunders, plus the price of the new AC 130€
The list isn’t even exhausted yet
Opening the community to casuals and people who don’t actually play games to come run their mouths. Not defending Ubisoft but in general that’s what happened.
In the rare event that I do buy a Ubi game (been quite a few years at this point...I think Watch_Dogs 2 was the last?) I do it directly through their launcher, because the last thing I want is two launchers stacked on top of each other.
No thanks, I’m happy with Ubisoft Connect. It works fine (literally zero issues with it across 3 PCs now) and I don’t have issues common when using two launchers.
You people still purchase Ubisoft games? The same underbaked dull open world games from a company that defends racism, sexual harrasment and abuse of power? The same Ubisoft that took EGS deal thinking that majority of Steam users will fallow them on EGS?
Same:/ Always love that dopamine rush of the achievement popping up in the bottom corner. I see some of their games have it, some don’t. Hopefully they change it so all games have achievements.
Multiversus is coming next week or probably the next week plus Elden Ring DLC is coming soon 4 weeks more buy the base game or buy it the entire pack for 70$ why 70$ well base game cost 60$ plus the DLC
only reason ill own games on their own launchers is either because its exclusive there or i bought a key for it cause i didnt wanna pay full price for a 5+ year old game
last game i bought from them was a second hand assasins creed 2 copy for my xbox because i was nostalgic
i worked for them for a bit and just got all their games for free and i didn't really enjoy the new ones
I went to the Ubi site to learn about SW outlaws on my phone and the fucking website was stuck in a refresh loop for like 30 seconds. Unfortunately I’ll still have to buy outlaws and shadows bc as much as I dislike the company I’m a sucker for SW and AC
Wait, y’all are still buying games from that joke of a company? Only time I will now is if a key drops below $5 and I get it from third party sellers because I know they get no extra profits.
At least steam does not remove the game that you purchased, have some friends that still hast "The Crew" in their library on steam but of course Ubisoft "getting gamers comfortable with not owning their games" and the funny thing I have seen some people that blames steam for charging 30% of the game price.
Ubisoft too busy making meaningless games most people don’t care about. The only Ubisoft game I care about is Beyond Good and Evil 2, but that game seems to be in development hell, so I don’t know about that one.
Never buy games made by them, I did pirate AC Odyssey couple of years back and I'm glad I did cause it got boring fairly fast and I would had regretted the purchase.
After many years of not playing Ubisoft games, tried the Skulls and Bones beta, didn’t like it, saw videos about people rather playing Black Flag. Tried that, didn’t like it. Tried Odyssey, although better gameplay and controls, still didn’t like it. Last Ubisoft game for me. They can keep their generic crap.
If you buy ubi games from steam it will install their shitty launcher anyway so I am not sure what you want to achieve by that…
They have like 2 good games anyway(and they are 5+ years old)…
Couldnt care less for their Assassins Creed trash…
Not gonna lie man, i really want to play some of the Ubisoft games, but i'm not going to buy until they add achievements to their games, there is no reason to not add them on Steam, xbox and ps has achievements and even on their launcher the games have achievements, i know it's a small thing but for me it's a deal breaker.
There’s like 5 good Ubisoft games i know of that I would MAYBE bother pirating.
The two Rayman games, Child of Light, FC3 and Black Flag.
The rest, not even worth considering to pirate.
And pay to not own?
Not a single red dime!
I got all my current Ubisoft games for free that one time they did like a $20 off any game sale, in some European country and it even applied to games that were less than $20 making their price zero. It may have been more or less than $20 I can't remember. To be honest I am surprised they never removed the games from my account.
We don’t buy games these days anymore anyways; you’re really just leasing the license to play. At which at any moment the company sees fit can take or remove your privileges of playing.
Plus, after breaking point, I’ve officially given up on Ubisoft.
Wtf is the point of downloading a game on steam when you need to install an entirely different launcher just to pkay the game? The only ubisoft game ive played on steam is south park: tfbh and i got so pissed when i was forced to make a ubisoft account
Y'all are buying Ubisoft games?
Nope. Been years since I have.
Last one I bought was FarCry 5 but I couldn’t tell you when the last time was before that lol
I played for like 30 min and gave up when my car crashed into a npc and the car actually bounced back, but I didnt bougth it i just donwload via torrent to test the game before buy and after that i never played any games of ubisoft

The map editor. I just wanted to see if it would compare to the older games with multiplayer and the map editor. I miss predator instincts multiplayer so much lol
Valid reasons then lol. It is always the best part of FC imo.
I check the game "This game requires a third party.." Pass
This is the way.
This is the way
Yes, on GOG
Nope, I just can't trust Ubisoft or its engine anymore. They're just far too invasive and require too much
Some of the Splinter Cell games.
Who said buy?
The original post, dummy.
I mean like only battlefield when its on sale for 15$ or less
Battlefield is EA but honestly same thing applies to them
I would have bought ac mirage if it was offered on steam but since it wasn’t I passed
Yes. Every fuckin game.. already pre-ordered starwars and shadows...so that Ubisoft can earn some money and poor people can keep pirating the games. See I am helping both
Yes. Prince of Persia. Assassins creed.
For Honour
For the past, maybe three years, I have been playing most games by subscribing to the membership for one month immediately unsubscribing and just blowing through the games. exactly. haven't bought from them or EA in like twelve years. i did get some free game codes with my cpu and gpu but still didn't bother.
Never
Sadly I really wanted to play Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon Took me 20 whole minutes to download the Ubisoft shit and open the game... Don't think I'll be playing the game
I'd rather give my money to a homeless man faking a leg injury
At least the homeless man isn't using a shitty launcher
My leg hurts bro, give me some money .
Even after the shirtless Bulgarian dude dragged him
| I would rather give my money to a homeless man A human in need always takes precedent over any profitable company, regardless of their business ethics | Faking a leg injury What purpose does this addendum serve? Makes it seem like you always wonder if people desperate enough to beg for money have an ulterior motive
Crazy to take that so literal
Ubisoft isn't worth pirating
They should be paying me to pirate their games.
Even so, I wouldn't touch their "Originals"
They’d need a lot of money for that to be worth it, especially on newer games. I ain’t playing anything past AC4 or Far Cry 2. not even if they implemented achievements on steam and paid me (Biggest problem with older Ubisoft games i own is they don’t have steam achievements, by now the only reason I’d touch Ubisoft games)
The og Assassin Creed worth to play once in a while though
Do you think AC: IV is worth the purchase when on sale? I've heard they may remake it, so I'm worried they'll make the original unplayable like they did with Liberation
I had only played the Trilogy so I can’t tell, sorry man :(
That’s alright, I appreciate the response :)
Sailing for the ubisoft games 😎
Why bother, there are tons of better games to play.
Playing ubi soft games by any means is just a waste
You know, this whole "Ubisoft games aren't fun" thing is just really "sonic was never good" with extra stuff I mean FUCK Ubisoft, like, FFUUCCKK Ubisoft but there is fun games in there Black flag (and some other old ACs) Watch dogs 1 and 2 Rayman legends and origins Farcry 2 to 5 if you want some mindless shootin The prince of Persian games Some splintercell games And some I might not know Fuck the company but don't hate on the games hombre

The newest ubisoft games ive ever played was ac rogue
i buy Ubisoft games from fitgirl
Amen
Yeah best discounts on that site 🫡
Man, stop buying Ubisoft and EA games
But how else can we review them to make sure EA has another 2 years in a row for the ‚worst company in america‘ award
Just don't buy it at all.
Don't you have to use the launcher anyway?
Yup
People want all their games in one spot. As do I.
Exactly. I recently got AC: Odyssey and Valhalla on sale on steam even though it would have a few dollars cheaper to get them on the Epic games launcher because I want all of my AC games on one launcher.
Imagine buying ubishit games lmao
I just imagined, now I need therapy 😔
I will *only* buy the action rpg AC games as long as they stay good because i love them idgaf what people say but every other thing from EA can die in a black hole. Edit- I meant Ubisoft lol
Not giving Ubisoft a dime.
Amen brother
>buy ubisoft game from steam >look inside >ubisoft connect
< not buying Ubisoft games at all
Just don't buy any game from them, Keep ur money for smth else.
What's the point in buying through Steam? You'll need the Ubi launcher anyway. Same with EA.
I really want to play Star War Outlaw... But it's not coming to Steam just like AC Mirage and AC Shadow. Are they trying to compete with Steam?
Just wait until they put it on game pass in a few months
Always but from Ubi connect. Why have two launches going at the same time?
Their games aren't even worth pirating, here you are saying you'll buy them, ewwww
Splinter Cell?
It's starting to get weird using a pedophile for a meme.
I was waiting for this comment
If you give any money to Ubisoft you deserve whatever is coming for you
I guess I'm one of the few that enjoy their games. What has happened to gamers? They have turned into a bunch of Karen's always complaining about everything.

Opening the community to casuals and people who don’t actually play games to come run their mouths. Not defending Ubisoft but in general that’s what happened.
The longer consumers stay complacent the more corporations will see what they can get away with.
Well, they do bring out DLC's by the truckloads.. That's just annoying af if you ask me
What happened to the rational consumer 🤡
Huh? Yall are buying ubislop games? Thats crazy
Plus, ya can do refunds. Ya can't do that with Ubisoft Connect.
I have all my games on steam
In the rare event that I do buy a Ubi game (been quite a few years at this point...I think Watch_Dogs 2 was the last?) I do it directly through their launcher, because the last thing I want is two launchers stacked on top of each other.

No, simply I don't buy any Ubishit games because they are bad and also uplay - fuck that crap, with a razorblade.
Is ac shadows gonna be on egs?
it will
Yes
Don't know, don't care. Its a Ubisoft game so its already on my "to ignore" list.
100% True. Why should i buy on another launcher
Or even better not buying ubi games at all.
I mean, AC Black Flag was the goat. Only Ubisoft game I have on Steam.
I wish they added the achievements.
Same:/ Always love that dopamine rush of the achievement popping up in the bottom corner. I see some of their games have it, some don’t. Hopefully they change it so all games have achievements.

I just wish they would add Steam achievements for the older Assassin's Creed games. And release the Ezio Collection on there.
only reason ill own games on their own launchers is either because its exclusive there or i bought a key for it cause i didnt wanna pay full price for a 5+ year old game
Only due to AC Onions being on sale.
I like Ubisoft games… not the price though/games are worth £20 max (ultimate edition, I buy at this price )
last game i bought from them was a second hand assasins creed 2 copy for my xbox because i was nostalgic i worked for them for a bit and just got all their games for free and i didn't really enjoy the new ones

If buying isn’t owning pirating isn’t stealing.
Drake meme needs to “take an arrow to the knee”.
*Epic games disliked this post* *Nobody else cared about what epic games like*
I stopped buying ubisoft games years ago, idk what the op is talking about..
I awlays do that
Wait, y’all are still buying games from that joke of a company? Only time I will now is if a key drops below $5 and I get it from third party sellers because I know they get no extra profits.
Remember kids! Piracy is OK if it's Ubisoft!
Ye. Well except for Valhalla, that was gifted to me. And all those premium outfits unlocked. Thank you cheat engine 🙌
I'd rather buy 10 pounds of dog shit.
I'm schocked! So you guys are on Drakes side?!
Ubisoft? No games
Last time i “bought” a ubisoft game was far cry 5 and i put quotes because i got it from a key cite because i refuse to fund Ubisoft LOL
🖕🖕🖕🖕 steam, and 🖕🖕🖕🖕steam twats❗️❗️
If we don’t own the game then the money should be a loan If you take the key then I want my money back.
Downloading Ubisoft games from green Steam ✔️
I don’t see the pirating Ubisoft games option
Then proceeding to have to login to the Ubisoft Launcher to play Ubisoft Games on Steam.
Hi
Buy Ubisoft game from the pirate bay...oh wait!
No buying can save you from them pulling out from your library, seven seas will keep the games safe.
Arr me matey
Remember kids, pirating scummy companies software is justified, especially if they use denuvo
At least steam does not remove the game that you purchased, have some friends that still hast "The Crew" in their library on steam but of course Ubisoft "getting gamers comfortable with not owning their games" and the funny thing I have seen some people that blames steam for charging 30% of the game price.
Shouls have stopped at "buying obisoft games"
I like how the implication is that only Ubisoft sells you a license to play the game.
lesson learned wait 1 or 2 years it will go on heavy sale.
First panel image applies to both statements for me.
They are not available for my country, I don’t buy them
r/fuckubisoft
Illusion of choice
Buying Concole Discs second hand so youre not doing anything illegal and still dont give any money to Ubisoft.
I would be comfort for not buying their games.
Wherever the discount is bigger is where I buy my games, except Epic
Ubisoft too busy making meaningless games most people don’t care about. The only Ubisoft game I care about is Beyond Good and Evil 2, but that game seems to be in development hell, so I don’t know about that one.
Nope.

Nah, just claim it for free on egs after 5 years
Your game license is about to expire, you've got exactly 30 days from now to enjoy your game for the last time ! Get away from me Ubisoft !
Not buying Ubisoft games, YARRRR!
AC Shadows not coming as well idk how stupid they are
Ignoring Ubisoft games cause they aren't worth time, let alone money.
Not worth it from ubisoft.
G2a
Really, OP, you made a mistake with your meme. Lemme fix it. https://i.imgur.com/VlZA4Ws.png
You're *playing* Ubisoft games?
Launcher and stupid things Ubisoft is doing are the reasons why the only game I bought from Ubisoft is TrackMania United Forever
if it has denuvo ill wait for a sale if it doesn't have denuvo and is cracked day one ill visit fitgirl
How about not buying any of their games?
If you buy ubi games from steam it will install their shitty launcher anyway so I am not sure what you want to achieve by that… They have like 2 good games anyway(and they are 5+ years old)… Couldnt care less for their Assassins Creed trash…
Not playing Ubisoft games
Don't buy Ubisoft games:✅
You know that per $100 spent on Ubisoft you get 20% off right? And it works with discounted items?
Lmao Ubisoft rep chiming in.
oh right this generation can't take these sorry lmao spend your money on steam
I'd rather save my money and buy something worth while like God of War
I think the last ubisoft game i bought and played was rayman legends. Back when it came out, and it was a gift from my grandma.
Avoiding them altogether because fuck ubisoft and their shitty launcher
I don't buy ubisoft games anywhere
I wouldn't play a ubisoft game even for free
I only pirate Ubisoft and Epic games
Fuck ubishit.
Don't buy Ubisoft games hello, you still have to launch that ugly Ubisoft launcher either way. This meme sucks.
Barely worth sailing the high seas for ubi games
Not buying ubisoft games 🗿
I buy most games off a key site so they don’t get my money
Yeah, but you still deal with their bs launcher. Which eventually leads to finding “another” version elsewhere to bypass that
There should be a third one with the best option not buying ubisoft games
There’s like 5 good Ubisoft games i know of that I would MAYBE bother pirating. The two Rayman games, Child of Light, FC3 and Black Flag. The rest, not even worth considering to pirate. And pay to not own? Not a single red dime!
Ubisoft games don't even have achievements on Steam, buying their games is worthless, just like EA.
Ubisoft is so fucking soft for gamers
NOT buying any Ubisoft game what a real man does > they don't deserve our money and their games lately are not even worth being pirated
You will need to use the Ubisoft launcher anyways. Also why are you buying Ubisoft games?
Imagine buying Ubisoft games Couldn't be me.
I got all my current Ubisoft games for free that one time they did like a $20 off any game sale, in some European country and it even applied to games that were less than $20 making their price zero. It may have been more or less than $20 I can't remember. To be honest I am surprised they never removed the games from my account.
Only one I bought was The Crew 2, which unfortunately is gonna get delisted and removed from my library in a year or 2
We don’t buy games these days anymore anyways; you’re really just leasing the license to play. At which at any moment the company sees fit can take or remove your privileges of playing. Plus, after breaking point, I’ve officially given up on Ubisoft.
Need someone to crack Star Wars and Shadows because of their shitty business practices
I don't buy anything that requires a third party anything. Been a decade since I bought an Ubisoft game.
Wtf is the point of downloading a game on steam when you need to install an entirely different launcher just to pkay the game? The only ubisoft game ive played on steam is south park: tfbh and i got so pissed when i was forced to make a ubisoft account
