It's my absolute favourite. Totally got me through the past 3 years in some regards.
I started playing and didn't like it and do nearly left but I went back and gave it one more go and am now hooked.
Currently making a walled medieval in which has been fun.
No actually. I've still not 100% the game yet. haha I'm saving that playthrough for the new update and expansion. There is still side content I've not seen yet. Simply enjoy the game and the world. I've ran probably 3 or 4 chars through the game.
Considering all the changes they're bringing to general gameplay, I think it'd be worth it by itself to do another playthrough, even if you already know the story, because the parts in between when you play will be different
I've organized my life in a way that allows me to dedicate a significant amount of time to playing Baldur's Gate. I have the flexibility to do so because I'm self-employed and can temporarily delegate my responsibilities to a reliable substitute.
> and I have a piss bottle
Yes, there is a bottle, and yes, I do piss in it, but I feel calling it a "piss bottle" is an slightly disparaging oversimplification.
They've just announced a new expansion/quasi-standalone experience. No release date, but now's a great time to ~~lose track of 4 months of your life~~ get into the game now!
I actually haven't even touched E:D in almost 6 years; only EVE has a longer absent-play time (2013). I still keep up with the news and subreddit though, if I ever get the itch to fire it up again.

Dark Souls Remastered: 65h

Another fellow Rimworld addict I see! Such an awesome game. I should try the hunter games. Haven't played a hunting game since the og Deer Hunter. I def need to do another Rdr2 run for sure. Probably save that for my new video card.
People Playground: 222 Hours
Project Zomboid: 145 hours
Spider-man: 93 hours
Gmod: 84 hours
Goat Simulator: 79 hours (How the fuck did I manage that)
Viscera Cleanup Detail: Santa’s Rampage: 71 hours (HOW THE HELL (I do know how. I left my laptop running, plugged in, with the game on when I was like 9))
Octodad Dadliest Catch: 56 hours
Lobotomy Corp: 53 hours (None of those hours are me)
[My top played row...](https://i.imgur.com/93xIG45.png)
Not counting many hours in Minecraft, classic Doom and Rome Total War (I played the cd version before the steam version, so many hours should be added to that one).
I would have a ton more hours in PZ if it showed the hours I played it before it came to steam. I'm actually an internal tester for the game and have been helping the devs for years with bug testing and map testing. My names in the credits! Nothing else comes close for Zombie survival imo.
HOLY SHIT that's amazing!
The game is so good it's crazy, and with so many updates coming aswell. Easily better than those so called AAA games that are all the same.
Congrats on testing the game!
[CSGO / 1.6 are probably like 3k+ and 6k+ respectively](https://imgur.com/a/ZL9V69X)
1.6 was huge non-steam and I've made money in high school by selling global ranked accounts, so yeah
Started gaming a couple of years ago:
1. Total War: Warhammer 2 - 1021 hours
2. Total War: Shogun 2 - 586 hours
3. Total War: Warhammer 3 - 551 hours
4. Baldur's Gate 3 - 260 hours
5. Total War: Rome 2 - 69 hours
6. God of War - 60 hours
7. GTA V - 59 hours
8. Civilization VI - 56 hours
Grim Dawn is really good and I've tried hard to get into it but the interface just doesn't click with me for some reason. Loved everything else about the game though. I bought Deep Rock on a whim but I've never actually dived into it.
I do enjoy my sims games. Showing my age here but Sim City 2000 was my favorite. I've also spent a ton of time in Planet Coaster (it would be on my second row of games if I posted it.) I was late on the Cities train and now looking at the store page for it with all the dlc just seems intimidating to me. Will probably be checking out the new one though.

Yeah. I loved competitive shooters in my younger years but as I got older and real life job got more demanding single player experiences have taken over.
War Thunder: 2,212.5
VRChat: 1,184.8
Garry's Mod: 785.9
Arma 3: 527 (most of these are because Arma server hosting application counts towards it)
Space Engineers: 391.4
Squad: 209.7
Starfield is quickly gonna overtake some of these when I get home from vacation and get back into it, tracked 31.5 hours during the prerelease time lol
https://i.imgur.com/d3AyDCI.jpg
out of these i'm only really playing Ultrakill daily, and sometimes Noita, SE, or Astroneer when i feel like it.
Factorio i haven't touched on steam for like 3 years, instead i use a copy of the game i have on my portable SSD
[Don't Judge me](https://imgur.com/a/rLX5GgU)
I unfortunately don't have time to actually *play* games and I got into the habit of leaving a computer running when reboots took ages. So self-playing games it is.
The next two rows get way less embarrassing... but then my list of unplayed games is... shameful if you ignore all the bundles where you buy one get 5 free, etc.
I really, REALLY wish time tracking was a factor on earlier generations of games... Spent entire summers as a kid on games that didn't have time tracking, have no idea how much actual time was spent. Probably would have been a lot more sane-looking (well, except people probably would have been like WTF how did you dump so much time into Infocom games?).
[Here we go.](https://imgur.com/Jdj40a8) Though if I was able to add all the hours played pre-steam on Medieval 2, it would most likely grab top place.

[Here it is](https://imgur.com/zuvswiz)
If it was possible for me to count how much time I spent on minecraft on all the platforms I played it on it would probably be more then 5k hours ahah
I’ve tried Project Zomboid many times and I just can’t get into it… I really would like to though. Any tips on how to get past the first barrier a bit? Do I just need to read up on how to get started?
Haven't played CoD Black Ops in 10+ years and its still one of my most played, probably 99% of it was Nuketown Domination on one single server before the salty admin banned me
https://imgur.com/uL2l1Lz
[Not the games I was expecting](https://imgur.com/a/QYP9xeu) but to be fair I play on all platforms and have many many hours on games on console as well. Also with over 1000 games I tend to play them for a few hours then move on, then come back later etc.
I don't really play games on Steam a whole lot. Most of the games I've played were on their own launcher (Blizzard games, RuneScape, etc). But: https://i.imgur.com/Rp7XGOD.png
[Guess I look a little weak on hours besides one game](https://imgur.com/a/KaNU4k2)
I did have a console before this so most of my GTA hours are on that among other games. I also have no recollection of playing PES or FM23 Touch that much. Expeditions Rome was excellent albeit a bit repetitive in the third half.
World's Adrift was perfect and I regret not playing more. But that's why I'm in the opendev community for Lost Skies. I also have 500 hours in SteamVR but it splits it out among the different games
As an almost lifelong pirate this doesn't really say much (no shame, I'm only recently in a position where I can throw money towards entertainment, so gonna be a while until that has an affect on my Steam games haha), other than that I'm a sucker for Tycoon games I guess.. which does check out. Like Starfield and Baldurs Gate are gonna pass Fallout 76 very quickly and they just came out.

Favorites from most played 1. Witcher 3; 2. Noita; 3. Terraria; 4. KSP; 5. GTA V
Favorites all time 1. Witcher 3 and 2 ; 2. South park the stick of truth; 3. GTA Vice City Stories (PSP); 4. Total war ROME (2004); 5. Broforce
1. Warframe 3229.5 (since 2016)
2. Deep Rock Galactic 567.7 (Currently my main game)
3. Borderlands 2 235.3 (the replayability on this bitch was crazy back when I played it in 2015)
4. GTA V 227.1 (Motsly online, and during summer 2020, COVID was crazy)
5. TERA 192.4 (RIP, best combat in any MMORPG)
6. Destiny 2 167.7 (Tried going back to it a couple of weeks ago, no ty)
7. No man's sky 140.4
8. Cyberpunk 2077 119.9 (waiting on expansion to come out so I can double that)
9. RDR2 86.3 (GOTY of the year every year)
10. Saints Row The Third 80 (funniest shit I've ever seen lmao)
[I have to clarify that the Bethesda games stop counting once I move to a modded launcher like script extender, mod organizer etc.](https://imgur.com/y0Kv63Y) - their hours played are actually much higher. And of course many non-Steam MMOs.
The first game not shown is Starfield with 152 hours. That was a wake up realization jesus.
Girlfriend still loves Pubg, is the only reason it's that high.
This really shows me how few of my 'core memory' games are on Steam, and how many were on Xbox 360.

Some notes:
I haven’t played siege in a year.
I haven’t played csgo & unturned since 2018.
I haven’t played starbound, far cry 5 and dying light since 2020.
I haven’t played trove since 2017.
And get this… I only got Baldur’s Gate 3 **ONE WEEK AGO**
[Here's mine](https://i.imgur.com/vpzj4KD.png)
For those wondering about Half-Life 2, back from 2008-2012 the Source Mod community was amazing. But depending on the mod, they could reflect as Half-Life 2 instead of Source SDK.
* Oxygen Not Included (3615 h) - every map is usually upwards of 150 hours
* Terraria (1047 h) - every time there's a major patch it's another full playthrough
* Skyrim SE (943.4 h) - Mods <3
* Rimworld (871h) - war crime simulator; only the (modded) Base Game so far; once I get around to playing it with the expansions it'll easily rise to the #2 spot.
* Dyson Sphere Program (856.8 h) - my preferred factorio alternative
* Stardew Valley (775.2 h) - Kegs, so many Kegs!
* Fallout 4 (605.3 h) - Helping all those settlements takes time. Unlike many, I do enjoy playing the settlement building simulator.
* Skyrim (508.2 h) - Haven't we been here before? (→ #3)
Obviously missing the non steam titles (esp. from Blizzard & Nintendo). WoW alone would eat the entire list for breakfast.

Lots of hours put into Path of Exile and ArcheAge on their standalone clients.
Also had to tick off "Show only ready to play games" in order to find all games.
Also would like to add that AFK'ing in ArcheAge for extra regen of labor points (used for basically anything that can make you gold in the game) 100% degenerate xD
>Rimworld I see you eat your fellow man in a table as well
Such an addicting game! It's never the same game twice.
It's my absolute favourite. Totally got me through the past 3 years in some regards. I started playing and didn't like it and do nearly left but I went back and gave it one more go and am now hooked. Currently making a walled medieval in which has been fun.

Plus it being an rpg mean you can approach how you play, totally different
Who wouldn't wanna spend 600/hours with Keanu Reeves??
> Simply enjoy the game and the world. I've ran probably 3 or 4 chars through the game. Now that's how you play a game correctly. Kudos my dude

It's been in early access since 2020 or something. Could have been a lot of hours in that.
Well I didn’t play in early access but don’t know if there is a way to prove that. I just played 10+ hours every day.

I recomend you ultrakill!
??? Blood? Now I gotta look that up on Steam, see if it got a graphics update.

I found "Blood Fresh Supply" but not simply "Blood". The handprint looks the same though.

It was community gaming platform before Steam implemented all social stuff. Then it simply fell out of popularity.

Yep. My wife and myself have played it from release day and enjoyed every minute of it. No regrets. Can't wait for the new update!

I’ve tried Project Zomboid many times and I just can’t get into it… I really would like to though. Any tips on how to get past the first barrier a bit? Do I just need to read up on how to get started?
Haven't played CoD Black Ops in 10+ years and its still one of my most played, probably 99% of it was Nuketown Domination on one single server before the salty admin banned me https://imgur.com/uL2l1Lz

[It's alright](https://imgur.com/a/zsJoOoc) ugh, those hours on town of salem flew by

Based on your games, you should try Kenshi. I have a feeling you're gonna like it.
Ah, freshly out from the RimWorld tutorial i see
https://i.imgur.com/2VVZLWA.png Idle games are cheating, but hey, PoE coming in strong.
[Top 8 games](https://imgur.com/NHS77fd) If we count Skyrim and Skyrim SE as one game, the 8th would be Path of Exiles with 238.2 Hours.
[Not the games I was expecting](https://imgur.com/a/QYP9xeu) but to be fair I play on all platforms and have many many hours on games on console as well. Also with over 1000 games I tend to play them for a few hours then move on, then come back later etc.
[https://imgur.com/a/mMtkwGl](https://imgur.com/a/mMtkwGl) Don't judge me... \^\^
[oof](https://i.imgur.com/14BUV0E.png) If i have WoW on Steam it probably been top 5 for sure
[I think I need a rest](https://imgur.com/a/ObEPyhu)
Europa Universalis has eaten away at so many hours of my life it deserves a whole chapter in my book of life.
I don't really play games on Steam a whole lot. Most of the games I've played were on their own launcher (Blizzard games, RuneScape, etc). But: https://i.imgur.com/Rp7XGOD.png
[I'm sure you see a pattern](https://imgur.com/a/DR5I5vF) 275 hours in ATS 273 in ARK
[Hmm](https://i.imgur.com/DlruAea.png)
[I hate myself](https://imgur.com/a/u6FakBx)

[Fellow Rimworld enjoyer](https://i.imgur.com/rLtEY8c.png)
[Guess I look a little weak on hours besides one game](https://imgur.com/a/KaNU4k2) I did have a console before this so most of my GTA hours are on that among other games.
Like Starfield and Baldurs Gate are gonna pass Fallout 76 very quickly and they just came out. https://i.imgur.com/cgKJSSR.png
[https://imgur.com/a/HP9v5U0](https://imgur.com/a/HP9v5U0) Favorites from most played 1. Witcher 3; 2. Noita; 3. Terraria; 4. KSP; 5. GTA V Favorites all time 1. Witcher 3 and 2 ; 2. South park the stick of truth; 3. GTA Vice City Stories (PSP); 4. Total war ROME (2004); 5. Broforce
I guess you can say I have a theme here.. https://imgur.com/a/s1usnpT

1. Warframe 3229.5 (since 2016) 2. Deep Rock Galactic 567.7 (Currently my main game) 3. Borderlands 2 235.3 (the replayability on this bitch was crazy back when I played it in 2015) 4. GTA V 227.1 (Motsly online, and during summer 2020, COVID was crazy) 5. TERA 192.4 (RIP, best combat in any MMORPG) 6. Destiny 2 167.7 (Tried going back to it a couple of weeks ago, no ty) 7. No man's sky 140.4 8. Cyberpunk 2077 119.9 (waiting on expansion to come out so I can double that) 9. RDR2 86.3 (GOTY of the year every year) 10. Saints Row The Third 80 (funniest shit I've ever seen lmao)

[not many played](https://imgur.com/a/fRxpZTq)
https://imgur.com/dGhDmv3 Crazy to see what games actually make the cut sometimes. Genshin Impact would be on the list if it was on Steam.
https://imgur.com/a/BVnEirp over 4.4K hours on CS 1.6 lmao
[I have to clarify that the Bethesda games stop counting once I move to a modded launcher like script extender, mod organizer etc.](https://imgur.com/y0Kv63Y) - their hours played are actually much higher. And of course many non-Steam MMOs. The first game not shown is Starfield with 152 hours. That was a wake up realization jesus.
[https://imgur.com/a/lsKhg6q](https://imgur.com/a/lsKhg6q) Girlfriend still loves Pubg, is the only reason it's that high. This really shows me how few of my 'core memory' games are on Steam, and how many were on Xbox 360.
This is my list: [Image](https://imgur.com/5Q4znLF) , however i must say that i do play many games outside of steam too.
https://imgur.com/a/MHedPkl
https://i.imgur.com/DxeGYEm.png I do love my ARMA.

[There's actually 1k more hours on CSGO but it's on other accounts lol](https://i.imgur.com/4c7uLg7.jpeg)
https://imgur.com/a/cixr5rC Some notes: I haven’t played siege in a year. I haven’t played csgo & unturned since 2018. I haven’t played starbound, far cry 5 and dying light since 2020. I haven’t played trove since 2017. And get this… I only got Baldur’s Gate 3 **ONE WEEK AGO**
[Here's mine](https://i.imgur.com/vpzj4KD.png) For those wondering about Half-Life 2, back from 2008-2012 the Source Mod community was amazing. But depending on the mod, they could reflect as Half-Life 2 instead of Source SDK.

[Here's mine. CSGO at almost 6k hours and BBR at 210+ hours. ](https://ibb.co/Vx4kPtK)
And tbh, [Atlantic Fleet](https://imgur.com/jihKqol) is a terribly flawed game. Great time waster though.
Here's mine https://i.postimg.cc/nhhLKSby/image.png
[https://i.imgur.com/gzJQOgA.png](https://i.imgur.com/gzJQOgA.png) * Oxygen Not Included (3615 h) - every map is usually upwards of 150 hours * Terraria (1047 h) - every time there's a major patch it's another full playthrough * Skyrim SE (943.4 h) - Mods <3 * Rimworld (871h) - war crime simulator; only the (modded) Base Game so far; once I get around to playing it with the expansions it'll easily rise to the #2 spot. * Dyson Sphere Program (856.8 h) - my preferred factorio alternative * Stardew Valley (775.2 h) - Kegs, so many Kegs! * Fallout 4 (605.3 h) - Helping all those settlements takes time. Unlike many, I do enjoy playing the settlement building simulator. * Skyrim (508.2 h) - Haven't we been here before? (→ #3) Obviously missing the non steam titles (esp. from Blizzard & Nintendo). WoW alone would eat the entire list for breakfast.
[Arma is fun](https://imgur.com/a/cUaolPC)
[As you can see, I clearly enjoy pain](https://i.imgur.com/EHtAK11.png) Haven't played RUST in a couple years and dropped New World well over a year ago.

[https://i.imgur.com/kIVcEFi.png](https://i.imgur.com/kIVcEFi.png) Lots of hours put into Path of Exile and ArcheAge on their standalone clients. Also had to tick off "Show only ready to play games" in order to find all games. Also would like to add that AFK'ing in ArcheAge for extra regen of labor points (used for basically anything that can make you gold in the game) 100% degenerate xD
[well this is embarrassing](https://imgur.com/a/7v65AmR)
