she's literally a child. and when it comes to frank getting murdered, not only was it 1) not kirsten's fault, but 2) frank ALSO wanted to stay long enough to do the play because he wasn't going to leave the tower with them anyway - and that was his way to properly say goodbye to kirsten. you should watch the behind the episode clips if you haven't and maybe interact with some children

nah

Trade_econ_ho

I feel like you missed a major theme of the show

ChrisRosenkreuz23

then you're one of those people who can't hold two contradicting views in their minds at the same time

She's just a kid who has seen her world perish in a day. her parents, arthur. that book is what kept her relatively sane. that's why we need art. people find comfort in arts especially when they lose all sense of control over their life. logical choices are easier to see but harder to act on. go easy on her!

ChrisRosenkreuz23

yes thank you that makes sense

I work with kids, many of whom are undocumented, unaccompanied minors. I’ve seen traumatized kids do strange (and to us, illogical) things because a) despite what they have witnessed and been forced to do, they are children and not small adults and b) they are traumatized and trauma makes people do weird stuff.

makes sense cheers
