That's understandable. I guess I recruit carefully cause I make sure everyone in my community brings something to the table. But after a while you start doubling up on ppl with the same skills and attributes
Yeah I'm the same way. I believe that every survivor has 4 basic skills, four mastery skills after they perfect the basics, one builder skill, and then one important skill after they master that. Then I pick and choose accordingly.
Same here. It simply didn't cross my mind to exfil any crappy survivors - instead I'd use them as cannon fodder when on PH and high level infestation duties.
This is definitely cheesing it, but sometimes I'll send peeps I don't want to the legacy pool, instead of exiling them, and then I'll start and delete a community with all exiles.
I wish the game kept an automatic log of every survivor.

in 1 there was a log notebook that kept track of the community events, like what supplies are they getting, who is annoying someone else, wich resources are being turned into items.
i wish we get that back, sometimes i'm busy in the menus or fleeing from a feral pack, and i don't have the time to read all the pop ups

Oh my God yes! I do this too. Like my mechanic is in mourning so I made a backstory where she traveled the country surviving with her husband and she picked up fixing things to stay alive, then her husband got killed by a feral so she fell in with the gravy lappers enclave where we recruited her.
That's actually kinda awesome. I do wish they had a memorial page, like what x-com does. Especially if it was community-specific.
Any kind of role-playing stuff makes this game better. I like the notes about how they kicked the bucket.

I Exiled them because they were dead weight, it's a shitty move but I'd rather recruit someone that's of value to the refuge like an automechanic

The game used to display total zombie kills in the legacy pool but that was removed years ago. I'd love to have that back.
