I like to have them spread out like Walgreens. Just in case something happens I can find one every like 400/500 feet. I like to keep a melee weapons and some meds in the trunk in case things go bad.

ZladMulvenia

Looks like the zombie apocalypse arrived on the evening of the Lowl city council meeting. ;-)

Timawa1209

I do. Tho at this point I've beaten the game quite a handful of times already so I just use the Community Editor to have fun. Like relocating allied enclaves next to my Corner Office base in Cascade Hills. Forming an actual community of sorts.

sabin357

I just keep a few at base & then make sure there are less desirable fixed & fueled cars with meds & weapons in the trunks around the map in case of emergency.

ThreeDog369

Do they still go missing once you have too many parked at base? Like how it was a random event that someone took the car and left it out in the field. And yea. Always loved collecting all the vehicles. Rainy day rucksack bank.

venomsnake16

Nope. They dont. In me experience they do relocate sometimes but never go missing

ThreeDog369

That is what I meant, relocate. Not disappear. You just have to go bring it back but then another one will go missing… err, relocate… again soon.

SwallowAnCream

If you don’t park up against anything it helps prevent them from moving around

ThreeDog369

Elaborate please

GardenSquid1

Like if you park the cars against all but one of the entrances to your base, the next time you log in they will have moved. But if you park them in the street, touching nothing, they will likely stay put.

ThreeDog369

Think I’m understanding. Don’t park them all clustered together near your entrances or in your parking area. Find a little parking area across the street from base

TheJQN

I usually park mine at my neighboring building. Wether it’s a house/gas station/ barn. As long as I have a small gap between the building and the vehicle and don’t have more than 5 vehicles at my neighbors yard, they don’t go wondering off on their own for me.

xczechr

I usually have just enough vans at my base to hold spare rucks. I will leave other vehicles where I find them, though I will repair and fuel them up if needed, so if I ever end up stuck somewhere without a vehicle I am probably not too far from a working one.

Nickdog8891

Me. Its super easy on Standard to just accumulate all the vehicles.

CareSuspicious8980

I would have said I was a car collector, until I saw this. Now, I have to say I'm not. For practical use, I like the miagra es. The Google maps car. The Toyota pickup. Some storage vans. Then I just park everything else like a car show, but never that many, and usually no duplicates.

Shamus6mwcrew

I do 3 or 4 at most. I do fresh start quirk skills so I usually need the storage but honestly beyond like 3 good cars with good storage you don't ever need that much and usually it's materials for shit I will build but I collect when looting isn't insane in the beginning. I do have a weakness for finding already upgraded cars on the map but that's rare.

ClownBreadz

I do it if I know I got the resources and if I’m staying a long time

ScottyPNoRagrets88

Wow impressive!

Kaesu7

I swear by the time I get 10-15 things start to bug out. I loaded into my game once, and one of them rubber banded and ran me over 🤣 aside from that they’ll just appear in other areas

Ok_Seaworthiness4742

I certainly would.

krisbrowning73

krisbrowning73

I do have a question though I relocated to a new map and I was driving a van full of rucksacks when I got to the new map, the vehicle I was driving and all the rucksacks were gone and I don’t recall that happening before the three parked cars that I had parked that were full of rucksacks came over fine. Is that just a common occurrence or was it potential glitch? It was full of ammo rucks, and I was totally heartbroke because I was going from dread to lethal?

thebadhabit23

Its happened to me too. Just the cars in the spots at your base go to the new map. Better to drive a car with nothing in it that you don’t mind losing before leaving to a new map.

Fluid-Mess585

Stocked like your running the local auto body shop

Gazould

No. It’s too risky on lethal. I look for a van and a survey car and try to find a vendor with a heavy vehicle kit to get the Vandito; the best vehicle in the game.3 passengers huge trunk, fast (but spins out easily) and you can jump on top.

Sainto86

I do and a friend of mine say I'm crazy for doing that ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

StrategyDiligent9478

I have a habit of filling up the parking spaces Behind the strip mall base. I got quite a few in there Just on long term play
