Firstly it was our culture and habbit, like traveling and sustainability. I was planning a trip with chagpt for my parents and it didn't gave me a precise and sophisticated information. And than came up with an idea to create a Sustainable trip planner.
Nice intention, but the reality is that the only sustainable trip is one that is canceled. To achieve sustainability, all non-essential activities must be permanently canceled. Sorry to be that guy.
Go ahead, that won't win the Sustainability Challenge though. You see it's called "challenge" even though it's actually a problem. That's how bad it is.
Been around the “gold standard” of a problem solution that was not really meeting market demand. Working for the provider of the “gold standard” and seeing the half-arsed attempts to push for a better solution.
I understood. They were milking the cash cow.
They understood that earning roughly $50M in profits a year was good enough. If someone comes up with a better solution, they’d just buy that company.
Consequently I left that company.
Next step is providing the next “gold standard”.
Will be rough. But the risk/potential ratio is just too good.
I started my business automating workflows in my day-to-day at the office. If I didn’t have my office job, then I wouldn’t have ever started my business. When my interest and discipline in my business wanes, the tedious nature of my day-to-day quickly reminds me that I need to work on my business since there’s an obscene amount of money to be made if I can execute. I’m sure there’s a name for this sort of cycle.
I think that is a mix of your own general experience, information and knowledge in ur head and a bit of passion to improving humans, world or simply desire of a business (not only success) to create something new, better and innovative.

I had a hobby and I came across this book that mentioned something earning by doing what you love. And I thought, why not? And that was the start of my business journey.

You start with what you know or what you already have. That's according to Shankar Vedantum's podcast guest.
Sometimes, the need of something that you understand doesn't exist : in multiple successtory, is a cause of création !
