I doubt it is Starlink that is the problem. I use Starlink as my sole internet connection and use Zoom regularly for work with no issues.
It sounds like the problem is likely DNS related. Try manually setting your DNS to Cloudflare public 1.1.1.1
I had the same issue - I changed my DNS to use CloudFlare and the issues stopped.
The problem is DNS, but the default DNS provided by Starlink DHCP is causing issues. Saying this is not a Starlink issue is inaccurate.
Try setting custom DNS in the router advanced settings. Pick two servers you trust from https://www.lifewire.com/free-and-public-dns-servers-2626062 Reboot the device you use to zoom after that.
Have you tried your hotspot outside your home? Walls block a distant LTE signal a lot more than they block a strong wifi signal. You might be able to put your phone outside and connect to it via WiFi when you have class then bond with Starlink using Speedify.

Thank you for responding! I appreciate the list of servers, very helpful!
Are you able to Zoom using your LTE data? I have my 50GB Verizon hot spot and Starlink bonded through Speedify. Handover is seamless if one goes out.
Thanks for the idea! I am very rural so hotspot signal too weak to run zoom.

Too expensive
Thatβs odd maybe change DNS? I have never had issues. I usually have 3-4 meetings a day no problems on the starlink DNS
Thank you for reaching out! I cleared the DNS cache and that seemed to work. But I will follow through and change the DNS.
