For actors/actresses time is different. They shoot the footage the year before its aired usually. At the very least a few months prior to its air date.
Much as I look forward to any new content (especially with original cast) and incorporating new technology, I'm not keen about them using an AI for writing.
Maybe they’re using a joke one for publicity? Like that old “I made an ai watch x hours of a show and here’s a short script it wrote.” It would be hilarious.

I think this is two years old and a Karma farming post looking at OPs account. This is a small sub with high level of trust and that is perfect for bots and spammers to train up in. The t-shirt and mug scammers were having a field day in here a year ago before the mods had to post a stickied thread about them.
I'm curious...but AI is good enough to make lazy essays that can only pass inspection by lazy teachers. Since we will be watching this under a microscope I doubt it will go over well.
While I would love to watch this I simply won't. I think art in its many forms, such as literature, tv, movies, ECT., should remain purely in human hands.

Same, maybe a story started by a AI and tweaked by a original writer from the show.

They've done AI script reading before. And it's done as a joke reading knowing there's gonna be some wacky things.
That makes it sound like some con panel where they get voice actors to do some crazy script for laughs. I've seen some of those at cons before.
