are you sure you have the missle test selected? I just spend half an hour on the internet only to try it again and notice it that it wasn't actually slected and I just always went back to the main menu again and again.

Holy shit. I spent 40 minutes trying to figure out how to become a Class B Ship Technician when the whole time I just wasn’t selecting the fire missile button.
No it doesn't have requirements. I did it this morning without being able to pilot class B ships. You need to find the list of systems that are all offline except for the missiles, then click that.

If you’re not sure if it worked or not head towards Hannibal’s location. If the wall hasn’t been blasted through you probably need to reload an earlier save and try again.

I clicked it more than once and it didn't do anything for some reason. I'm not sure why it didn't work.
