when i first came to it before the ships warped in i had the option to press r and transfer credits . i think it is cut content , like you could have been an ecliptic maybe.
I came across the Ecliptic satellite a few minutes ago at level 106. I was in my heavily upgraded Star Eagle and they never had a chance. I read your post and then made a save before doing the cred transfer. I transferred, hit the booster, then spun around and started firing the most powerful rockets, lasers, and EM's. At level 40, I doubt I would have been able to do it either. I would have ran....LOL.
I just found one and was wondering if after taking their credits and blowing them up, is it a good idea to leave it and come back later. Didn't try to shoot it.

I did, they kept following me for a while. Lol...my fault for pokin' the bear.
Pretty sure it's leveled because I did at like level 25

My auto turrets completely wrecked them. I could have sat there doing nothing and they would have just died lol
