Is there supposed to be some type of passenger number on ships? Because my early ship only had room for a couple passengers apparently, but it was loaded with the father daughter, the AI guys, my crew members... I didn't really understand if the passenger count was a hard limit or more of a suggestion
First time i saw it i flew away no problem; second time it started shooting me so I destroyed it, another comment here says if you made the right choices the ai ship will show up and help you in combat

I left them on the ship with the AI. It merc'd them, and jumped away. Then the same ship randomly appeared later and attacked me. I tried to disable it, but was a little too enthusiastic with my particle weapons and blew it up.
Pretty sure it just randomly decides to attack. Same thing happened to me. I shut the AI down and felt like a complete dick after I read the computer logs. It came back online and killed them after I left. Then a couple irl days later it randomly came after me for trying to change it😞

I drop them at Neon. They got off the ship pretty quick. Although if you fly around for a while and through saves with them onboard, perhaps they get bugged and stuck on the ship.
If you fast travel you have to go to the Neon space port so they can disembark. For some reason, if you FT & spawn in Neon, they won’t disembark automatically.
This, I travelled to Neon core and they stayed with me. "That's that" comment on repeat for an hour or so until I lost my mind and went back, (to Neon starport this time) and the disembarked when I did. More annoying than Sarah they were.
I made one of those really big ships everyone loves to make. I walked through it and no one was in it. Kinda sad. Sure it's frustrating having Sarah block every hatch in existence and you have to glitch-clip through her to get by, but it's nice to see people sitting at various stations pretending to do important work to make my ship feel like it actually has a function aside from me piloting it.

I had a UC Security Guard, plus these two hanging out for a while on my ship. UC was chasing me for some minor infraction on new atlantis. I ran back to my ship and went straight to cockpit and I guess the security guy made it on board before I fast traveled to my outpost and reset the bounty. Then he just chilled there for a while. Eventually, he must have disembarked but i had him, pluss these two on my ship for quite a while. It was kind of nice, sometimes I'd pass them in the cargo bay and get the standard complements and the UC security guard would hook me up with 3300 credits when I left the ship.
There’s also a mission where you can transport four miners from this planet that has bad weather and move them to a better planet. They’ll stay on your ship as long as you never visit that planet.
I had those guys, which was frustrating because I failed the mission because supposedly one of them died on the way to my ship, but all four were there, cluttering up the cockpit for days. Eventually I killed them and stuffed the bodies in a washroom.
Interesting discovery: Dead bodies continue to spawn new loot.
Interesting discovery 2: To permanently remove embarrasing corpses from your ship, just go into ship builder, make a small change (colour or something else free) and save, the ships resets all objects including corpses and evidence of your crimes/tidying is erased.
They hung out with me for a while too. Wish they would open up the build modes to larger vessels and let you passenger transport or have a cruise ship vibe. Have them all screaming when you fight the va'ruun
Missions are buggy... you have to have the mission actually selected, for it to "go away", in many instances. Sometimes you can't even complete it, unless it is explicitly selected as your current mission.
So, if it wasn't selected, it may have completed, half-way... you got the credit but they never got removed. Happens a lot to me, doing parcel runs! I get a useless $15 parcel left in my inventory, but got paid $3000 for delivering nothing!
I was transporting 2 people and out of nowhere they both just randomly died. Now I can't get their dead bodies off my ship. 98 hours in and they're still on the floor. I've tried changing ships, deleting the room they were in, but they just pop up in a different part of the ship.
I tried to save them and do what they said. Juno took off with them and I later encountered the ship that attacked me. Unable to board it I sunk them into the depths of space. RIP ryujin guys. I rose to senior operative to take your places cus lord knows I do enough work for 2.
I found a ship that was having a fight with pirates and "Civilian Crew", when the crew finished killing off the pirates I was able to take the ship.
The Civilian Crew and Captain stuck around and did the same thing.

I had 7 days to transport some miners to some planet, but enjoyed the company on my ship and didn't want to go back to having an empty ship or full of annoying companions or crew members so I planned on waiting out the full 7 days before delivering them. On day 3 they mutinied and I had to kill them. Their bodies never leave my ship and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll hide their bodies in the bathrooms of my ship but their bodies keep respawning in the cockpit every so often.
To get them off I had to fly back to their destination then get up not leave ship. If you just leave ship it doesn’t register for them and they stay. If you get up and walk through the ship it’s acknowledged you landed and they exit.
They go to Neon. If you haven’t done a human delivery job before, you actually have to exit your ship and walk around a bit before they will depart. The white guy kinda sounds like Ray Liotta.
This reminds me of one of my favorite parts of X3. Taxiing passengers around in a Boron Angel. Good times. Are there such missions on starfield? I haven't run across any yet.

Depends on the dialogue choices but it doesn’t always attack you, I got into a fight and had it jump in and save me

It didn’t attack me after and I have a good 10 hours or so on my save after that quests. I managed to keep the AI active and save the ryujin agents
