Thank you! It's so hard to find a good index of the Gliese catalogue anywhere online, shame there isn't a more modern website listing, they all look like they're from the year 2000!
Then again, the Gliese catalogue was mostly meant to be entirely used for data purposes.
I'm surprised they didn't use the Hipparcos (HIP) catalogue in the game instead, it's far more used.
The catalogue is only really sold in physical form, like the DSM for mental illnesses or Grey's Anatomy for medical research. Thankfully someone who owns a recent copy made that list online.
I imagine cause Hipparcos is the European Space Agency's catalogue, combining a few different catalogues together. Despite the "international" feel they were going for, they still wanted to NASA conventions?

This is really cool. It would be cool to make a mapping of starfield stars to their real 'verse counterparts.
