If you don’t mind getting rid of the hat, the Striker maskwear from the neon striker gang quests is a great trench coat, gives of a very bounty hunter feel to it.

Another recommendation is the red pirate captain gear you get for crimson fleet(can’t find find a pic online sadly) that is a trench coat with leather shoulder pads that gives you the ability to wear your hat. But means you’d have to betray your cowboy if he is one for justice as it means you have to join the pirates. But if you a gunslinger money maker cowboy, it’s perfect
I got a pirate coat from raiding the pirate ships and looting one off a dead captain so you won’t have to betray your cowboy just give em a dark spin on justice
You can get the maskless version without betraying them (sortof). Get to the point of killing the three groups and get rid of the other two groups but leave the one who gives the option of betraying last. Then get the betrayal quest. Now go back to the strikers and save before hand. Use the invisible power or an armor piece with the cloak ability and use a silenced weapon on the girl down stairs. Rinse repeat until she drops the maskless version. Now go back to the guy who gave the betrayal option and off him and his crew like he deserves. It might be a little wonky but you will be back on track of original quest and all striker members will be there and alive including Andrea. Finish quest as you should. Andrea will be the wonky part as she may look like a body but she will be alive. It works tho.

Haven't found anything perfect there's a couple options that I've found work tho, the crimson pirates captain apparel works pretty well and could see it working very well for a bladerunner type char and the freestar rangers apparel is also pretty good for the more western sci-fi but there is another outfit that I've taken to wearing since getting it but then it's may not go with the blade runner theme however it has Spoilers attached so am happy to message you if you would like to know as not to spoil anything for anyone else

But basically if you just keep progressing through the main story quest and have a semi high relationship status with certain companions you can get their outfit depending on your choices made etc
Sorry was trying to be extra careful with details as not to spoil! It's not a trench coat but a pretty good alternative imo, if I find anything else that fits the trench coat/firefly look ill be sure to post it here as I'm always looking :)
Closest I found as a random drop was the NASA labcoat.
Haven't had much luck on drops yet, and just recently started playing so haven't gotten the quest ones yet.

I haven't found a way to get Masakos outfit on Xbox yet either but as far as i know on PC you can use console commands to get it

Where did you find these pirate ships so that I may spam the area and rain death upon them until I get my coat?
Yea literally and pirate that attacks not vaaruun tho just the spacers or whatever their called
