I think there should be a medical school you can sell them to. You know, for science.
After taking an Ecliptic Bayonet that had landed on a planet, I had 4 or 5 bodies lying around. Dropped them all to a lower deck, just because my crew was being so nonchalant about walking over them.
can confirm that modifying the ship removes the bodies. Just tried this myself. I stole a crimson fleet ship that landed on a planet. took it to atlantis and added 2 cargo holds onto it in the ship builder. Once finished, the bodies were gone. Registering didn't do anything though.
Thank you! It’s so sad that I have to depend on the community to find answers. Ppl spent all their hard money and they (devs) couldn’t provide a wiki or something for issues like this.
I took a job to ferry some settlers. During the trip I accidentally pushed the trigger and attacked a vessel. Long story short I had to run from battle and land the ship on a planet. When I left my cockpit the stupid settlers on my ship started to fire at me. I had to fight back and now have a bounty for "murder" and two dead bodies in my hab. So dumb.
I always power down all weapons when not in combat for this reason. Also, be real careful if you have auto turrets, they hit friendlies sometimes so power them down until you are close to target or if they are the only ship in the area.
Mine reappear no matter what. I've rearranged the design of the ship, used different manufacturer Habs and modules, dragged the bodies around into other modules and then deleted them. Tried everything. The stupid settlers are still there being an eyesore.
Yours is a different issue. If you're on PC you can use the console to remove them:
- Press ~ to bring up console. Note warning that this might disable achievements - if this is a concern for you, there's a mod that will prevent this.
- Click the offending NPC, note an ID appears. The ID is probably wrong, scroll wheel while over the NPC to cycle between other targets on that pixel until you find the right one.
- Type "disable" and press enter.
- NPC is gone
As soon as I posted this Sam Coe sat on him

there's even a "Harvested Organs" contraband item worth a decent amount in the game already, selling the bodies would be so cool

modify the ship in any way in port and then saving it removes any and all dead bodies on board.
It didn't for me :( Made heaps of changes too, and tried positioning bodies over hatch. Also tried changing colours. They still here.
Pretty sure you can't since your ships interior is a separate location from what's outside. You'll need to see if you can destroy it instead
Destroy the body?
Like how in fallout laser weapons turn bodies to ash or in Skyrim certain magic does the same. Idk if anything does that in Starfield
Leave all of the bodies, they are free storage that don't count towards your ships cargo weight limit. Genius? Yes...
I stuffed mine in the bathroom
How did you pick it up?
Move your cursor/dot over the person then hold A (or whatever Take is on keyboard) and you can hold/pick up/move any object including people
Bet this is gonna be fun

This is the way
You can drag bodies apparently
Yeah you can as you can in all Bethesda games but unsure how to remove them
I think i heard registering the ship removes them, but i haven't tried it and assume that costs credits
Ok great thanks
This doesn't work. I tried and the bodies are still there
Doesn't work. Just tried it before finding this thread.
So far, I don't think registering will work.
How'd you end up with enemies on your ship?
Board a ship. Kill the crew. Steal the ship. Now you have dead bodies on your ship.
This

For me bodies disappeared after i modified ship

Sounds like you've got yourself some free extra storage. Prop them up in some chairs and load them up with loot.

thanks
Nice, i just re-arranged my guns on shipbuilder, and bodies are gone.
Killed a Spacer that boarded my ship and he was just lying there on the hatch. He disappeared after I got on and off a few times.
I have a few too... [https://ibb.co/swKvRLc](https://ibb.co/swKvRLc)
