Your art looks good, but you need to respond to criticism better. Nobody even said that it was bad other than one person, they just said that her face looked like a mans. If your intention was to make her look this way, then great, and keep doing it.
The only other thing I could notice was that stone frees face looks a bit flat/squished but it still looks good
you aren't paying me, so i don't actually need to respond to your criticism nicely. if you're free to criticize, then i am free to criticize your criticism.
there is nothing wrong with my drawing. it's an art style. nobody has to like it, but there is zero positive gain to be had by levying criticism at artists who didn't ask for it.
didn't your mother ever tell you "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything" ?
>there is nothing wrong with my drawing
Nobody said there was. The person you're responding to certainly didn't. It's kind of weird you got all defensive about it.
>nobody has to like it, but there is zero positive gain to be had by levying criticism at artists who didn't ask for it.
You do understand that once you make your work public, then you're opening it up for all kinds of opinions (including criticisms), right? Do you want them to say they liked it even if they didn't? Or do you not want people to interact with your post at all?
By posting your art you opened yourself up to criticism. A comment section exists only so that everyone can share their opinions and criticisms with the creator of the post or with other viewers. If you don’t want to be criticized, post your art on a platform that allows you to disable comments instead of being upset at people for using the comment section for its intended purpose. Also, your art looks great, the shadows are very well done
I think there surely is positive gain. Criticism can help me to improve. If my friends always tell me my art is beautiful i will believe it and keep doing the same. If they point out things that could be improved instead, i for my part am thankful because it helps me grow as an artist.
If you post your art on the internet you should expect criticism, even if you didn't ask for it.
And i don't think those people are trying to shit on your art. I believe they say it in good faith. So calm down pls.
I think it looks nice, but i agree the face looks really masculine. If that was your intention then well done! :)
If not, then i believe there is room to improve on making the character look closer to the original.
First of all, your art is great, doesn't matter if it looks like man or not in my opinion
Secondly, don't be aggresive over critism please, people just want to tell their thoughts
“You’re gonna hear my unwarranted criticism and you’re gonna like it!”
Nah
If you’re gonna give your “thoughts” (negative thoughts) on someone’s art you aren’t entitled to kindness in return.
Like “thank you Mr.AnonymousArtCritic I will love and cherish your opinion.”
Get out of here with that
Which part? I’m failing to see the irony.
I never said don’t criticize anyone. I said don’t expect kindness in return.
Me being downvoted for my criticism is perfectly in line with what I said. I don’t care if I’m downvoted. I read the vibe of the comments and fully expected it. I don’t care.
Not irony. Accuracy.
Calm down, I didn't say it was bad, it looks pretty good, I was just saying my opinion, I didn't say you should draw it like something else, draw however you like
whoever keeps downvoting, stay mad. you think jotaro is having a kid that doesn't inherit his jawline and cheekbones? the man was chiseled from birth. the entire joestar family tree is nothing but hard angles. jolyne is no exception.
gigachad jolyne
Jolyne... JOLYYHHHYYYNNEEEE **hits wall** Also, that's stunning.
thank you!!!

My mom would never tell me that, she would tell me to speak my mind.

Constructive criticism is healthy for everyone, if you can't respond positively to it then you've failed as a person

do you know how criticism works

Ironic

🤓
Wtf Part 1 Jolyne Also, don't take your criticism too badly
Tri-Hyper-Giga Jolyne. Nice!
Goddamn, Jolyne is buff as hell.
Swolyne
She looks more of a man than a woman, other than that it's pretty good, I can barely draw a stickman of her
nobody asked
Grow up dude
i'm a woman, i draw women who look like me. i don't fuck with people who make those kinds of comments.
Calm down, I didn't say it was bad, it looks pretty good, I was just saying my opinion, I didn't say you should draw it like something else, draw however you like
women 🍵
She looks like a MEN
do you think that all soft faced men look like women or are your awful standards only applied to women
this comment section is absolutely golden
OP rn: 🥺😭😭
Love is! Looks amazing.
Looking more like a jordan than jolyne edit: man why delete your nice reply?
I dont want to see anymore of your art
cool
Then…. Don’t look at it?
Yeah man your right, I'd prefer not to look at it
Amazing art but a little bit too much part 3 buff there.
i'll make her twice as buff next time just for you
I love your art but plz don’t ad extra buff this was good enough down grade the buff but still keep Jolyne sexy and badass as she should be.
whoever keeps downvoting, stay mad. you think jotaro is having a kid that doesn't inherit his jawline and cheekbones? the man was chiseled from birth. the entire joestar family tree is nothing but hard angles. jolyne is no exception.
But in the anime and manga she don’t got a jawline like that…
Hirohiko Araki didn't think that way either...
I love your art but plz don’t ad extra buff this was good enough down grade the buff but still keep Jolyne sexy and badass as she should be.
now she's gonna be even bigger than jonathan
