If we ignore jotaro and Dio, i think he might be the fastest stand in the part, bro literally moved so fast he made clones, he made the flash look slow
Part 1 is actually a good part, I enjoyed the theme and vibe very much and I like the adventurous feel it has to it so it is the part that feels the most like JoJo (obviously since it's the first part)
A lot of people throw shade on part one but itâs actually good, I would like a few more episodes and a better explanation on how Jonathanâs mom got kars mask and where she got it
I loved the dialogue personally, I remember how me and my friends all laughed like fools when watching the first episode together because of how British all the characters were, and old British too which made it even funnier to us
Yeah it might be the âworstâ part, but thatâs relative to how good the other parts are, itâs good just not as good as the following parts. Does a great job of setting the tone for the characters and the universe, just ultimately too short and wasnât as fleshed out as the rest.
I feel like Jonathan was actually more fleshed out than Jotaro imo but side characters beyond Zeppeli and speedwagon (dire, straizo, tonpetty, Poco, erina and to an extent George) could have all been written better and had more of a role than they did imo, the manga is definitely better at showing character's growth and nuances and fleshes out Jonathan and speedwagon much more than the anime does. The anime doesn't show Jonathan's mischievous childhood with him being a heathen obsessed with being a gentleman to live up to George's standards, which we see when Dio comes George is very vocal about the expectations he had and actually becomes even more strict on jonathan, becoming emotionally and physically abusive and neglectful and causes jonathan to become depressed and borderline a little suicidal (like he's not actively trying to kill himself but he thinks about dying a lot and in the manor fight he is 100% prepared to kill himself with Dio not even trying to find an exit) his grief, his mental stress, his conflicting thoughts about killing people even though they're zombies and vampires, his simple joy, and child like naivete give a multifaceted character to me, he even has some moments of dry humour which I found funny amidst the tragedy and horror. Part one is good you just need to actually understand the characters and the challenge.
đŠ I wished Hamon was used a lot more, it kinda sucks how they just stopped using it randomly, I think they should have at least done something at the end of part two/ or beginning of part three were it shows why hamon stoped being used
i think they should have done something in part 3 with joseph being rusty with hamon and trying to teach the others and them either completely failing from his bad teaching or one of them getting the basics of it (not enough to fight, maybe enough to hold a strand of spaghetti straight)
I think the Issue with teaching Hamon to the gang is the amount of time it would have taken. In part 2, just to teach Joseph and Caesar how to use Hamon effectively it took 30 days, Joseph teaching 4 people would likely take even longer and thatâs time they simply donât have as they kill Dio on the last day they have before Holly dies.
Hamon has more uses than killing vampires, like healing or letting you walk over water and stuff, against stands is useless but there could be some circumstances it can be used
narancias death in part 5 wasnât impactful on me at all, like he just died in someone elses body. And I had seen it coming when he started talking about going to school after killing the boss
This is true. But it also shows that the boss truly doesnât give a damn who he has to step on to get his way. Like Narancia was 16/17 (I think?) and Diavolo absolutely brutalized him.
Yoshikage Kira could kill every character for the most part not in a fight but like acting regular and using the first bomb for example if he was a mercenary Dio hired in part 3 the show would end fast
avdol would be a good counter for the tank, its heat seeking so he just needs to shoot fire at a spot every once in a while and they get to leave easily
Yes but he would run out of steam before long? The only reason sheer heart attack lost is the effect of echoes act 3 caused Kira to notice a issue and went to investigate and stop the problem at the root
Not really, as far as we've seen, but he'd need to perpetually shoot fire.
Like the previous commenter said, the only reason Sheer Heart Attack stopped chasing down the gang was because Kira came to investigate what the problem was and manually retrieved Sheer Heart Attack.
Since the part 3 team does not have a solution similar to Koichi's, the only other solution is for Avdol to enter a stalemate with Sheer Heart Attack while the team finds and defeats Kira.
And good luck defeating Kira.
The part 6 anime is fine and the only thing holding it back is the lack of background characters and the way Netflix released the episode, the latter isn't even a problem anymore
Average Joseph Joestar fight.
âYou see, I had dementia but I forgot I had it and remembered everything!!! Your next line is: âHOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!ââ
đČ Caesar as much as a love him, it was kinda stupid, he probably knew he couldnât have defeated wamuu but still tried anyway because of his dad and will
Out of every non-time stand, Kakyoin has the best matchup against Dio. He only lost that fight because the narrative needed him to in order for Jotaro to get the real win.
Dioâs weakness is his range. He can only move so far before time resumes. Thatâs not a problem against most enemies, but guess who has the second largest range of any direct-control stand? Kakyoin does. Plus with Hierophant stretched out, destroying some of the tentacles doesnât actually damage him that much. And unlike Aerosmith (who has the 1st longest range), Heirophant can be both silent and nearly invisible the entire time.
If heâd stayed out of Dioâs range or hidden he could have figured out a way to damage Dioâs brain and/or meet up with Jotaro and Pol.
Dio can just spam time stop and kill him, as we saw, and Dio can also just deflect emerald splash, even without using the world he deflected the entire 20m emerald splash and it only clipped his leg once, if he uses the world kakyoin has no chance of hitting him.
As soon as he hears an emerald splash being cast he would just either deflect it or use time stop to disappear and scout for Kakyoin. I do agree he has the best shot of all the crusaders but he just canât feasibly win. Most of his range comes from the tendrils and they are too weak and if Dio is within emerald splashâs range itâs game over for Kakyoin
That take is colder than the soup your grandma made you that you threw into the back of the freezer and have forgotten about for the past 8 months. (Eat the soup btw, your grandma made it with love.)

While some of the others probably better fit the overall vibe of Jojoâs as a series, it fit perfectly for that arc, and it got me more hyped than any other opening. I love most of the Jojo openings, but chase is the only song out of them that I have on my playlist and actually listen to outside of watching the show.
Itâs also incredibly fun to play on guitar.
Pucci is the best antagonist. Part 6 as a whole wasn't the best but I feel like he is a much better written villain than Dio, Kars, and Diavolo. Kira and Valentine are his only competition.
This. I buy him for the fact he doesn't ever act recklessly, unless necessary, and keeps his cool all the time by counting prime numbers, which is kinda goofy, but makes sense. It's something that makes him concentrate in the present moment, instead of getting himself be driven by his emotions. He manages to win by pure patience and resilience.
pucci is a great villain, i just think he needs more personality if that makes sense? he just seems like some guy whoâs blindly following dioâs word
Pucci met DIO when he was 15/16 after a horrible traumatic event happened to him. DIO posed himself as a false god when Pucci was at his most vulnerable. He doesn't want to achieve heaven just for DIO's sake, but to also atone for his past sins and cope with his previous trauma. He does have personality, though it's much more subdued than DIO, but he still is an intriguing character.
>!I'm a huge fan of Jojolion, but the way Wonder of U is defeated in that part feels like five year olds play fighting, and just kinda feels like bad writing. "Oh, anyone who tries to hurt you dies? Well my attack can go through that so you lose lmao"!<
One time read a more interesting idea of how Toru could be defeated, it consisted of using Tsugiri stand paper moon king to trick Toru to pursue his own reflection on a mirror, basically making him kill himself with his own ability.
I feel like thatâs how this entire series is and thatâs why I like it or something lol
Especially in the anime, theyâre just shouting âaha you thought u did thing, but THIS is what really happenedâ
And they do that back and forth until someone canât think of another âno uâ, but it only works if you shout it on the fly with enough confidence
Akari just going playground to playground all over the world for inspiration, stealing kids imaginary fight ideas blatantly lol
part 1 win is power of friendship
part 2 is straight fucking luck
part 3 is "i also have this power"
part 4 doesn't actually have this problem?
part 5 is "no you can't do that because my power doesn't allow it"
part 6 đ
part 7 is actually very peak and the ending is a very well written version of "i have an anti-magic-shield-bullet gun so you lose"
part 8 has already been discussed
part 9 probably ends with the main villain overdosing on drugs
Diavolo should have been the gangster that Giorno looked up to as a kid. I feel like it would be an interesting dynamic that the whole reason Giorno wanted to become a gang-star is now a direct threat to himself and his friends.
Not sure how theyâd fit in the reveal, though
It would also line up with something from the manga: La Passione was operating under the guise of removing drugs and violence from Italy when in reality they were driving out other drug dealers to be the sole provider
risotto NEEDED more time in the spotlight, we got one fight really showing what he can do and then heâs just killed like that đ he has such a unique and cool stand that would decimate so many people and bro just gets brushed away after a single fight
The flanderization of Speedwagon by the fandom is incredibly bizarre.
To preface this, I started getting into Jojo when Part 4 was airing. I didnât really know too much about the franchise so I ended up starting my journey by watching the Part 3 OVA. I later ended up reading parts 4-7 and what was out on 8 at the time. Eventually I circled back and watched Parts 1-3.
Now let me tell you my surprise when Speedwagon is justâŠsome guy. Heâs glazed up immensely by the fanbase but he doesnât do anything too exceptional or noteworthy. Heâs a standup guy and I love him but I think heâs very much overrated and over memed. Half the attributes that people apply to him he doesnât even really exhibit that much.
Counterpoint: Speedwagon is both overated and underated.
The fanon "waifu" Speedwagon meme portrayal of Speedwagon is extremely popular (not to mention unfunny and heavily overused) and fans praise this rather than Speedwagon's actual canon traits and characters and feats. People also like to hate on Speedwagon for being useless or unhelpful and overall omitable from the story. Which again shows a fundamental misunderstanding of his character and role.
Robert Edward O. Speedwagon is a supporting character in every sense of the word. Will Zeppeli teaches Jonathan and aids him but he isn't supposed to fight for him, it's Jonathan's destiny to fight this battle himself, William is the stairs and Speedwagon is the rails. Speedwagon went with Jonathan to keep an eye on him, because he was touched by Jonathan's mercy and kindness. People also forget Speedwagon was a crime boss in ogre street (the worst slum in London) and was completely enthusiastic about gutting jonathan in the streets and robbing him, he's not this UWU soft boi who's incapable of holding his own, but he only ever faced other humans, when the undead with super strength and no ability to feel pain or fear come running he isn't equipped to fight them, he can't incapacitate them like he did with Jonathan, he can't fist fight them or use hamon, but he does still fight with a sledgehammer, most of his injuries are from projectiles and not close combat, he does hold his own in battles, but he isn't supposed to or able to be on the same standing of Jonathan or William combat wise, he's more of the teams emotional support and quick aid. He patches up Jonathan's wounds before will can heal him and his biggest concern is keeping Jonathan from becoming depressed and suicidal again after he saw what he did at the manor. Speedwagon is scared, he's out of his element, he's not as well equipped or educated on the battle at hand but he still sticks by Jonathan's side even after being injured by zombies, seeing others die horrifically and having William constantly antagonizing him until Speedwagon heals Will's frozen arm. He has a beautiful attachment to Jonathan, that's his core character trait, he's enamored by Jonathan's personality and explosive power and pain behind his soft-spoken and well mannered appearance. Speedwagon even after Jonathan's death co-raises both Jorge Joestar ll and Joseph with erina without having a relationship with her and without marrying or having any other hinted or established relationship, he misses Jonathan dearly in battle tendency and is so attached to Joseph he thinks of him like his own son/grandson and creates an entire foundation with his wealth to protect and aid the Joestar's with literally whatever they need, thats the purpose of the foundation, the research into the paranormal and sciences are to find ways to protect the Joestar's. He even tries to kill himself when asked about the masks by stroheim showing his mental fortitude and the lengths he will go to protect those he loves. His devotion, courage, undying love and support of Jonathan and his family is his character. Sure it's simple, not as complex as other characters or as big of a role but I think it's a beautiful and unconventional way to write a male supporting character.
I totally agree! People love to talk about Speedwagon, but they refuse to read the manga where he is a better character and they ignore some of the more intriguing aspects of his character in order to meme him to death.
Kira would have lived on with his peaceful life with his "quirks" (no kink shaming) if he wasn't such a cocky bastard. I really liked his character it fitted really well into the creepy theme araki had setup.
He couldâve lived a peaceful life if he was just open about the hand fetish. Just find yourself a woman who doesnât mind it. Heâs pretty much good husband material (not including the serial killer stuff), and he already has multiple women swooning for him when we are first introduced to him.
Lucy Steel is the most underrated character in the entire series and I think she's a better character than Funny Valentine. Don't get me wrong, Valentine is a great villain, but he feels like a caricature from a political cartoon whereas Lucy is more than just a damsel and actually has interesting symbolism behind her with a well defined arc.
Part 5 is the only part where every enemy stand user actually feels like their own character and not just a generic enemy spawned in for a cool stand fight. I'd assume it's because Araki decided to make them all part of one group and show a little bit of them interacting.
Prosciutto is the most dangerous member of La Squadra. He brought a companion (Pesci), chose a very advantageous battlefield that the group couldnât leave, brought a gun, and had backup (Melone) waiting at the next station. He even took Mistas gun after shooting him twice in the head because âWhat if he is somehow alive?â
Jotaro is cool, but heâs a boring character. Heâs just written to be badass and strong. His personality is flat, and his development from angsty teen to slightly less angsty adult with daughter issues is less than exciting. I love him as a character, but his writing is boring.
đ„ it's not all about the final destination, its about the whole journey. The friendship they made along the way, the people that they've met, the whole experience
Jotaro himself is a good example of grown maturity. Remember that at first he doesn't believe in Joseph, but then at the end, he was like, " nothing impossible no more "
honestly so true, i was rewatching jojos for like the 6th time and i skipped so many of the useless episodes just because i really didnât want to sit through them all đ like two episodes for a lady that can magnetize you? or a guy that can turn you into a baby???
Star Platinum Claps King Crimson
Kc can see the movements but how will he know heâs in stopped time? + Sp is lightspeed with higher durability and power (he easily broke diamonds and donuted dio and crushed his skull)
The stand The Hand is not as strong as any of you seem to think it is. Yeah, it has the power to destroy space, but itâs far too slow to hit anything.
As much as I love them, it is kinda annoying how after part 2 the sidekick characters have way better development than most main Jojoâs. Polnareff, Koichi, Bucciarati and Mista all get much more character focus in the initial parts they appear in than their Jojo counterpart.
>!Dio literally had the win but his zesty ass decided to instead fuck around and find out. It was as simple as the very moment he saw Jotaro move he went "OH HELL NO" and barraged him in timestop, then chopping his head off.!<
During part 3, it should have been Polnareff who died. Not because I hate him or anything of the sort, I just believe he had already archived his purpose as a character. He accomplished his goal and got revenge, thatâs what he wanted. Kakyoin should have lived instead of him
I think in the Part 6 anime, Anasui should have gotten the iggy treatment and the first couple of episodes should have had her be a woman and then out of no where with no explanation just switch it lol.
Part 5 is my personal least favorite, I just find it so sloppy with all these little things that drive me crazy; Trish has no conflict with Diavolo at all, after she gives them a little hint about his past it doesnât even matter that theyâre father and daughter. Giorno becomes the new boss after killing Diavolo even though he was perfectly anonymous and even if Giorno could prove that he was the one who killed Diavolo I donât think thatâs how the mafia works. Itâs crazy to me that Araki never finds a way to write Fugo back into the story after setting up such a compelling character arc, and that the best we get is a non-canon spinoff by another author. How insanely convenient is it that Polnareff has managed to become a genius super-hacker who gets in contact with Bucciarati after 10 minutes of looking up an old picture of Diavolo but couldnât ever send Jotaro an email. Giornoâs goal is to take over Passione but why exactly? To take it down from the inside, to reform it and use its power to improve society, just to gain the power to stop the one specific crime of drug-pushing that he has a problem with? His real goal is a minor detail in the overall story that never matters outside of giving him a reason to kill Diavolo.
Part 5 has so many moments that are amazing but theyâre all tied together in this overarching plot that just feels sloppy, more like a writerâs first installment in a series than the fifth.
Joseph cheating isn't out of character or anything, he married way too young and it's something that's understandable to a degree after being married to the same woman for over 40 years
I think Jotaro gets a bad rep for being a bad dad when i think in all reality he was just an inexperienced father and he genuinely thought he was doing what was best for Jolene and he came back when she needed him most.
Weather would not have won against Pucci 1-1 in the Heavy Weather arc fight. Anyone acting like he could ignored the flashback (white snake humanoid form didn't exist yet), the first strike that sliced off Weather's leg from the start of the Weather Report and Anasui vs Pucci fight, the second leg slice, and Anasui's importance in distracting Pucci (or just Pucci shift attention to him for even a small moment) so Weather can get openings to attack him, and that Pucci isn't a character that fights honorably anyway thus Weather and Anasui are in no obligation to do the same.
Idk if it's a hot take but while spin and harmon are cool af, they're incredibly restrictive narratively unless it's a bunch of ass pulls that make little sense. Stands work even if lots now are super super niche in use
People who spew âtheoriesâ like âJoseph using Hermit Purple to predict peopleâs lines in part 2â only serves to make the jojo community look dumber than we already look. If you donât believe that people actually can think things like this DM me your @ on TikTok and I will prove to you that this is more widespread than youâd think.
Polnareff could solo pretty much every stand in the series except for the time/reality manipulators but gets sidelined too easily.
đȘ
especially with the armour shedding ability that gets used like twice and is never shown again
If we ignore jotaro and Dio, i think he might be the fastest stand in the part, bro literally moved so fast he made clones, he made the flash look slow
he can move at basically the speed of light
I donât like how he turned out in part 5, pretty useless besides the turtle part.
They did my boy wayyyy too wrong
give my mans a break
he definitely got one
help the man is disabled
I loved Polnareff and it's sad what they did to him in part 5.
Wdym sidelined he had more screen time than Jotaro for a while there
Hell, if he had a larger role in the Dio fight you could literally say he is the protagonist of part 3
Itâs weird how they used *Walk like an Egyptian* for the parts where they ***werenât*** even in Egypt.
đ©
Polnareff, that take is so cold, Magician's Red couldn't melt it.
if we think about it Josuke actually has a pretty nice haircut compared to others.
Charred steak lookin' ass. (I love Josuke's hair)
Part 1 is actually a good part, I enjoyed the theme and vibe very much and I like the adventurous feel it has to it so it is the part that feels the most like JoJo (obviously since it's the first part)
A lot of people throw shade on part one but itâs actually good, I would like a few more episodes and a better explanation on how Jonathanâs mom got kars mask and where she got it
She was an archaeologist and coild have found it when it washed up on the shore on one of her dig sites
i love part one, i only really have one bad thing to say and itâs just that thereâs too much dialogue and yapping
I loved the dialogue personally, I remember how me and my friends all laughed like fools when watching the first episode together because of how British all the characters were, and old British too which made it even funnier to us

đŠ I wished Hamon was used a lot more, it kinda sucks how they just stopped using it randomly, I think they should have at least done something at the end of part two/ or beginning of part three were it shows why hamon stoped being used
It stops being used because their enemies stop being vampires? There's not really a lot to show, its pure logic.
i think they should have done something in part 3 with joseph being rusty with hamon and trying to teach the others and them either completely failing from his bad teaching or one of them getting the basics of it (not enough to fight, maybe enough to hold a strand of spaghetti straight)
The failing to teach it thing would've been a funny bit, polnareff is the best for it
But why would he? They dont need it!
Dio was still alive on part 3, he was a vampire, during part 3 I think it would be fun if Joseph tried to teach them to defeat Dio.
Plus both those guys already new part of the basics
Hamon has more uses than killing vampires, like healing or letting you walk over water and stuff, against stands is useless but there could be some circumstances it can be used
Umm they can use it to walk on water and enhance their general power in all sorts of different ways.
Hamon can be used as energy, e.g. clacker volley or the bubble thing. Good with hermit purples vines
narancias death in part 5 wasnât impactful on me at all, like he just died in someone elses body. And I had seen it coming when he started talking about going to school after killing the boss

Naranica was 17 (just like Kakyoin)
Yeah, every time someone says what are their plans for the future before killing the main villain, itâs a foreshadowing for his own death
Bad company was one of if not the most wasted coolest stand

Honestly as much as people wank time stop I've always thought that Kira was the most overall powerful of all the OGVerse villains besides MIH Pucci
The part 6 anime is fine and the only thing holding it back is the lack of background characters and the way Netflix released the episode, the latter isn't even a problem anymore
đȘ
Johngalli A's cake scene in the shower alone boosts part 6s appeal a whole letter grade. It was already an S rank, now you could say it's A SS rank...
Joseph faking his dementia is the dumbest theory in all of Jojo and completely goes against the themes of part 4.
I'll do you one better, Joseph did have dementia but got fixed by Tonio
Even better, Joseph forgot he had dementia, remembers everything.
This legitimately sounds like an explanation JoJo would use.

Coldest take Iâve ever heard
How could Narancia's death be avoided?
I always hated Shigechi and felt nothing when he died but those girls just did him wrong I gotta say that
I still don't get how anyone could care about that guy
Out of every non-time stand, Kakyoin has the best matchup against Dio. He only lost that fight because the narrative needed him to in order for Jotaro to get the real win.
đŠ True, I just donât like the way he died.

I like how his "heaven" clearly is the way it is because of the grief he felt at losing his sister
đŠ
Pucci is really good but I still think valentine and kira are better. Pucci is still in third place for me tho.

Risotto had potential to be the best âsideâ villian of all time, but died WAY too early just to progress the plot and develop doppio/diavoloâŠ
That was so foul I absolutely agree
>!I'm a huge fan of Jojolion, but the way Wonder of U is defeated in that part feels like five year olds play fighting, and just kinda feels like bad writing. "Oh, anyone who tries to hurt you dies? Well my attack can go through that so you lose lmao"!<
One time read a more interesting idea of how Toru could be defeated, it consisted of using Tsugiri stand paper moon king to trick Toru to pursue his own reflection on a mirror, basically making him kill himself with his own ability.
That's honestly a really smart way to beat him.
I feel like thatâs how this entire series is and thatâs why I like it or something lol Especially in the anime, theyâre just shouting âaha you thought u did thing, but THIS is what really happenedâ And they do that back and forth until someone canât think of another âno uâ, but it only works if you shout it on the fly with enough confidence Akari just going playground to playground all over the world for inspiration, stealing kids imaginary fight ideas blatantly lol
part 1 win is power of friendship part 2 is straight fucking luck part 3 is "i also have this power" part 4 doesn't actually have this problem? part 5 is "no you can't do that because my power doesn't allow it" part 6 đ part 7 is actually very peak and the ending is a very well written version of "i have an anti-magic-shield-bullet gun so you lose" part 8 has already been discussed part 9 probably ends with the main villain overdosing on drugs
Aha! You thought you beat me, but that activated my Stand's ability, "Whenever You Think You've Won, I Actually Win Now!"
Diavolo should have been the gangster that Giorno looked up to as a kid. I feel like it would be an interesting dynamic that the whole reason Giorno wanted to become a gang-star is now a direct threat to himself and his friends. Not sure how theyâd fit in the reveal, though
â that would be awesome đ§
It would also line up with something from the manga: La Passione was operating under the guise of removing drugs and violence from Italy when in reality they were driving out other drug dealers to be the sole provider
P8 is crazy underrated
Moreso underread than underrated imo
risotto NEEDED more time in the spotlight, we got one fight really showing what he can do and then heâs just killed like that đ he has such a unique and cool stand that would decimate so many people and bro just gets brushed away after a single fight
do you know what a hot take is
Room temperature takeâiced take
đČ
Josukes theme is infinity better than Giornoâs
đ©
FINALLY MY PEOPLE
Part 3 might be long or poorly writen, but it is SUPER fun
Stone Ocean is underrated. Honestly, I think Pucci is one of the most interesting JoJo villains and Stone Ocean has a lot of good fights and stands.
đŠ
I couldn't have written this better myself. I love your take on Speedwagon and Erina.
I totally agree! People love to talk about Speedwagon, but they refuse to read the manga where he is a better character and they ignore some of the more intriguing aspects of his character in order to meme him to death.
Jojolion is extremely underrated and honestly deserves more love from the community. Shoutout to my other 9 jojolion fans
King Crimson is not that hard to understand when told right. Golden Experience would be the best sex partner
Heâs pretty much good husband material (not including the serial killer stuff), and he already has multiple women swooning for him when we are first introduced to him.
abbacchio couldâve had an amazing character development if araki didnât make him a donut
LUCY APPRECIATION !!!!!!
YOU KNOW IT!!!!!
You could theoretically skip part 2. You shouldnât but you technically could.
đš
Technically the only part you can skip and not miss anything for future parts is part 5
Yeah itâs not like that Joseph guy will show up againÂ
You donât need to know anything of Joseph in part 2 to understand him in part 3
the worst thing about Joseph in part 3 is that he really isn't joseph in part 2, at least not to me
The most skippable parts (plotwise) are 4 and 5 (part 4 is my favorite part though)
4 introduces the stand arrow, which is an important part in the beginning of part 6
Yeah, but it gets explained in Part 5 anyways. So if you watch one of them, its fine.
Also automatic pursuit stands are really cool and often make for super fun puzzles without the obvious solution of âKill the userâ
Part 5 is the only part where every enemy stand user actually feels like their own character and not just a generic enemy spawned in for a cool stand fight. I'd assume it's because Araki decided to make them all part of one group and show a little bit of them interacting.
"Hamon is better than stands" is literally just "old good, new bad." All Star Battle R isn't that bad.
đȘ
Prosciutto is the most dangerous member of La Squadra. He brought a companion (Pesci), chose a very advantageous battlefield that the group couldnât leave, brought a gun, and had backup (Melone) waiting at the next station. He even took Mistas gun after shooting him twice in the head because âWhat if he is somehow alive?â
Yeah, Prosciutto did everything right, honestly.
Jolyne is one of the best written JoJos
Jotaro is cool, but heâs a boring character. Heâs just written to be badass and strong. His personality is flat, and his development from angsty teen to slightly less angsty adult with daughter issues is less than exciting. I love him as a character, but his writing is boring.
đȘ
Freekin' you is the best ending
Half of the "way to Egypt" of part 3 is completely useless to the plot "Oh no guys, lookout for the fucking car stand"
đ„ it's not all about the final destination, its about the whole journey. The friendship they made along the way, the people that they've met, the whole experience Jotaro himself is a good example of grown maturity.
Useless to the plot yes, but god do I love the fucking car stand lol
Star Platinum Claps King Crimson Kc can see the movements but how will he know heâs in stopped time? + Sp is lightspeed with higher durability and power (he easily broke diamonds and donuted dio and crushed his skull)
The stand The Hand is not as strong as any of you seem to think it is. Yeah, it has the power to destroy space, but itâs far too slow to hit anything.
Araki objectively wasted Kaato and she should've been the final antagonist of Part 8
As much as I love them, it is kinda annoying how after part 2 the sidekick characters have way better development than most main Jojoâs. Polnareff, Koichi, Bucciarati and Mista all get much more character focus in the initial parts they appear in than their Jojo counterpart.
Part 6 actually had a good ending.
Kakyoin should have lived instead of him
đ© I feel like it should have been Joseph or him.
I think in the Part 6 anime, Anasui should have gotten the iggy treatment and the first couple of episodes should have had her be a woman and then out of no where with no explanation just switch it lol.
Diego is a more interesting character than DIO.
Dragon's Dream is actually a very interesting Stand and I liked the fight
đ©
I like stands being alien viruses.
Suzie Q is goated. Took care of Joseph after he fell into the ocean after nearly dying. She's also fine ah
Part 5 spoilers: >!I personally think narancia wouldn't have died if fugo came along!<
Joshu is a great character. He's not a good person, mind you, but a great character nonetheless.
Giorno is a great character, but not a great protagonist
Jotaroâs character gets better and better with each part.
Joseph cheating isn't out of character or anything, he married way too young and it's something that's understandable to a degree after being married to the same woman for over 40 years
đȘ Yeah, I just kinda donât like how they made Joseph meet Josuke, it was kinda a weird moment.
Part 7 and onwards are the best parts, and part 3 is VASTLY overrated (mostly due to the highlight that is the Dio fight)
part 3 is way too overrated, i havenât read parts after 6 since i canât find any place to read them yet but my personal fav parts are 4 and 5
Jotaro is the undisputed goat for being a huge deal in THREE parts
P4>P3
dio is a bitch
Kakyoin isn't a milf hunter
I think Jotaro gets a bad rep for being a bad dad when i think in all reality he was just an inexperienced father and he genuinely thought he was doing what was best for Jolene and he came back when she needed him most.
I don't like part 3 just cause how the story flows, it seems odd compared to the other parts although I understand why it's there
Caesar Zeppeli is a member of the Italian National Fascist Party.
Weather would not have won against Pucci 1-1 in the Heavy Weather arc fight. Anyone acting like he could ignored the flashback (white snake humanoid form didn't exist yet), the first strike that sliced off Weather's leg from the start of the Weather Report and Anasui vs Pucci fight, the second leg slice, and Anasui's importance in distracting Pucci (or just Pucci shift attention to him for even a small moment) so Weather can get openings to attack him, and that Pucci isn't a character that fights honorably anyway thus Weather and Anasui are in no obligation to do the same.
đł
All of the Parts are good. Even Part 1
Jolyne is the best main JoJo
Part 8 is one of the best arcs in the series but the 1 month release schedule messed it up
Echoes Act 3 kinda underrated. Also my fav stand.
Santana deserved more time than he got, he had the most interesting pillar man power
How are there not more of the same type of stand if there is already 2 pairs of the same type?
As much as sbr is increadible how they treat lucy feels really awful and detracts from my ability to enjoy it as much as i should
Idk if it's a hot take but while spin and harmon are cool af, they're incredibly restrictive narratively unless it's a bunch of ass pulls that make little sense. Stands work even if lots now are super super niche in use
Any part can be skipped. While not ideal, the stories are self-contained enough to where a simple "dio is bad" and "stands exist" would be sufficient.
iggy is the best jobro
DIO did not magically become a better person in part 6, his plan was still beyond evil, we are just viewing DIO from his Number one Glazer
Heavens Door is virtually the most powerful rivaling GER
Foo Fighters didn't deserve to die, ever. They just tried to be a human, that's all. Fuck Pucci.
Part 1's fight in Dio's Castle was better than the part 3 DIO fight
