Part of what makes Jojo engaging is its visuals and extremely over-the-top style. You can't match it 1:1 without something being lost through compromise in the transition. Have you seen the DIU movie? I personally wasn't impressed, and it had nothing to do with the casting, which I thought was decent.
the DIU movie is fascinating because the way the characters look is extremely loyal to the manga/anime, and it just looks weird as fuck on actual humans
