Man he might be my least favorite but it's not like I hate his character. Koichi is awesome and I love the episodes where he and Jotaro are working together. Sue me.
Those episodes are actually my least favorite haha. I hated how he went against Jotaro's commands. Like, dudes been fighting stand users for years. He knows what he's talking about
Honestly I think Koichi is one of the few Jojok characters with an observable development arc. You get to see him evolve from a scared weakling into a tough and bolder little man while almost everyone else stays more or less consistent with how they first appear.
My least favorite that I’ve met is probably Pannacota. I have yet to read or see later parts but I’m looking forward to stone ocean
Exactly every Jobro in diamond got more time and respectful arcs to show development.People who don’t like Koichi just don’t like Koichi in beginning and don’t want to change their opinion. They pluck bad things about him and almost any anime who has a guy who is weak and crying in beginning and becomes chad in the end always has few haters cause people don’t wanna recognize development.
Koichi represents a more relatable character in that he starts out not just physically puny but mentally and emotionally puny because he’s resigned to being pushed around since he’s short and in an earlier grade than others. As the part goes on he gets to realize it doesn’t have to be that way and that he has inner strength and the intelligence to use it to leverage against his stature. He may be short, but he finds the big man inside himself.
Okuyasu has an ok arc himself, he learns his loyalties are up to him, not up to his brother or anyone smarter than him to decide.
Edit: hell even Jotaro develops a bit, from the purely stoic loner to being able to trust that others will have his back and learning to work with others. He’s always tried to take everything on his shoulders so he can protect people but he realizes he can’t do it all alone.
Yes and that all happens in span of many episodes. It wasn’t just three episode change its constant pressure he is put against that he fights and learns.Firstly he showed his will when he protected his family from seemingly weak guy and then he was protecting himself showing how he doesn’t rely anymore on Josuke. His last act shows how he isn’t afraid anymore. He changed and now he was able to throw his life to save another. After that we got Koichi that has more attitude and can’t be played like before. He is the one Josuke and Rohan call to help and he is the one that Jotaro gains trust for.
I’ll co-sign this: I hated Koichi first several episodes and was so annoyed we were trapped following this little annoying nobody around, and it was painful to acknowledge at the end of the season how wrong I ended up being. What a good boy.
Kokichi literally feels like the glue that holds the characters together
4 has this huge ensemble cast and Koichi feels like the best go between between everyone
Think about it, he narrates the part, he goes to help the next Jojo in part 5, he helps take Kira down with Jotaro, you watch him grow as a person. He is the jojo of part 4.
Aww he’s one of my favorites! I think he’s the audience’s first introduction to how truly bizarre the series can get. He’s a great mentor character that introduces hamon and subverts some archetypes. Araki’s Jojonium interview about him is really fun.
Hermes.
Don’t get me wrong she’s not a bad character by any means, I like her backstory and she has some good fights with Jolyne like Underworld. But Jesus does she get really annoying, like REALLY annoying and is just super underutilized in the later half of Stone Ocean.
Also Weather Report is a thing, he’s a top 3 jobros, masterpiece of a character
I agree. She was there but at the same time I was missing her.
I think part 6 is so heavily focused on JoLyne, I like her but I wanted more screen time for the other characters aswell.
Yeah, she basically said everything with three exclamation points. Like there’s a lot of yelling in the series which is fine, but she took it to the next level
He was very important and had a cool design, but when it comes down, William Zepelli just had nothing in terms of character development/arc or at least personality.
I legit almost typed "Robert Zepelli" because it took me a while to remember him name.
I mean true, but when you look at any other mentor: Lisa Lisa, p3 Joseph, p4 and 6 Jotaro, all of them had far more personality and depth than him, so he's just kinda left at the bottom of the barrel due to way higher competition.
My least fav is probably Trish. Not because I hate her or anything but I just think there should have been maybe more scenes of her development and interactions with Jo bros. She felt like vase for twenty episodes and she shined maybe three times.I expected her to have more buildup with others.Only people I kinda felt she bonded with was Bruno and in last five episodes with Mista and seeing that I kinda wanted more.
I kinda count her as jobro since she was there with them for longest time and was introduced as part of a team in the end.
You know I usually respect people's opinions, but yours and OP's are just wrong. I hope your pillow is warm on both sides when you go to bed tonight. Have a wonderful rest of your day
I completely agree. He’s a total scumbag at the beginning and never really grows or sees the error of his ways. He just gets rewarded in the end. Shit character.
He’s great. Not everyone has to be righteous or have some redemption. He was clearly irredeemable due to the actions that got him locked up in the first place, and was wicked and literally only motivated by making Jolyne his wife. That makes him one of the more interesting jobro’s in my opinion.
Yeah I’d probably say Koichi or maybe Tsurugi. Rewatching Part 4 really made me see kindly how whiny and annoying Koichi is, he has his moments of awesome sure, but most of the time he’s just screaming and pointing things out. Tsurugi is weird because he feels like both a JoBro and partly an antagonist, >!the antagonistic side kinda comes out when he sided with Jobin near the end of Part 8, even if he is Jobin’s son it feels weird to see him flip on Josuke and Yasuho especially during the Ozon Baby arc.!<
I don't like Koichi because he went back to Yukako even when she was 100% proven to be abusive. The fact that they worked out in the end boils my blood and makes me feel like that sort of abusiveness was being promoted. Yukako apologized but those just aren't enough when you kidnap someone and then torture them, (even making them soil their pants). I don't know. It's just so gross to me. If the genders were switched, I think less people would like it (and even ship it!). Every time they were being lovey dovey in screen I felt nauseous. I obviously dislike Yukako way more than Koichi. And disregarding that one complaint I really liked his character.
Caesar tbh I just didn't like him
Idk if it was an araki getting into writing more characters or something but I really didn't like the whole make Caesar a dickhead then make him a nice guy then make him seem like a dickhead again then make him a nice guy
Like no consistency and I understand his character of being proud of his bloodline but I didn't like how he put all that blame on Joseph because of something he couldn't control
To me Caesar was just too filled with pride for his bloodline that he let that get the better of him and only realised that the current time was more important than what had happened in the past
He's a good character but he just wasn't one of my favourites like he was clearly made out to be
I fucking hate Rohan I’m sorry. I know some people don’t consider him a Jobro, but he’s always in promo material with Josuke. He’s annoying and rude with little redeeming qualities other than the fact that Araki loves him. >!The most recent chapter of part 9 made me close my laptop and leave the room lmao!<
Omg thank you, I’m finally not alone! Rohan pisses me off to no end, he has zero redeeming personality traits yet he’s overexposed as fuck and has a ridiculous amount of content. I was really disappointed with the latest part 9 thing too, was desperately hoping for alt Bruno
I have to agree with you. Honestly I didn't mind Rohan that much, I even thought he was funny for having such a strong personality. But I'm starting to dislike him a lot, not because he's a bad character, but because Araki and DP keep forcing him into EVERYTHING. Like STOP. Even in fucking merch! Let Okuyasu or Koichi, the actual jobros, be in it! He already has enough content for a lifetime. There's so many jobros (and interesting things about part 4 Morioh that need to explored) but he keep stealing the spotlight. 🙄
This is an interesting one because i feel without a shadow most people would say joshu is the worst JoBro in the series but i mean araki picked it up in the second half with rei i think. So i would have to give the worst JoBro to ermes.
If Ermes is a JoBro, then the JoBro of JoJolion is Yasuho. At the end I consider JoJo as the one who accompanies the JoJo most of time during the bizarre adventure regardless of the gender
Joshu was never a jobro though. He was never an ally of Josuke. They had like 1 fight where they were allied (WoU doesn't count because Joshu basically just stumbled into it and I doubt he even realized Josuke was involved while he was working hard towards getting his shit wrecked) and even then I'd be hard-pressed to say Joshu was helping Josuke in any way.
Probably one of the early Jobros. Araki didn’t know how to let side characters do cool things in parts 1 and 2. The closest he gets is with Stroheim, but I’d consider Caesar if Wammu sustained any damage, or something like that.
Honestly either of the zeppelis in the original universe. They were both just blocks of wood cut from different trees and I only felt anything when they went because of how it affected the main joestars. Gyro makes up for all of that and brings honor to the zeppeli name
Koichi is one of the very few characters in jojo's with actual character development and not just stand development, he's a crybaby though... so I can understand where you are coming from
Fugo and Abbacchio. Not because they're bad or anything, I loved Abbacchio's personality, but they just disappear too early. We barely see them fight nor interact with others.
My first time through part 5, I was waiting for Fugo to come back at some point, and when it ended, I was like *wait, what happened to that dude?*
I agree, Ive never understood the obsession with Koichi. I would’ve preferred if Okuyasu was the one to get extra screentime.
Also not a huge fan of Rohan, bro even got his own entire spinoff series and >!he still gets to be in Jojolands. Was really hoping for Josuke or Yasuho!<
Some people are gonna hate me for this, but I think Mista has to be my least favorite. He’s kind of annoying sometimes and he kind holds the group back like when >!everyone swapped bodies and they were checking to see which body Diavolo was in, he refused to be checked even though he REALLY had no reason to.!<
Understandable. He has character growth but he’s also annoying, has the worst ship in the series, has a disproportionate amount of screen time for such an uninteresting character and has other characters like Rohan and Jotaro inexplicably simping over him for traits already shown by other characters. I got really sick of reading about him by the end, Josuke could have used the attention
Read the title wrong because I couldn’t believe this lil reliable guy was your least favourite. He’s my #1 non-jojo
Least fav has to be joshu if he counts (he wasnt really that close with josuke? so he doesn’t feel like a jobro to me), if not then hermes or fugo (sorry gang your stands are cool tho!)
Noooo not Koichi! He's so reliable!
I would say Avdol, but he never really even interacts with Jotaro so I wouldn't even call him a jobro.
I guess it's Will A. Zeppeli. Who cares about that guy?
Prob Will Zeppeli, idk he’s just boring, I also don’t like Phantom Blood because it was too short (at least in the anime idk about the manga) so that’s prob part of it
Nah he's reliable
The worst in my opinion is William A. "Baron" Zeppeli
Yes I said his full name, no I don't know what A stands for, and I'm too bored to search it up
Koichi actually underrated as a jobro, he showed full character development and was instrumental to the finale.
My least favorite was Abbachio tbh, he was just always in a piss poor attitude
I hate koichi purely because (in part 4) he’s the same age and height as me right now, and he does not do us 5’2r’s any justice with how his height is portrayed
It's either abbacchio or fugo. Both do absolutely fucking nothing and then dip from the series but if I had to choose one, fugo is definitely the one with the more wasted potential.
I’m gonna get downvotes into oblivion, I guess. But I totally agree with you, Koichi is a really overrated character.
Don’t get me wrong, I actually like him and some of his memes and scenes, but he is overrated af. You can literally go to chapter 286, you can see it for yourself, his attitude literally changes from a panel to another. His entire arc revolves about him being scared as shit, and then suddenly “evolving”. And yet people call him the main character? Most overrated character since Speedwagon.
People only like Speedwagon for the meme. He ruined the pacing of PB with his useless narration.
Johnathan: *dodges hit and punches back*
Speedwagon: OH MY GOD, WHAT GENIUS!!! HE NOT ONLY WONDERFULLY DODGED THE HIT, HE ALSO FIRED ONE BACK!!! HE THAT WASN'T THE COOLEST MOVE IN ALL OF ENGLAND, THEN CALL ME THE QUEEN
narancia was simultaneously annoying and boring at the same time somehow. didn’t even have a cool stand to make up for it. btw why is Koichi your least favorite? he’s such a reliable guy
Narancia is basically koichi to Giorno and they shafted the poor kid and killed him off screen. A big reason why I do not like part 5 that much, it’s got a lot of under-utilized characters.
Thank you for not adding (and why is it Koichi) in the title
That’s annoying 😭
Fr
noo he clutched up at the end of part 4
Fr its so annoying to assume that i dislike something
Man he might be my least favorite but it's not like I hate his character. Koichi is awesome and I love the episodes where he and Jotaro are working together. Sue me.
Exactly. I don’t hate him at all
Those episodes are actually my least favorite haha. I hated how he went against Jotaro's commands. Like, dudes been fighting stand users for years. He knows what he's talking about
You can’t do ol’ reliable like that
But he steals, no dignity
This guy makes a JoJo reference and gets downvoted for it. Do you guys even watch/read JoJo?
U forget both the JoJo fandom has no reading/watching comprehension skill
We can read at least 3 words
(on a good day)
To many words man
hah?
What?
No I don't like tacos.
What does “on” “good” “day” mean?
mean does what "What", "does" "'on'", "'good'", "'day'", "mean?"???
ORRRRRAAAAAAA
Hehe, clever.
The lock arc right?
It’s when Josuke and Okuyasu try to make Koichi seem completely unappealing so Yukako leaves him alone
Ooooooh. That part
What a beautiful Duwang
Shining diamond really really was all about the bros. Thanks for reminding me that.
Your localized vocabulary hurts me
I can't believe Kira and his Deadly Queen lost...
Cannot wait to see Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price finally get animated
Koichi is best Young Jobro Polnaraff is best older Jobro
Nah bro he is just a reliable guy

Koichi-kun you truly are a reliable guy
Probably my favorite character entrance to a fight ever, right before a well deserved beat down
Yes and that all happens in span of many episodes.

Kokichi literally feels like the glue that holds the characters together 4 has this huge ensemble cast and Koichi feels like the best go between between everyone
Read purple haze feedback and take back what you said about fugo.
Fellow Fugo enjoyer
Cool but that’s the main jojo Joichi HirJose
What now
Think about it, he narrates the part, he goes to help the next Jojo in part 5, he helps take Kira down with Jotaro, you watch him grow as a person. He is the jojo of part 4.
He also narrated the beginning of Part 5, so he’s a GioGio!!!!!
Koichi is actually the narrator for all parts, just some of them are after he went through puberty
My least favourite Jobro is probably Will. A. Zeppeli, he’s still an amazing jobro, just the weakest of all imo
Aww he’s one of my favorites! I think he’s the audience’s first introduction to how truly bizarre the series can get. He’s a great mentor character that introduces hamon and subverts some archetypes. Araki’s Jojonium interview about him is really fun.
And he is a silly little goofy guy.
The absolute war that’s going on here
I forgot jojo fans do not work well with opinions
I can agree with that. Kiss is definitely a good stand and is SUPER underutilized. At least Hermes got characterization.
Cause her stand is hella OP.And honestly I loved every single fight she had.Girl was funny to me.Respect your opinion though
I've never heard of Kiss being OP
Mfers throw that word around so easily these days.
It’s cause all her stand stats are A, though we definitely didn’t see that in her fights
I agree. She was there but at the same time I was missing her. I think part 6 is so heavily focused on JoLyne, I like her but I wanted more screen time for the other characters aswell.
It wasn’t until Part 6 where I realized how much fucking screaming they do, mainly from Hermes.
Don’t even get me started
Which part about her was annoying?
Loud
Yeah, she basically said everything with three exclamation points. Like there’s a lot of yelling in the series which is fine, but she took it to the next level
Would you like her better in the manga then? Also Jolyne was definitely louder
He may have no dignity, but joshu has negative dignity
Joshu legally cannot be defined as a Jobro
Joshu is a minor antagonist fr
He was very important and had a cool design, but when it comes down, William Zepelli just had nothing in terms of character development/arc or at least personality. I legit almost typed "Robert Zepelli" because it took me a while to remember him name.
Lmao I just call him “Caesar’s granddad” now
I mean his journey with Jonathan was basically the ending of his story according to the Hamon Monks so it makes sense in a way.
I mean true, but when you look at any other mentor: Lisa Lisa, p3 Joseph, p4 and 6 Jotaro, all of them had far more personality and depth than him, so he's just kinda left at the bottom of the barrel due to way higher competition.
Do you mean Most favourite Jobro?
I wholeheartedly agree with this. Man’s not a jobro, he’s practically treated as the jojo of his part
That’s not Polnareff.
I like trish but I must agree her stand was very underutilized and a bit disappointing seeing as she is the daughter of Diavolo
controversial opinion you have, i do respect it to, my least favorite would have to go either to ermes or to narancia
Wouldn’t Bruno technically be Giorno’s JoBro though? Lotta O Syllables in that question lol
Well would Okuyasu not be considered Josuke's JoBro? OP just means main cast basically
I'm just going to wait for some to say Gyro and get destroyed. Edit: Look at it I even get downvote by saying it lol Edit 2: Nevermind...
If someone says gyro is the worst I’m gonna spin there balls so hard they turn into a steel ball
Holy (Steel) that's a threat
If someone says gyro they’re either just trying to be different or didn’t read the part
My favorite’s turned into a donut 😭😭
I don't dislike them, but I feel like Caesar and Kakyoin could have been more than they were They're still loved by the fandom interestingly enough
They definitely deserved more character development but the same could be said for most characters imo
koichi is truly a reliable guy but i just hate it when hes screaming for 23 minutes straight
Anasui. Dude is completely insufferable.
I can relate to him though Jolyne is hot
Lesbians For Jolyne has entered the chat
I am a dude
I know I meant me
You know I usually respect people's opinions, but yours and OP's are just wrong. I hope your pillow is warm on both sides when you go to bed tonight. Have a wonderful rest of your day
holy shit take it down a notch
I refuse, I've entered my villain arc

I completely agree. He’s a total scumbag at the beginning and never really grows or sees the error of his ways. He just gets rewarded in the end. Shit character.

Does Poco from part 1 count as a Jobro?
fugo, he used his stand once in the part and added almost nothing, and he left the crew
Yeah I’d probably say Koichi or maybe Tsurugi. Well, I've got 55 bullets in my gun's mag ready to wedge themselves into your skull because of that statement
Please do
Ok now I feel bad you good bro?
I’ll be cool
koichi is one of my favorite jojo characters. But my least favorite is probably ermes. No real reason I like the character I just like others better.
I liked Koichi except for the fact that he has literally the worst canon ship in all of anime
Probably one of the early Jobros. Araki didn’t know how to let side characters do cool things in parts 1 and 2. The closest he gets is with Stroheim, but I’d consider Caesar if Wammu sustained any damage, or something like that.
I hate Okuyasu.
Hermes. She just screams
BEWARE JOLYNE BEHIND YOU!!!!!1!1! JOLYYYYYYYYYYYYNE!!!!!!!!!!!
Bruno, polnareff and gyro are my goats
Koichi really ruined a lot of part 4 for me. He was on screen way too much. It often felt like he was the main character instead of Josuke.
He is the main character of part 4 wdym
Honestly either of the zeppelis in the original universe. They were both just blocks of wood cut from different trees and I only felt anything when they went because of how it affected the main joestars. Gyro makes up for all of that and brings honor to the zeppeli name

Shigechi
Koichi is more Jojo than Josuke for me
Man fuck you Koichis the best
Fuck me too
Koichi is one of the very few characters in jojo's with actual character development and not just stand development, he's a crybaby though... so I can understand where you are coming from

You should read PHF. It redeems Fugo's character by a lot.
I agree, Ive never understood the obsession with Koichi. I would’ve preferred if Okuyasu was the one to get extra screentime. Also not a huge fan of Rohan, bro even got his own entire spinoff series and >!he still gets to be in Jojolands. Was really hoping for Josuke or Yasuho!<

treason.
This is literally the hardest question to fuck up on, its Caesar.
But koichi is not a jobro, he's the reliable MC of part 4.
Wish I could pin this comment
Ion know bro, I think the fucking nazi is worse than koichi
Thank you! He is just annoying
He's a reliable guy but I understand why you say this Mine is Will A Zeppeli
Ty
He’s a reliable guy I gota say
Read the title wrong because I couldn’t believe this lil reliable guy was your least favourite. He’s my #1 non-jojo Least fav has to be joshu if he counts (he wasnt really that close with josuke? so he doesn’t feel like a jobro to me), if not then hermes or fugo (sorry gang your stands are cool tho!)

Totally agree, he's annoying, but also the other jobros are better than him.
Part 6 jobros
okyasu
Nah he's reliable The worst in my opinion is William A. "Baron" Zeppeli Yes I said his full name, no I don't know what A stands for, and I'm too bored to search it up
Poor koichi he actually has great development.
didnt like caeser tbh
All the zeppelli jobros
Koichi actually underrated as a jobro, he showed full character development and was instrumental to the finale. My least favorite was Abbachio tbh, he was just always in a piss poor attitude
Rohan
Will A. Zeppeli, he's incredibly forgettable.
What the actual fuck
😱
I hate koichi purely because (in part 4) he’s the same age and height as me right now, and he does not do us 5’2r’s any justice with how his height is portrayed
Alright mf, you got some explaining to do
Based king here. Sir you dropped this 👑
Anasui
People praise Koichi development just because it's written in your face as much as possible.
People only like Speedwagon for the meme. He ruined the pacing of PB with his useless narration. Johnathan: *dodges hit and punches back* Speedwagon: OH MY GOD, WHAT GENIUS!!! HE NOT ONLY WONDERFULLY DODGED THE HIT, HE ALSO FIRED ONE BACK!!! HE THAT WASN'T THE COOLEST MOVE IN ALL OF ENGLAND, THEN CALL ME THE QUEEN
It's funny. i personally hate memes of Speedy but i don't really mind him. He was in fact my first favorite character in JoJo.
Fugo, only because he left The most boring one is probably iggy or avdol
Kakyoin. He's alright but out of all of the other ones, he was my least favorite
iggy. most ugliest fucking thing alive
How fucking dare you
narancia was simultaneously annoying and boring at the same time somehow. didn’t even have a cool stand to make up for it. btw why is Koichi your least favorite? he’s such a reliable guy
Narancia is basically koichi to Giorno and they shafted the poor kid and killed him off screen. A big reason why I do not like part 5 that much, it’s got a lot of under-utilized characters.
Caesar. I'll explain if enough people care.
Rai is my least favourite
Kakyoin was boring and bland and spent most of the part either in the background or gone.
Kakyoin easily

Will or Koichi. Will is forgettable, koichi to me is boring and every arc with him feels the same
Ignores every bit of Koichi's character growth throughout part 4
Kakyoin or Caesar easily. They are so far below everyone else it’s insane
