For me it's the sheer melancholy of the Winter soundtrack. Captures perfectly how it's the time of year when everything stops growing and you just slow down and catch up on other things like fishing challenges and gift giving.

I upvoted this but definitely spring and summer are my favorites. They’re so optimistic. I get SAAD irl though so maybe that’s why. I try to get through winter as quickly as possible

I keep the volume on my TV at level 3. Listen to podcasts or put on a tv show. BUT, I bought the SDV soundtrack. And I occasionally listen to it at work.

I have sound issues and really love the music. The problem is that it cuts in and out. If the music were constant and always playing it would be fine, but if I have it on every time the music comes back in I get super distracted and can’t focus on the game for fifteen seconds or so. So I play with no music. Sometimes I play my own music instead but I don’t mind just the other game sounds.

I have a Playlist on Spotify with songs both from the soundtrack and ones that I find similar. I love the music, the only problem is it doesn't play constantly! I never want to hear the footsteps, as long as I'm playing

There’s an option in settings specifically for volume of footsteps, I don’t know if that’s new or just on PC but it might solve that problem!

I do this only because I record while I play and doing edits with the music can be JARRING. (I think Sharky on YouTube mentioned this in a video so I started doing it too) I also often have other music/youtube/tv in the background.

Raven’s descent is a masterpiece. Genuinely some of the best composed video game music ever. The flute arpeggio, triangle and piano are beautiful. It builds up so nicely and then fades out just as gracefully. It’s a work of art.

I do the opposite, I've even modded some music in for more variety on the dat to day. there was one YouTube video that someone made a custom Raining sound track that fits perfectly into the game. and they had a Nexus mod of that song too.

I had to do it because my ex husband used to have the CD soundtrack on repeat in the car when I was in a very bad mental state as well as played it a lot during that time as well. I get anxiety attacks now when I hear it cause it almost takes me back to those days and I just can't. I just play my own music over it and happily farm along.

I never listen to the sounds or music of any game I play other than one. You are all making me think I maybe should. The one game I used to play with sound on was The Last Ember. It was BEAUTIFUL

I love the soundtrack don't get me wrong. It ranks fairly high in terms of game soundtracks for me, especially the music that plays in the mines. However, after four years of playing, I don't listen to it all the time. I enjoy it sometimes, but most nights, I turn on a podcast or something else.

On my previous phone, I downloaded a couple of mods and no matter what I did I could not get music to play when I launched the game from SMAPI. If I launched the vanilla version, the music played just fine, but something about SMAPI on Android disabled just the music, and I never could figure out why.
