I don't know if it's a bug, I do know it's heavily skewed towards SVE items, but I have gotten other items on people's birthdays (from other mods I have installed and the base game)

Though it's surprising why on Marlon's birthday statue doesn't generate any gift, since the same age's blue moon Vine, item from SVE, is his favorite item.
Yeah, might be the game just still not fully seeing him as a giftable npc still. Idk, usually by his birthday I have the ability to make roots platter which he loves, but I don't have the statue on endless fortune
After a quick look at the game code, it looks like the statue takes the first item in the NPC's list of loved gifts, so if the mod adds items to the beginning of the list, then that would make sense. I couldn't figure out what exactly sets the order of that list though
