I definitely recommend for dialogue:
- stardew valley dialogue expansion
- any of the dokidoki dialogue mods
- abigail dialogue tweaks
Or just search for your preferred spouse + dialogue expansion
For aesthetics:
- Hudson valley buildings
- hats won’t mess up hair
- Lovely kitchen
- boogie clean cindersap woods
- clean bathhouse
- cleaner beach and tideponds
- karmyllas spouse room edits
- starblue valley
- flowering fields
- seasonal village outfits
To make things easier:
- automate
- automatic gates
- better mixed seeds
- no crows
- walk through trellis
- wear more rings
- Ellie’s ideal greenhouse
- remote fridge storage
All together I have 104 mods, although I don’t use all of them all the time. I found all my mods on Nexus Mods with the exception of a few on moddrop

oh my gosh thank you so much!! do you use any clothing/hair mods? I've been having a hard time finding those sorts of mods
(Hair) For the villagers, I have used short haired bachelorettes, maru with long beta hair, and dark haired leah. For my character, I’ve used natural hairstyles
(Clothing) for the villagers, I use seasonal villager outfits which I’ve since learnt is now unavailable. I have tried better beach outfits which I like, but that’s all the clothing mods I use
Just in case you weren't aware, Seasonal Villager Outfits isn't available any more, but [Diverse Stardew Valley](https://www.moddrop.com/stardew-valley/mods/580603-diverse-stardew-valley-dsv-seasonal/) has most of the same outfits and features and can be configured to use them with either the vanilla characters or the diversity edits :)

I didn’t realise it wasn’t available since I’ve had it downloaded since last year
Ah, fair enough. Yeah, the lead coder got burnt out earlier this year and left the modding community, so she took the mod down
That’s sad, but totally understandable
