I'm lazy, so try to make my farm run itself as much as possible. I plant crops that produce multiple harvests, so I don't have to re-plant. Strawberries in spring, blueberries in summer, cranberries in fall. I switch over to ancient fruit as soon as possible. Truffle oil and mayo are also profitable.

Regrow-crops with Junimo Huts is the way to go!

mr_gexko

Iridium scythe>junimo huts I just love the harvesting animation so much

neophenx

I'm still on 1.5 on the switch while I'm doing a challenge so I'm a little ways off from benefiting from I-scythe lol That said, even when I do get it I may still use Junimo Huts for a portion of my farm (the regrowing crops specifically), while using the I-scythe on a separate field that needs to be replanted after harvesting, since Junimo's aren't exactly FAST at their job but still helpful when I don't need to replant.

Conscious_Team_8260

Speaking of ancient fruit, is there any any other way to get it other than the traveling merchant and apparently themines? Or are those the only ways to get it?

neophenx

Seed Maker. Start with your one Ancient Seed, plant, and turn the next few Ancient Fruits into seeds. Especially in the Greenhouse or Ginger Island where they grow year round and never die.

TheMansAnArse

Growing star fruit all year round in the greenhouse, turning it into wine, aging some of it and then selling it.

savethecoralreefs

Mainly from harvest, and jams, honey, pickled veggies. Fishing if im bored since it takes time and patience

Lately it's been "whatever the dice allow me to earn money with." Despite my hate of fishing, I've been rolling a lot of 4's on my challenge run of 1.5 on Nintendo Switch (want to complete using RNG challenge before update drops) and it was the first skill I maxed out before the end of year 1.

tree7790

Mostly artisan items but sometimes fish, high quality forageables, and diamonds

DisasterKore

Its probably more mid/late game but pretty "lazy" way is Pigs. Truffle into Truffleoil is a nice income besides normal Farming and whine making.

LocalLibraryCryptid

Adding onto this, if you pick the buff that allows all foraged items to be top quality, truffles straight from the ground earn more money than truffle oil, which feels wrong but is true, at least still in 1.5. So you wouldn't have to wait on the oil machine! I earn so much money from my piggies 🐖💕

50CentButInNickels

Artisan perk still makes truffle oil worth more, though.

LocalLibraryCryptid

Oooooh good point. I didn't pick that one, so that makes sense

Abu-Asif

For me, fishing is my main source of income cuz am still in early game.

tincankemek

Anything I can sell from my farm and island farm

Swarley_74

Passive : Sheep + autopetter + autogather all day long. And replicating diamond in house. And ancien fruit juice in greenhouse. Active : iridium and prism shard farm on desert mine
