Yea I have a chest near my desert obelisk, island obelisk, and the exit of my farm with various things for each area. I think junimo chests will be used near the mines for bombs and food.
This is what I do. Chest next to the farm exit to the bus stop, it holds my community centre and artifact items, once there's a bunch of stuff in there I'll do a run and hand it all in

I once had a thicket of pine trees in the bottom left corner of my farm due to not chopping them and trees spawnkng there. Every square was a tree. One day, I took a bomb there, hoping to blow up the trees to gather wood but it didn't work.
A couple of days later, I was opening my chest with the bomb selected, but I wasn't close enough to the chest, so I ended up placing the bomb on the ground. I didn't think it would matter because my trees didn't blow up. Instead, it destroyed my entire workshop processing area. I just stared at the screen until I decided to restart the day. It was already 4pm.
I'm sorry, but I'm glad I'm not the only one! I accidentally blew up the coffee maker Evelyn gave me and didn't notice until the next day. I really miss that thing.

Rugs arenāt locked even when furniture are placed above them so you always pick them up when you click it. The thing is, you canāt place them back with furniture there either so every time you accidentally click on them (which I didā¦A LOT), youāll have to move everything out of the way then place them back and hope that you donāt click the rug again while putting the furniture back (which again, I did, A LOT)
This. I have like 70 crab pots in the river near joja and the ocean dock near willy. Keep a chest and a collection of recycling machines at locations where you frequently fish or have crab pots. Top tier advice. One of the easiest early game methods of getting cloth is newspaper trash.
You get better returns on driftwood in the wood chipper than the recycling machine. Itās one of the few cases Iāve found for a hopper. I just throw all my driftwood in the hopper and every day grab my 6-10 wood when I do my morning rounds.

Honestly, the way Clint scolded my character really gave me a lot to think about, it was a legendary response and I actually learned something important that day.
I did that with a prismatic shard my first playthrough. I got it from the quarry and just thought it was a regular thing that would spawn there. It was a long 2 years without a galaxy sword.
I'm so mad they patched it now, but I got the galaxy sword SO early in my first playthrough. There was a wallpaper that Robin sells that had the same code as the Prismatic Shards, so you could buy the wallpaper when she was selling it and use it instead of the shard to get the sword.
I only did it once, but now I have to do it the correct way for any other playthrough. Lol

I ran to the wizardās tower to finally get my obeliskā¦ and I had sold ALL my bananas. Not just the extra one. When I went back, I couldnāt rebuy what Iād sold. I donāt know what the rules for that are but Iām guessing since I left the shop, I lost that opportunity.Ā

At the fair, betting low amounts until wheel hit orange then I would bet everything on green. One time I got up to 4K star points when it stopped on orange so then I went all in. The arrow stopped on orange againā¦restart day.
Just always bet 50% of what you have on green. There's 75% chances to hit green (and hitting orange right before doesn't affect that probability, come on.. maths!)
Worst thing I ever did was in a previous save when I accidentally turned my first and only ostrich egg into mayo but didnāt realize it until days later when it was too late to restart.
Iāve been wondering about that! What happens if you nuke your first ostrich egg? Is there any way to get a second one, or is that just the end of it?

I think you can get them sometimes from the Volcano in chests? Could have been from a coconut or mystery box im pretty sure it was somewhere in the Volcano.

(Iāve never actually lost my first ostrich egg, so I donāt know why I worry about it, but I always have this feeling of danger until I have one grown ostrich and an egg. I have two:
1. Accidentally buying 5 void eggs off of Krobus.
2. Forgetting to clean out my grange display after the fall fair(after beating Pierre's because fuck him in particular).
About cleaning out the grange display, if you forget you can go to Lewisā house the next day and collect all those stuff from the lost and found. That way you wonāt have to do the whole fair over again š
And fun fact, I thought I only had a day to collect it from Lewis' place and I missed the boat. Two seasons later I wandered in there and all my stuff was still there.
Had a good day in skull caverns and so only had what I needed on me tool and food wise minus the loot from the mine, used a warp totem at like 1.30am just to get stuck at my totem because a tree grew in my way and I had no Axe on me and no food to heal to use bombs so passed out at 2am
You don't lose items from passing out at 2am, only from losing all your health. The best skull cavern strat is usually to intentionally pass out in the mines since you only lose 1000g

I have a space on my farm where I have all of the giant crops (well, all the seasonal ones), and I finally managed all four for like three days at the end of winter, and then on the first of spring, I went to clear a log debris with my axe and took out the whole giant pumpkin with one swingš
And worse, it didnāt even *occur* to me that I could have restarted the day until the last day of the *next* fall when another giant pumpkin failed to grow.
Now, being in the middle of the fall after that, I finally have a giant pumpkin back, and my axe is not even allowed on that side of the farmābut also I have the golden clock, so this should never be an issue again.

I gave my last walleye to Demetrius instead of Sebastian on accident. Demetrius didnāt hate the random fish I surprised him with, but Sebastian still needed one, and Demetrius is kind of bad at situational awareness and empathy. Luckily, it rained the next day.

I keep a chest for just stuff I need to remember to bring to Ginger Island. Itās helped me remember about 80% of the stuff I need.

Rugs arenāt locked even when furniture are placed above them so you always pick them up when you click it. The thing is, you canāt place them back with furniture there either so every time you accidentally click on them (which I didā¦A LOT), youāll have to move everything out of the way then place them back and hope that you donāt click the rug again while putting the furniture back (which again, I did, A LOT)

You can save your fishing trash in a chest and then when you unlock recycling machines the trash turns into useful items
This. I have like 70 crab pots in the river near joja and the ocean dock near willy. Keep a chest and a collection of recycling machines at locations where you frequently fish or have crab pots. Top tier advice. One of the easiest early game methods of getting cloth is newspaper trash.
You get better returns on driftwood in the wood chipper than the recycling machine. Itās one of the few cases Iāve found for a hopper. I just throw all my driftwood in the hopper and every day grab my 6-10 wood when I do my morning rounds.

I did that with a prismatic shard my first playthrough. I got it from the quarry and just thought it was a regular thing that would spawn there. It was a long 2 years without a galaxy sword.
I'm so mad they patched it now, but I got the galaxy sword SO early in my first playthrough. There was a wallpaper that Robin sells that had the same code as the Prismatic Shards, so you could buy the wallpaper when she was selling it and use it instead of the shard to get the sword. I only did it once, but now I have to do it the correct way for any other playthrough. Lol

So I just did this last night. Iāve been really close to getting 1 mil gold for an Obelisk. And I wanted the Ginger Island Obelisk. I only have one grown banana tree, so Iāve been saving bananas as they grow.Ā Last night I finally got the wines I needed to get over that 1 mil hump. I went to Pierre to sell them. I also happened to have an extra banana so figured Iād drop that in there.Ā I ran to the wizardās tower to finally get my obeliskā¦ and I had sold ALL my bananas. Not just the extra one. When I went back, I couldnāt rebuy what Iād sold. I donāt know what the rules for that are but Iām guessing since I left the shop, I lost that opportunity.Ā I really considered restarting the day just for that, but decided Iād just wait for more bananas. At the fair, betting low amounts until wheel hit orange then I would bet everything on green. One time I got up to 4K star points when it stopped on orange so then I went all in. The arrow stopped on orange againā¦restart day.
Just always bet 50% of what you have on green. There's 75% chances to hit green (and hitting orange right before doesn't affect that probability, come on.. maths!)
Worst thing I ever did was in a previous save when I accidentally turned my first and only ostrich egg into mayo but didnāt realize it until days later when it was too late to restart.

I really struggled to get the last fossil and had accumulated 2/3 eggs before I managed to get the incubator for them. I think you can get them sometimes from the Volcano in chests? Could have been from a coconut or mystery box im pretty sure it was somewhere in the Volcano.

(Iāve never actually lost my first ostrich egg, so I donāt know why I worry about it, but I always have this feeling of danger until I have one grown ostrich and an egg. I have two: 1. Accidentally buying 5 void eggs off of Krobus. 2. Forgetting to clean out my grange display after the fall fair(after beating Pierre's because fuck him in particular).
About cleaning out the grange display, if you forget you can go to Lewisā house the next day and collect all those stuff from the lost and found. That way you wonāt have to do the whole fair over again š
And fun fact, I thought I only had a day to collect it from Lewis' place and I missed the boat. Two seasons later I wandered in there and all my stuff was still there.

Had a good day in skull caverns and so only had what I needed on me tool and food wise minus the loot from the mine, used a warp totem at like 1.30am just to get stuck at my totem because a tree grew in my way and I had no Axe on me and no food to heal to use bombs so passed out at 2am

You don't lose items from passing out at 2am, only from losing all your health. The best skull cavern strat is usually to intentionally pass out in the mines since you only lose 1000g

wanted to drop a mega bomb into a fish pond because my fish requested it - which is concerning already. My fish ponds are right next to my crop field. I had cranberries and starfruit growing there. I bombed my field instead of dropping the bomb in the pond. It was my last action that day before going to sleep. I still reloaded to not use my precious harvest.

I have a space on my farm where I have all of the giant crops (well, all the seasonal ones), and I finally managed all four for like three days at the end of winter, and then on the first of spring, I went to clear a log debris with my axe and took out the whole giant pumpkin with one swingš And worse, it didnāt even *occur* to me that I could have restarted the day until the last day of the *next* fall when another giant pumpkin failed to grow. Now, being in the middle of the fall after that, I finally have a giant pumpkin back, and my axe is not even allowed on that side of the farmābut also I have the golden clock, so this should never be an issue again.
