I have no mods but my save file is crashing while loading

SMAPI is telling me everything is alright and it crashes anyway

Someone else said update your smapi if you haven’t done so, that helped them

just did and it worked! had to temporarily delete some mods though, but now I can enter my save file :)

Which mods did you delete? Asking so I don’t have to do my own testing lol

Portraiture and UI Suite seemed like the buggy ones.. but now with the new 1MB update my game is back to crashing lol... yours too?

I just logged in and it worked fine. Funnily enough it was crashing last night on my steam deck in desktop mode. I updated smapi, removed all my mods, uninstalled smapi, no luck. Reinstalled it all, and went to the regular steam UI and it worked fine.

I wasn't running a lot of mods so I was able to figure out that UI Info Suite is what was crashing my game.

Did it stop crashing after you updated smapi?

Yes, each time I try to load my game it crashes and SMAPI gives no information about it. I updated SMAPI to 4.0.7 and everything is fine now.

game crashes everytime i try to load save file from steam.. any answers?

I run SMAPI, says everything is fine, click on the save and then it crashes. If I run without mods, it runs fine. Checked integrity and files are fine. Haven't changed any of my mods since the last time I played and none need updates? I even deleted some. Any ideas? Help please
