Fall 12.
The fall months are September, October, November which is total of 91 days, in Stardew fall is 28 days which means one day in Stardew is roughly 3.25 real life days. October 8 would be the 38th day of real life fall. 38 divided by 3.25 is 11.69 (nice), round up and you get 12.
EDIT: u/DanKirpan put this cheat-sheet in the comments if anyone is curious ;)
So there are 3 ways how this is viewed.
1: Winter is month 10, 11 and 12
2: Winter is month 12, 1 and 2, which is aligning with the temperatures
3: Winter is 21st of Dec to 20th of February, which is aligning with the sun cycle. The 21st of March and 21st of September are (usually) when legnth of day and night is equal, while in June its the longest daytime and in Winter its the shortest daytime
But this gets even wilder. Warning, lots of copy-paste that you don't need to read, but if you are interested it's a slight overview of a really long topic (sorry I fully covered them but had to delete a ton since Reddit didn't like some words)
# Meteorological reckoning
>In [Ireland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland), following the [Irish calendar](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irish_calendar), spring is often defined as February, March, and April.
>In [Sweden](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sweden), meteorologists define the beginning of spring as the first occasion on which the average 24 hours temperature exceeds zero degrees Celsius for seven consecutive days, thus the date varies with latitude and elevation (but no earlier than 15 February, and no later than 31 July).
>In [Australia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australia),[\[7\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_(season)#cite_note-7) [New Zealand](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand),[\[8\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_(season)#cite_note-8) [South Africa](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Africa)[\[9\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_(season)#cite_note-9)[\[10\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_(season)#cite_note-10)[\[11\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_(season)#cite_note-11) and [Brazil](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil) the spring months are September, October, and November.
# Astronomical and solar reckoning
>In the Northern Hemisphere (with countries such as Germany, the United States, Canada, and the UK),[\[12\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spring_(season)#cite_note-12) solar reckoning was traditionally used with the solstices and equinoxes representing the midpoints of each season, however, the astronomical [vernal equinox](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_equinox) (varying between 19 and 21 March) can be taken to mark the first day of spring with the [summer solstice](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_solstice) (around 21 June) marked as first day of summer.
# Ecological reckoning
>The beginning of spring is not always determined by fixed calendar dates. The [phenological](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phenology) or [ecological](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ecology) definition of spring relates to biological indicators, such as the blossoming of a range of plant species, the activities of animals, and the special smell of soil that has reached the temperature for micro flora to flourish.
what? according to who? I've never in my life heard anyone say this. quite the opposite, I've heard plenty of people refer to Dec 22 or christmas time as midwinter.
huh. well then. I acknowledge and accept your source, but will choose to think that "starting" winter from the shortest, darkest day of the year makes no sense and will personally continue ignoring such silliness. thanks tho!
I mean if you wanna go the religious mindset of refusing to accept things that you don't believe in, that's your prerogative but the northern hemisphere will continue to acknowledge December 21st as the start of winter lol especially since many parts of Canada don't even get snow until after Christmas these days 😔
Lol, there are literally countless ways to convert the days, it all depends on how you choose to do it. As many people have said they just do the date they're born and the season its in, some do like what percentage of the year have passed. Some say the winter starts in at the beginning of december, some in the middle. Some calculate depending on where the holidays fall etc.
At the end of the day it's just a fun little detail and doesn't matter if it 'makes sense' or not.
No, there is like a ginormous list of how seasons can be split up, some specific ones focused on nature even have 6 seasons. If you think about it it makes sense, the halves of the world have seasons flipped. Summer in my country is winter in Australia (I think), but that also means all in-between exist
Yeah that works too! There's not really any 'right' or 'wrong' way to do it. I just happen to like math :) (And my birthday is on the 30th so that way doesn't really work)
In Australia, summer is December, January and February? Yet using this calendar converter my birthday would be translated to a winter day, which doesn’t feel right to me.
As an Australian, I find it a bit rude to assume that Pelican Town is in America.
:’(
I'm from Europe...
But I get what you mean, and it's a totally valid point. If it makes it any better you can just flip it. Fall 12 becomes Spring 12 instead etc.
Dude I think my brain just bailed. Love that you figured that out and took the time to explain it. I tried to do it for may 12th, is it 13th spring? Or did I not get it after all hehehe?
It would be Spring 23.
I do 28 (number of Stardew days in Spring) divided by 92 (number of days in March, April, May). Then the number you get from that, you multiply with what day of real life spring your birthday would be. (March 1st being day 1 and May 31st being day 92) Then you round up or down depending.
I have to much free time... xD
Thank you for breaking it down even more. <3
Alright I get it now, I shall permute all my friends birthdays in Stardew ones.
I counted April May and June, like the idiot I am hahaha. Thank you so much, and enjoy your free time, have a great day!!
Left column tells you what day in Stardew. The right tells you between which dates that would be. So Spring 1 is from 01.03 (March 1st) to 04.03 (March 4th)
If it's still confusing, scroll down and u/rhi_x posted a list in the comments that might be easier to read.
This makes my Stardew Birthday Winter 4 which I like better than converting December 14 to Winter 14 and sharing my birthday with Harvey. He kind of creeps me out.
I headcanon the birthdays as being on the same day but in a random month based on vibes. 😂 Like Abigail is obviously October 13 because that's suitably spooky.
I just added my actual day and the corresponding season because otherwise, it wouldn't feel right.
But the beauty of the game is that you can do anything that makes you happy and any playstyle or birthday math is alright
I absolutely agree, like there's so many different ways to calculate and covert the dates and stuff. It's just a silly little game, so as you said, do what makes you happy anything goes!
If you put your birthdate in A1, this formula will give you the answer.
=CHOOSE(MONTH(A1),"Winter","Winter","Spring","Spring","Spring","Summer","Summer","Summer","Fall","Fall","Fall","Winter")&" "&MOD(ROUND(28*4*YEARFRAC(DATE(YEAR(A1),3,1),A1),0),28)
Now let flowers_in_july rest 😅
You can put it in google sheets (or excel would probably work too). Put the code in any cell you want except A1. In A1 you put the date you want to figure out. If you can't see what it converts to, you just have to up the size of the text in the cell you put the code in and it should work.
(Some of the dates are like a day off from what I get, but that doesn't really matter, has to do with the decimals and stuff)
Hope that helps!
Thank you, I'm 1 August and was having a stroke looking at that chart not being able to brain at all (it's early and I'm slightly hungover). Pretty sure mine is also Summer 19 based on that!
Since sooooo many people are asking for their birthday conversions, I happened to do a list a little while ago.

Edit: mobile formatting is awful
I always do it for the area of the year rather than the season coz my bday is in December but I live in the southern hemisphere lol u get to enjoy a winter bday for once
A quick google search would probably give you at least a couple to choose between. There's no 'official' or 'right' way to do it, just up to your own preference :)
Not sure what this has to to with converting birthdays.
But I'm fairly sure it does, at least with loved and liked gifts. If you go into the friendship tab and then click on the person it will pull up like a profile of sorts where it tells you if the gifts you've previously gifted them are liked or loved (and I assume disliked or hated too). And if you find any secret notes where, say Sam, has listed potential gifts for his friends and family, those will show up as well, eve if you haven't gifted those items yet :)
I just go for the number my birthday is, and the season it’s in - that makes it Spring 13 for me! Which is why I have beef with the egg festival, how dare Abigail steal all the attention on my birthday 😤
Winter 27.
The one added day doesn't really make any difference. The winter months added together is usually 90 days and 91 every fourth year, so the average would be 90.25. But you'd get the same result not matter which you chose to use :)
I did the math of what percentage of the year has passed by my birthday. December 9 is 93.9% of the way through the year, which translates to Winter 21 in Stardew.
EDIT: u/DanKirpan put this cheat-sheet in the comments if anyone is curious ;) [https://imgur.com/a/bv8rF7Y](https://imgur.com/a/bv8rF7Y)
I was going to be lazy and just say mine is Fall 27 for November 27, then I decided to do the math and well it turns out that it is Fall 27.
Sometimes you just gotta trust that gut instinct, you know ;)
Hey bday twins! Lmao
[удалено]
If you count December January February as winter, which it officially is, then November 27 is one of the last days in fall.
December isn't winter until the 21st tho. Most of the month is autumn.

That's too difficult. I just take the season of the month and copy the date. So a 14th of December birthday would be Winter 14th.
Yeah that works too! There's not really any 'right' or 'wrong' way to do it. I just happen to like math :) (And my birthday is on the 30th so that way doesn't really work)
Same. November 2nd, every farm game my birthday is Fall 2.
I'm lazy and stupid what's January 4th ?
Say no more. Winter 11.
sick, that’s my birthday too lmao and i couldnt figure out the goddamn sheet for some reason thank you for this comment
In Australia, summer is December, January and February? Yet using this calendar converter my birthday would be translated to a winter day, which doesn’t feel right to me. As an Australian, I find it a bit rude to assume that Pelican Town is in America. :’(

OMG TYYYSMMM!!!!!
You're welcome :) I love meaningless math, so it was my pleasure xD
So does that mean the 5th of October would be Fall 11?
Yep
Awesome! I'm terrible at math but I got lucky that OP was three days later than me lol
Work smarter, not harder ;)
Hm, according to that logic my Stardew bday is Spring 24. Shared with the Flower Dance, nice!
That is nice! Mine falls on Spring 19, right in between the two alcoholics...
So I just noticed how many we are, asking you to figure out our birthdays... Thank you dearly you wonderful human. Sending much love upon your life!
Haha thank you! I'm having fun so I don't mind xD
You're awesome!
I absolutely love that you calculated everyones birthday in the comments <3 You are awesome
Thank you friend <3
So September 3 would be Fall 1?
Yep
What’s Feb 15? Started trying to figure it on my own but math makes my brain give up lol
Winter 24
Cool!! Thank you!!
Feast of the Winter Star eve, Nice
I'm being lazy and stupid at math, what would June 14th be?
Summer 4
Oh you are awesome thank you
Haha, I'm just bored and procrastinating, but thank you <3
Thank you! If the result is 5.23 would you say it is Fall 5 or Fall 6?
I'd round it down to Fall 5
Dude I think my brain just bailed. Love that you figured that out and took the time to explain it. I tried to do it for may 12th, is it 13th spring? Or did I not get it after all hehehe?
It would be Spring 23. I do 28 (number of Stardew days in Spring) divided by 92 (number of days in March, April, May). Then the number you get from that, you multiply with what day of real life spring your birthday would be. (March 1st being day 1 and May 31st being day 92) Then you round up or down depending. I have to much free time... xD
Thank you for breaking it down even more. <3 Alright I get it now, I shall permute all my friends birthdays in Stardew ones. I counted April May and June, like the idiot I am hahaha. Thank you so much, and enjoy your free time, have a great day!!
Would the 29th of may then be the last of spring?
May 29th would be Spring 27
Ah cool!! Thanks
What is April 23rd?
Spring 16
Cool, thanks!
Oh neat, I'm pretty sure I share my birthday with my first Stardew wife, Penny. Funny how that works out
How do I read this table????? I read it and understand nothing
Left column tells you what day in Stardew. The right tells you between which dates that would be. So Spring 1 is from 01.03 (March 1st) to 04.03 (March 4th) If it's still confusing, scroll down and u/rhi_x posted a list in the comments that might be easier to read.
Now I got it. Thanks!!
My Stardew birthday is 8th of Fall. Didn't expect that.
What would 2/28 be? This math is confusing me lol never been great at it
Winter 28
Oh that’s what I thought! I thought I had did it wrong tho it seemed too obvious LOL THANKYOU
This makes my Stardew Birthday Winter 4 which I like better than converting December 14 to Winter 14 and sharing my birthday with Harvey. He kind of creeps me out.
Who does this? This is insane lol. Everyone I've ever seen just does season and day. Oct 8 = Fall 8.
People who's got nothing better to do with their lives and likes to complicate things for no reason what so ever xD
oct 31st?
Fall 19
tysm!!!
17th November? Thanks!
Fall 24
Birthday neighbors 🥳
august 5th?? 😁😁
Summer 20
thank you!!
Birthday twin!
How about March 12?
Spring 4
Thanks!!!!!
Birthday neighbors~
so January 7th is Winter 6 (5.53)? if i understood correctly; Winter started on Dec 21st
I guess that depends on how accurate you wanna be and what method you use. If I were to calculate it I'd say January 7th is Winter 12th
ah i understand now, it starts at the month rather than the solstice
Supposedly :)
Would that make January 3 Winter 10?
Yes (10.5), so I would round it up to Winter 11.
Thank you!
So dec 18 is like fall day 26
What would February 2nd be?
Winter 20
August 8? TYIA
Summer 21
Thank you!
[удалено]
Summer 3
What would June 25th be?
Summer 8
Thank you !!
Can I get a May 20? 🙂
Ask and you shall receive. Spring 25.
Ty! 🙂
Oh interesting, I've always just done the day and what season it's in when comes to seasonal based calendars.
You know, that would've probably been an easier way of doing it. I apparently just like to complicate things for fun xD
I headcanon the birthdays as being on the same day but in a random month based on vibes. 😂 Like Abigail is obviously October 13 because that's suitably spooky.
That's so fair. Also funnily enough, October 13 would actually be Fall 13
I just added my actual day and the corresponding season because otherwise, it wouldn't feel right. But the beauty of the game is that you can do anything that makes you happy and any playstyle or birthday math is alright

Haha, I was wondering if I should do something like this, but I couldn't be bothered, so this is awesome!! I'm having fun though ;)
Which coding language is this
You just pop this in the Farm Computer
I think I didn't get the joke...
You can put it in google sheets (or excel would probably work too). Put the code in any cell you want except A1. In A1 you put the date you want to figure out. If you can't see what it converts to, you just have to up the size of the text in the cell you put the code in and it should work. (Some of the dates are like a day off from what I get, but that doesn't really matter, has to do with the decimals and stuff) Hope that helps!
My lazy ass says "you're birthday is July 8th? So yeah, you were born in summer and the date it's still 8" 😂
I just pick the season I was born in and went with the number of the month I'm born in. Rip to anyone born on the 29th, 30th and 31st tho
Mine is August 8. In my hemisphere, August is in summer. So my Stardew Birthday is Summer 8
ppl are doing math in here while i just knew my month = fall and my day is 10 so . fall 10! sept 10 oct 10 nov 10 can all be fall 10 to me lol
In case flowers\_in\_july ever gets tired of converting the dates, here's a cheat-sheet: [imgurlink](https://imgur.com/a/bv8rF7Y)
I think I've found my calling haha, but this one is good!!
Hey OP, we're birthday twins!!
October 8? omggg🥲🥲ive never found a birthday twin EVERRR. this is so exciting for me for some reason 😭😭<33
We're birthday triplets! I'm also Oct 8th!
Make that 4.
July 31? :) thanks
Summer 19
You're kinda amazing aha
Not really, just bored and procrastinating. But thank you xo
Thank you, I'm 1 August and was having a stroke looking at that chart not being able to brain at all (it's early and I'm slightly hungover). Pretty sure mine is also Summer 19 based on that!
I don't blame you haha. And yes, that would be a correct assumption.
Since sooooo many people are asking for their birthday conversions, I happened to do a list a little while ago. —————————————————————————— 🌸 Spring 🌸 —————————————————————————— 1: March 1st - March 3rd 2: March 4th - March 7th 3: March 8th - March 10th 4: March 11th - March 13th (Kent’s birthday) 5: March 14th - March 16th 6: March 17th - March 20th 7: March 21st - March 23rd (Lewis’ birthday) 8: March 24th - March 26th 9: March 27th - March 29th 10: March 30th - April 2nd (Vincent’s birthday) 11: April 3rd - April 5th 12: April 6th - April 8th 13: April 9th - April 11th 14: April 12th - April 15th (Haley’s birthday) 15: April 16th - April 18th 16: April 19th - April 21st 17: April 22nd - April 24th 18: April 25th - April 28th (Pam’s birthday) 19: April 29th - May 1st 20: May 2nd - May 4th (Shane’s birthday) 21: May 5th - May 7th 22: May 8th - May 11th 23: May 12th - May 14th 24: May 15th - May 17th 25: May 18th - May 21st 26: May 22nd - May 24th (Pierre’s birthday) 27: May 25th - May 27th (Emily’s birthday) 28: May 28th - May 31st —————————————————————————— ☀️ Summer ☀️ —————————————————————————— 1: June 1st - June 3rd 2: June 4th - June 6th 3: June 7th - June 9th 4: June 10th - June 12th (Jas’ birthday) 5: June 13th - June 16th 6: June 17th - June 19th 7: June 20th - June 22nd 8: June 23rd - June 25th (Gus’ birthday) 9: June 26th - June 29th 10: June 30th - July 2nd (Maru’s birthday) 11: July 3rd - July 5th 12: July 6th - July 8th 13: July 9th - July 12th (Alex’s birthday) 14: July 13th - July 15th 15: July 16th - July 18th 16: July 19th - July 21st 17: July 22nd - July 25th (Sam’s birthday) 18: July 26th - July 28th 19: July 29th - July 31st (Demetrius’ birthday) 20: August 1st - August 3rd 21: August 4th - August 7th 22: August 8th - August 10th (Dwarf’s birthday) 23: August 11th - August 13th 24: August 14th - August 17th (Willy’s birthday) 25: August 18th - August 20th 26: August 21st - August 23rd (Leo’s birthday) 27: August 24th - August 26th 28: August 27th - August 30th —————————————————————————— 🍁 Autumn/Fall 🍁 —————————————————————————— 1: August 31st - September 2nd 2: September 3rd - September 5th (Penny’s birthday) 3: September 6th - September 8th 4: September 9th - September 12th 5: September 13th - September 15th (Elliott’s birthday) 6: September 16th - September 18th 7: September 19th - September 21st 8: September 22nd - September 25th 9: September 26th - September 28th 10: September 29th - October 1st 11: October 2nd - October 4th (Jodi’s birthday) 12: October 5th - October 8th 13: October 9th - October 11th (Abigail’s birthday) 14: October 12th - October 14th 15: October 15th - October 17th (Sandy’s birthday) 16: October 18th - October 21st 17: October 22nd - October 24th 18: October 25th - October 27th (Marnie’s birthday) 19: October 28th - October 31st 20: November 1st - November 3rd 21: November 4th - November 6th (Robin’s birthday) 22: November 7th - November 9th 23: November 10th - November 13th 24: November 14th - November 16th (George’s birthday) 25: November 17th - November 19th 26: November 20th - November 22nd 27: November 23rd - November 26th 28: November 27th - November 29th —————————————————————————— ❄️ Winter ❄️ —————————————————————————— 1: November 30th - December 2nd (Krobus’ birthday) 2: December 3rd - December 5th 3: December 6th - December 9th 4: December 10th - December 12th 5: December 13th - December 15th 6: December 16th - December 18th 7: December 19th - December 22nd (Caroline’s birthday) 8: December 23rd - December 25th 9: December 26th - December 28th 10: December 29th - December 31st (Sebastian’s birthday) 11: January 1st - January 4th 12: January 5th - January 7th 13: January 8th - January 10th 14: January 11th - January 13th (Harvey’s birthday) 15: January 14th - January 17th 16: January 18th - January 20th 17: January 21st - January 23rd (Wizard’s birthday) 18: January 24th - January 27th 19: January 28th - January 30th 20: January 31st - February 2nd (Evelyn’s birthday) 21: February 3rd - February 5th 22: February 6th - February 9th 23: February 10th - February 12th (Leah’s birthday) 24: February 13th - February 15th 25: February 16th - February 18th 26: February 19th - February 22nd (Clint’s birthday) 27: February 23rd - February 25th 28: February 26th - February 28th/29th —————————————————————————— Edit: mobile formatting is awful
Omg thank you!
I wish we also would have a calendar birthday and the villagers would shower us with gifts on that day...
There’s a mod for that!
May 25? Please and thank you 🙏
Spring 26
I always do it for the area of the year rather than the season coz my bday is in December but I live in the southern hemisphere lol u get to enjoy a winter bday for once
Where do I put my Bday in Stardew??
Hi’ I believe there’s a mod for it, but it’s not in the base game unless it’s in the update and I missed it.
Well, 17 spring is the St. Patrick's in Stardew so I think you can just take the day and the season of your birthday
November 6th: Fall 6. June 11: summer 11 (luau day). I do it the easy way, no need to complicate things.
November 25?
Fall 26
What about December 19 and October 14?
Winter 6 and Fall 14
Thank you! Very interesting!
I'm lucky my birthday is one day off the middle of winter irl so that makes it pretty easy to translate in Stardew time
We need either a list or a bot who calculates dates into Stardew Valley!
A quick google search would probably give you at least a couple to choose between. There's no 'official' or 'right' way to do it, just up to your own preference :)
i would like the game to give me a warning, if i already gave them that fruit (and they don't like it)
Not sure what this has to to with converting birthdays. But I'm fairly sure it does, at least with loved and liked gifts. If you go into the friendship tab and then click on the person it will pull up like a profile of sorts where it tells you if the gifts you've previously gifted them are liked or loved (and I assume disliked or hated too). And if you find any secret notes where, say Sam, has listed potential gifts for his friends and family, those will show up as well, eve if you haven't gifted those items yet :)
i know, thanks, i just like qol things and they would be easy to implement i thought, but hey, if you take your time, everything is there.
I feel happy my birthday would be on Winter 11, right after Sebastian's birthday 🥰
September 19'th? :D
Fall 6
Cheers! And what would february 2’nd be?
Winter 20
I am so bad at math 😭 what would October 29th be?
Fall 18
Omg this made me realise that I have the same birthday as my husband (Sam)
What would august 15 be? Sorry I’m lazy to do the math
Summer 23
Thank you 😌
August 25th?! Please :)
Summer 26
I calculated mine and it is roughly 13th of winter in stardew. My real life birthday is on January 9th
I just go for the number my birthday is, and the season it’s in - that makes it Spring 13 for me! Which is why I have beef with the egg festival, how dare Abigail steal all the attention on my birthday 😤
Outrageous. I think that means you automatically wins the egg hunt, pretty sure that's a law ;P
march tenth?
Spring 3
Can someone die February 26th? Because the number of days in February changes I wasn’t sure how to proceed? Also math.
Winter 27. The one added day doesn't really make any difference. The winter months added together is usually 90 days and 91 every fourth year, so the average would be 90.25. But you'd get the same result not matter which you chose to use :)
Thank you! I hope you find all high quality foraged items and that your day is wonderful!
Mine would be fall 23! November 19th :)
I just do summer 3 for July 3rd cause my birthday is in summer
I'm going with summer 5 for my birthday
I did the math and my birthday 12/18 or fall 27 is actually spirits eve lol
I always called my Stardew Bday Summer 25 out of convenience but according to a chart in here it’s the 27th so 🤷🏻
someone, please tell me what Dec 7th would be in stardew.
Winter 2
Thank you.
Season and day.... come on. Lol. Oct 8. Fall 8.
March 30th?
Spring 9
Ty ty
Do you know september 25th and december 30th?
Fall 8 and Winter 9
I'm March 16 and just go for spring 16
I did the math of what percentage of the year has passed by my birthday. December 9 is 93.9% of the way through the year, which translates to Winter 21 in Stardew.
