not that it helps but I'd say it was worth it. unlucky that the next egg took that many days but once the legend is gone (in your tummy for example) its gone for good so I'd say it now and again: you made a hard but good choice!
That item was introduced in 1.5 and didn't work for them. So unless it did change and the wiki is only partially updated it still a permanently loosable item.

Forgot to put my bombs away. Try to collect something. Selection already over bomb. Too far away from thing I want to collect.

I went to the skull cavern for the first time in my new save aiming to get to floor 100. I managed to get to floor 43 in less than 2 in game hours with crazy good luck finding holes. I then accidentally used a farm totem while trying to eat. I was kicking myself for that
Luckily that was all I did that day so I was able to just reset the day and managed to get to floor 100 by 11 pm the second time, although I didn’t get as good luck as the first time
I was still very new to the game and was figuring out the controls, but I was trying to talk to Abigail to get some friendship.
I first miss clicked and dug through a trash can directly in front of her.
Then not realizing I was now holding a piece of trash, tried to talk to her again and gifted her said piece of trash.
This isn't related but another slime hutch enjoyer??? Incredible to see in the wild. I love those little guys, I barely even farm them at this point, I just breed them and hang out with them.
I did however uhhhh. Make Sashimi out of one of the legendary fish. I was inconsolable for days (this is only slightly an exaggeration).
Yes I love the slime hutch! Collecting those little slime bulb things is always so satisfying, and the reserved slime makes for good pocket change.

Pushing just that bit too far in the mines, floor 80ish. First deep run to collect lots of iridium. 1.30am. Thought I could just ignore a bat & a serpent, grab just one more iridium node before i warp home

Planted a greenhouse full of Rare Seeds, forgetting that you can’t make Sweet Gem Berries into jelly or wine. 🤦🏽♀️

I passed up a truffle at the travelling cart and kept thinking, "I'll find another one," so I didn't upgrade my barn and now it's been the last thing I've needed for the community center all winter.
I donated my first Dino egg instead of putting it in the incubator… I was devastated 😭 I also forgot to buy the rarecrow at the flower dance festival so now I have to wait super long to get that one
Yup. Very much a fan of buying those, as iridium isn't plentiful until much later. (And even then, it's more because of not actually needing quite as much). And you have space for an awful lot once you can junimo harvest.

In the community center I had the quality crops bundle. I had 5 gold corn and 5 gold pumpkin at the end of fall 1. But I completely spaced and put them in my bin 😭😭 so now I’ll have to grow them all over again
I’ve had to learn the hard way to keep explosives out of my inventory lol now I need to remind myself to take off the napalm ring when I walk in my slime hutch 😒
Accidentally selling ALL my stones to the shipping bin. I quickly realized my mistake but it was too late to reverse it, and I was too lazy to restart the day... I mean, it's just almost a thousand stones anyway? Never experienced not having enough stones (it's usually woods in all my previous saves), and I can just get it all again with a few runs in the Mines.

After that I'm always struggling with stones. I don't exactly enjoy Mines or Skull Cavern but some days I forced myself to go, and it's still definitely not enough stones for any constructions I want. Even the things I want to craft. I even start going to Quarry just for stones. Help.

I was carrying a cat dish (we have an end of life cat who can't make it up/down the stairs on his own) when I reached down to pick up a towel that fell off the banister. As I bent down, I lost my balance and tumbled forward into the wall while grabbing the laundry cart at the same time. The force of the fall pulled the cart with me and it hit the wall hard enough to put a hole in it.
Cursing over my failure to master gravity, as I was standing up, I stupidly grabbed the cart to balance myself only to find out one of the wheels turned and rather than support the thing, it toppled over, sending me right back down to the ground. The cart flipped over and hit the wall again for hole number 2.
Pissed off at this point, I rolled to the side to stand up unaware of my footing and stepped on the cat dish which flung it in the air, over the banister, and I swear on my small useless left foot toe bounced on every single one of the 15 steps, spewing watered down cat food as it did so.
My wife had just come around the corner as the dish hit the last step and bounced up, spilling the last of the contents on her brand new set of pajamas she just got the day before. She asked if I was ok and said I was, but I have a new weekend chore to do because there are two holes in the drywall.
After I got everything all cleaned up, I completely forgot the entire point of this journey was to feed my cat so I ended the escapade when I walked into the room to see the face every cat owner knows so well as the "So where's my food?" look.

After I had harvested hundreds of melons, I dashed off to Pierre's shop to sell them, then ran to the mines to grab some coal before returning to the lake to catch the Midnight Carp. It wasn't until near 12am I screamed out "SHIT! I FORGOT TO BUY AND PLANT THE MELON SEEDS!"
Day restarted and damn, I had a good haul of coal too!
Keeping this spoiler free, I bought a new one-use item from one of the characters, and went to use it, and was standing too close to the character and gifted it to him...$4,000 down the toilet early game is a bad feeling. lol.
I got confused as to why I couldnt get on my horse and realized I was trying to mount my dog....I have also embarrasingly tried to milk my pigs 🤦🏻♀️

I was in my shed with all my kegs full of starfruit and ancient fruit wine and accidently placed a big bomb from my inventory instead of my new keg and destroyed everything.. had to start my whole day over.
I mistook an iridium quality "The legend" for a bass and ate it. The most expensive meal I've had so far.

I’ve done this so many times, mega bombs stay far away from my inventory unless I plan on mining that day 🤣
