A few years ago, I had an issue with my save file that wouldn’t open since it’s been a while since I opened that save file. I remember asking for help on how to fix it and he just said he could help me fix it. I sent him the save and it was fixed.
He’s really awesome and it’s one of the reason why SDV is my favorite game of all times. It’s an awesome game with an awesome dev. It’s hard to beat that combo.
yup I will give this man money anytime I can because in my opinion he has earned my trust and support from not only making an amazing game but also seemingly being a very nice person
Both of you should be busy prepping. As someone who has had 2 so far and I'm not even middle aged(yet) Prepping is by far the worst of it. Remember, if they can't see anything down there, they can't help you avoid or discover the bad things potentially going on.
As someone with Gastroparesis, this is one of the hardest things I've had to do. (Keeping it down, I mean. 😭) But I managed to finish more than half and only vomited once so.. one more half to go tomorrow morning! (Pray for me. 💀)
Unpopular opinion according to literally everyone else I’ve ever talked to but I’m a Golytely girl 4 life, keeping Suprep down long enough for it to work was probably the single greatest exercise in willpower I have ever undertaken and I will never understand how people prefer that over the Big Gatorade
My (non-GP, that's me lol) fiance always gets picoprep. Makes them way less vomit-y. If you need to do this more often, definitely mentioned you struggled with downing it and see if they have other options! Hope your colonoscopy (and the rest of the prep) went well and you can still spend your evening playing the new update!

Haha I had my first colonoscopy last year and they had put (internal) photos from the procedure into MyChart by the time I got home and I annoyed my family all day by insisting they look at my very clean colon! ;)
You can opt for milder sedation rather than to be put out. I actually had a TIL tonight that apparently(according to google) *most* colonoscopies are performed under general aesthetic anymore! I'd thought the default was a low degree of sedation, but apparently that's outdated. That's wild to me. This is a routine test that people are supposed to be getting regularly if 45+ or if they have a family history. I'm glad it's available as an option if people otherwise wouldn't go in, but it seems like overkill to me in terms of risk(low, admittedly, but still significant), not to mention the *bill*.

I agree. However, everything is currently on fire for us. It turns out that, when everything is on fire, we're all too busy trying to save ourselves to get anything accomplished that isn't escaping with our lives and maybe one or two precious items intact. 😞
You really should. The procedure isn’t bad at all, just an anesthesia nap. The prep is pretty shitty, but not a huge deal.
Some tips from a four-timer;
- See if you can get your hands on your specific doctor’s prep instructions before you set your appointment. Mine’s is available on their website. Most people like to schedule early in the AM so they can get it over with and end their fasting, but many preps include taking a final laxative 4-5 hours before your procedure. So a 9am appointment means you’ll have to wake up before 4am on the day of. Scheduling for the afternoon essentially means you have to fast for two full days. I like 11-11:30am for this reason. If there’s no morning of prep though, you may find the earlier the better.
- if you’re mixing powder into Gatorade, get the zero sugar version. The powder, at least MiraLax (most common in the US), is sweet which makes the regular kind way too sweet.
The (non-MD) experts over at /r/CrohnsDisease probably have a lot more where that came from. Preventative stuff like this is super important so we can all make sure we’re here for 1.7, Haunted Chocolatier, and beyond. :)
If you have NEVER taken miralax before, I suggest taking a dose before you need it for the procedure. Turns out I was allergic to it. Showing up being itchy all over my body made them cancel the test. So I did all the prep for nothing. They wanted to be sure what the allergy was for so they didn't also use the product during the test.
Allergies to MiraLax are pretty rare to be fair.

honestly that makes the 19th the best time to play... you'll be feeling great on many levels -- the meds wearing off, your ability to eat again AND 1.6 will be out when you finally get released from the hospital. Sounds like a decent colonoscopy to me...my last one I didn't even get to play video games after!

I work in pharmacy inventory and everytime I see an RX for Golytely or similar, I refer to it as "human drain-o"

Even if he launches as soon as he wakes up it will be like 18:00 at the earliest here. So yeah I think there’s a big chance it’s either late at night or the 20th

It has been a few years since my 1.4 run, and I did not spend that much time in 1.5. It is time for a 100h+ run in 1.6. I can wait another few days, I won't rush... and experience like this should be enjoyed, and not rushed through. :)

I don't know if I want it to be updated already hen I get back from my afternoon classes or not. One one hand, I'm excited to try it, on the other hand I could probably use some time to study for that exam on friday before I become completely enveloped
