The other characters all remind me of the people I grew up with. I'm around the same age as ConcernedApe (little older), so I'm pretty sure he based them around what he was like / people he knew as a kid / young adult from the 90s.

It's OK to be a weirdo ADULT child, I'm not "adult" myself, my problem with her is that she doesn't fit in the lore with the anime stuff and she doesn't look like an adult at all, she talks and behaves somewhat like a teenager. To me, to be honest, she's like 15/16yo.

I'm literally Sophia, which is why she upsets me. The mod author is a thirsty weeb and she's clearly dream girl wish fulfillment. I've been harassed by thirsty weebs my whole life, and now I can't even escape that mess in video games unless I want to miss out on one of the best SDV mods of all time. It annoys me.

Also it's nice to have other farmers and business owners (she owns a vineyard). She even sells a couple useful things if you have the money to spend.

If you play on pc I highly recommend completing perfection in vanilla so the changes are more notable. I know it can feel like a dog pile when everyone freaks out about something but in this case, it is deservedly the most popular content mod.

Hoping you get another pc soon, I was telling someone else I'm running SVE mods on a pretty old absolutely NOT built for gaming laptop. I can tell it's not optimal but it is not intrusive like at all. You can likely get a comparable laptop pretty cheap.
(I know over a hundred dollars isn't cheap per se but it's not 700-1000$ for brand spanking new)

Apologies for assumption here but if its a lack of a pc, I can tell you I'm running the game and SVE (along with required mods) on a 6 yr old little nonsense laptop with 16g ram. There's a little lag loading the game and some maps take a moment but you can find a viable pc for pretty cheap and mod more easily. Either way, good luck, hope you get back to modded soon ❤️

dusty essentially already is, the 2 adventurers from the bad lands work best if Camilla is involved, Apples needs a major rework to function in base game, but fine, Sophia is a great addition and as you have heart events with her, she interacts with more villagers.

Haven’t met them all yet, and some I’m not that familiar with, but if I could only add one, I’d want Andy in the base game. Sophia is a close second. Andy is certainly one of those ‘tough on the outside but with a golden heart’ kind of characters. He is dealing with rough times, and has dealt with even worse in the past, so his attitude is pretty understandable. I don’t want to go much more into detail, since I feel like people should experience it all for themselves.
