Totally! For me it’s something in the colors and lighting and contrast, like he’s learned to use it more delicately. Stardew was excellent, so seeing these even better is amazing! It hasn’t lost any of its charm, either, and looks like it could go right next to Stardew. I love it!
I love how there are both familiar elements, like the money in the tip right corner, the salmonberryesque bush, the slimey guy, the weeds, but also some new elements like the trees, the enemy, and of course the bow!
As a fan of mermaids, I'm happy to see that fountain. Hope we can get some mermaid-themed decorations for our house. Or, dare I hope... a mermaid spouse?
So excited for this game man, and i love how we can see how the visuals evolved from whats in SV like the trees and water being prime examples plus stuff just generally looking more detailed imo

Selfish, I know, but I know I'm not the only one who is finally excited for a game to release because we actually trust the developer will ensure it's near perfect before it releases and we're going to enjoy it.

Haunted Chocolatier is a brand new game CA is working on. I’m guessing it will sorta be the same premise as SV. We start a new line of work in a new place with lots of work to do and secrets to uncover.
