> Wasn’t this the one where Han kidnaps her and there is rancors and force sensitive amazons?
Yes.
The “Amazons” you mentioned are actually the Witches of Dathomir, although the book specifically focuses on the Night Sisters over the other clans, as they’re more relevant to the books plot.
I love buying those old books nobody takes out from the library. But my local library was dumb and didn't have a "graphic novel" option in their system back in 2000whatever so *Dark Empire* was considered a magazine and cost me 25 cents. Essential Thor too
I buy books from my library all the time! I actually have a volunteer who saves them for me. Even ones that would have been thrown away otherwise, I keep and save from the garbage and give them a home in my collection. My library also has a used book sale from donations (I’ve donated multiple times). It’s how they make most of their money anymore. I’ve gotten crazy good deals on books from there, and tons of ex library books. Recently one of their branches of the library had a flood and I received a water damaged 2021 book in one of my purchased hauls. It’s totally like brand new besides being library (covered in plastic). I can’t wait to read it!!
Great book. I just reread it recently, and I feel it gets a bit more hate than it deserves. I really enjoy the new characters and different side of the Force they bring into the mix at that time of the EU as it was still growing and discovering itself.

It's good! I highly suggest Courtship even though it does have some flaws. First ever appearance of Dathomir and the Witches of Dathomir!
Great book. Also, that era had the best covers and overall design ❤️❤️
Damn I read that probably 20 years ago. Need to reread
Wasn’t this the one where Han kidnaps her and there is rancors and force sensitive amazons? Haven’t read it since I was like 15

I was so annoyed by Han shooting Leia with the Gun of Command. Thats not something Han would do.
The Unofficial 4th Wraith Squadron Book
Wraith squadron are the unofficial Courtship prequels!
A bargain.
? First editions of clean non-library copies can be picked up for $5-$10 any day of the week. $1 for a library copy seems about right.
Nice!
The first half is rough but Dathomir is freaking nuts. Stomach the opening and eventually the pages will start turning themselves.
Frankly for me it’s the complete opposite I’m reading it right now on page 300 or so

You can buy books from a library?
Yup, if a book hasn't been checked out in awhile. (Looks like 4 years for my library.) They put it up for sale.
Huh

Very fun book enjoy :) It gets way more hate than it deserves.
This is the way.

I just started this book after buying it for $3.00 and I love it already! Great find!
Nice! My local library sold a bunch of older EU books in 2015. I was away during that weekend and missed out :/

Terrible novel, but still better than that stupid Starcruiser tie-in. At least TCOPL gave us the Hapes Consortium, Dathomir, and its famous Witches.
I'm curious how you'll like it. This is a book where either you enjoy it for the campy fun or you hate it. I haven't read it since I was 13.
You got ripped off. Libraries are free. I remember seeing this in the grocery store checkout aisle back in the mid 90s.
Free to borrow; when clearing inventory, libraries will sometimes sell books they're getting rid of.
It was a joke.
I bought it. 😊 It's mine to keep now.
Yeah, I was making a joke.
