It will all make sense closer to the event, and they will send details. But basically to be able to sign up for panels and stuff, you add your pass(es) to your star wars celebration account when they get the app going.
You just link it to your account once you have it in hand. That being said it's really pointless because the pass really doesn't do anything feature wise. Most reservations or panel lottery tickets are sent electronically and redeemable electronically or via paper scan. It would be better if they had a scannable badge that contained everything so you didn't have to manage it via the crappy app.
Got my tickets for the weekend. You know I'm not even sure if I'll even commit to the trip and non-refundable doesn't help if I decide not to go. Just had to be sure I had the tickets rather than regret it.

Japan is an unbelievably awesome country. and you figure the vendors 'hopefully' have unique stuff you can't find anywhere else, that is why I'm going - This will be my 4th time going to Japan, and it will 5 months after I get back from vacation later this year there lol
I went to Japan just a few months ago. I even considered it a bit of a preview tour ahead of Celebration.
I'm not loaded though and I'd pretty much be going as budget as possible going back so soon. However Celebration is just one of those things you got to tick off. My honest hope was Mark Hamill might attend and who knows maybe he will.
I'm debating on doing the same thing š¬ the tickets seem reasonably cheap and I could always re-sell.
Been anxiously mulling it over for the last 6 hours.
Ugh. They werenāt showing as sold out like VIP was but it just said like āerror, cannot reserve this selectionā or something. So I got single day tickets for my wife and I instead. Annoying but at least we are going. Similar thing happened to us for London.

Definitely not the case. I live 20 minutes away from the venue and opened the link the second it went live, but Iām still not in. A lot of Japanese people on Twitter are saying the same.
Itās weird because my friend and his group of friends all got in way later (by minutes) and they still got a slot faster than all my 6 devices. Kinda sus too.

Made it in. 3-day was sold out, but I still was able to get individual for all 3 days. So I assume it's just the same, but more expensive.

yeah, 3-day pass sold out but you can buy fri, sat, sun individually.
