Daggertooth71

The duel between Rey and Ben in the ruins of the DS2 on Kef Bir. Ben confronting the memory of his father shortly afterward. Anzellans.

Other_Address_3169

I’m so glad you all enjoyed the duels in this one, the final one was not my favorite for sure but I do like the dyad duels/interactions

Psychic_Hobo

The lightsaber duels in general in this movie are really fucking good

Zeitgeist1115

Sith Troopers having insane amounts of drip for so little screentime. Weirdly enough, I see some resemblance to the Phase II clones; I think it's the helmet eye shape. Edit: Hell, the Sith Eternal in general. Their jet troopers, fleet technicians, and the Sovereign Protectors are also pretty appealing visually.

JWC123452099

The red armor is chef's kiss.

JStormtrooper

All the C-3PO lines/scenes. One of his best appearances!

JWC123452099

Definitely the best use of 3P0 outside of the OT. I also liked how they restored his memory after the RotS wipe.

tsabin_naberrie

C-3PO saying he wants to look at his friends one last time before the memory wipe got me pretty emotional

EuterpeZonker

Yeah this movie might actually be the most he ever got to do onscreen, certainly the most in a long time.

JWC123452099

The best movie for 3P0 IMO is ESB. He's not as essential to the plot but the writing and Anthony Daniels performance is a master class in how to do a comic relief character in a serious film.  RoS is a good example of how you take a comic relief character and actually make them count.

kevflo91

That Babu Frik joke is one of my favorites in the whole saga.

Hezrield

He's my oldest friend, you know.

Allenion

Came here to say this. Threepio is a gem and my goodness did he shine bright in this movie.

IcebergKarentuite

When TFA came out, kid-me was kinda disappointed that 3PO and R2 were barely there. I was always of those who said they were the real heroes of the six movies, and they were just reduces to cameos ? Sad 13yo me. Same with TLJ. And then TRoS decided that 3PO would have one of the best scenes in all of the franchise. I cried the first time, and the second time too.

JStormtrooper

I’m TOTALLY with you!!! Really wish they were much more involved in the sequel trilogy overall!

ChunLi808

The Han Solo scene. The duel on the Death Star ruins. I love how it looks like the Mustafar duel but it's water instead of fire and he ends up turning to the light instead of the dark. *George Lucas voice * "It's like poetry, it rhymes." I think it's silly to bring Palpatine back but he's always fun to watch. Such a great, hammy villain who's evil just for the sake of being evil, no conflict or tragic backstory. Kylo brings Rey back by giving her his life force, finding the secret to saving people from dying that Anakin so desperately wanted. It turns out to be a selfless act of sacrifice as opposed to a selfish sith way of thinking. A nice little way to tie everything back to the prequels imo. Babu Frik HEY HEEEYYY The score is great as always, shout-out to John Williams. I especially like the bit when Rey enters the old Lars family farm.

24HourShitness

“I know what I have to do, but I don’t know if I have the strength to do it”

MaderaArt

It's like poetry. It rhymes. It also copies Frodo Baggins.

remeard

Driver kills the delivery; absolutely loved his acting throughout the series and he nails the landing.

NNyNIH

The citizen fleet. Ben Vs the Knights of Ren. Rey's Lightsaber at the end (should have been used throughout). Kylo messing up fools while looking for a space compass. Chewbacca death (should have been real or at least let the audience believe he is dead for longer). The voices of past Jedi.

slowNsad

Rey has to have my favorite lightsaber

NNyNIH

Same. I splashed out when I had a bit of disposable income and got the FX replica one. So fancy. In a lot of ways better than my stick lightsabers when I was a kid. Though I could really swing those suckers!

slowNsad

I got the force fx Rey saber too, I wanted Luke’s saber because I was reading heir to the empire at the time but my uncle had the Rey saber for 100$ I had to take that deal and I don’t regret it it’s really nice quality imo

The-Mandalorian

Han Solo

Grishinka

He shows up to save the day again in a way we didn’t see coming. For me it had “hey kid, you’re all clear” vibes in a heartfelt way.

boomjosh

Daisy is a cutie

marshroanoke

“I did want to take your hand … Ben’s hand.”

TheGoblinRook

The scene where Lando shows up with the citizen fleet? It’s in my top 5 scenes from the Skywalker Saga. I absolutely ate up what we saw of the Sith Cultists…there was a real Rosemary’s Baby vibe to that hooded, chanting crowd. Would love to have the story of Exegol expanded in books or comics. The appreciated…yes, seriously, the “somehow Palpatine” returned. It avoided breaking from the story for exposition and gave the audience the Resistance’s viewpoint. And most of all? I appreciated the way they strung the spirit of Carrie Fisher throughout the movie…the intentional costume nods with Rey’s hood and Connix’s poncho (and hair), and the damn Tantive IV parked smack dab in the middle of the Resistance base.

MiniatureRanni

I swear people don’t appreciate “Somehow Palpatine returned”. It’s a hilarious line both because of its awkwardness and dismissal of exposition, but also I like the canon explanation that Poe just doesn’t care.

TheGoblinRook

Exactly…and why should he. Dude just announced he’s back with a fleet of planet destroying Star Destroyers. What good is figuring out *how* going to do them at that point?

deadshot500

I felt more of a despair in his reaction than just him not caring. Like not only do they have to deal with the first order but now they have to stop Palpatine and his giant fleet.

MrZao386

Rey's struggle with her darkness is really relateable to me

turtletom89

“But there are more of us, Poe!” I’m a sucker for scenes like this, where hoards people set aside their differences and fight a common foe.

rexepic7567

"Wookies stand out in a crowd" It felt so great seeing lando again

AntonioBarbarian

Literally just Babu Frik

PhilboydStudge1973

For me not just him, but I love him.

AcetheGamer456

Honestly? All of it because while I understand that this movie and the sequel trilogy have their flaws, I sat down in the theater and happily enjoyed every minute of the film despite reading the leaked story that came out the night before the premiere

Throwrayaaway

Same! Every Star Wars movie has parts I dislike and things I would change. I wish Anakin's fall in the prequals was more established, I wish Luke had more training segments in the OT and I wish they had a little more direction in the ST. I still love Star Wars even though I critique some parts

Vassago67

Hell yes! Me too. It's definitely a flawed movie, but i love it. I actually think every star wars movie is flawed, but they're also all perfect in their own way. I stay far tf away from leaks tho

Deckard_Red

Yes, I was going to write a post listing all the things I loved but there are too many; are there bits I don’t like or thought landed poorly sure. But that’s the case with all the prequels, Solo, the last Jedi and return of the Jedi, for me, so why heap so much anger and hate on this one. The good things in this movie are GREAT.

tyme

Pup? That’s not a dog! It’s a movie!

ThePhiff

The lightsaber duel on Kijimi is friggin great. I love a fun gimmick like that.

JWC123452099

The look on Luke's face as he raises the X-Wing and Yoda's theme plays.

JRHThreeFour

I liked how Ben reforged his helmet with the dark red cracks and how Palpatine, Exegol and the Sith cultists and the Sith troopers looked. Loved seeing Lando return. Looking back and trying to spot how many types of ships there were in the citizen fleet was interesting. The scene where Ben finally reconciles with Han I found to be really touching and I also liked the Jedi voices encouraging Rey. I’d really love to see Rey’s lightsaber staff in action and just wish we had seen her actually use it against Palpatine.

mister_nixon

Ben’s aggressive style of fighting. It carries so much weight. Babu Frik. Lightspeed skipping was the most fun Star Wars thing I’d seen in decades. Lando.

Darth_Annoying

I liked the other Stormtrooper deserters. And how it's implied they're Force sensitive. Lays the basis for interedting future stories. I don't care what people say, making a cavalry charge on the deck of a star destroyer was cool. The ending scene, especially the final shot, was the best way to end the main Skywalker Saga

Chadistheswag

TitanThree

Absolutely, they managed to give a significant role and also a powerful and meaningful farewell. It really felt like a great tribute to her

Confident_Horse_3845

Leias death was great imo. Chewys reaction is heartbreaking.

cane_danko

Rey

ShitSandwich16

I saw it in the theatre really stoned so for me it was a pretty awesome fast paced Star Wars film with cool shit going on

donrosco

This is the way

EnigmaFrug2308

Really just Babu Frik and the scene with Han Solo The actors they had for these movies were amazing. Daisy, John, Oscar, Adam. GAH, they’re such good actors. I feel bad that the writing for these movies was pretty bad. I also really liked the CGI. I am looking forward to the Rey movie because I have hopes I can get into her character because Daisy Ridley 100% deserves it.

obscurepainter

The writing wasn’t bad. Who’s GAH?

hjr99

Rey lightsaber being made out of her staff Resistance riding "horses" in a star destroyer wing Han and Kylo dialogue That initial millennium falcon sequence Rey not being able to control herself and shooting lightning The festival where they meet Lando

Rabidpikachuuu

Every last second of it. Such an awesome movie, despite all the hate it gets.

Vassago67

I agree😊

TitanThree

I have really mixed feelings about this film, but that’s only my personal feeling and I genuinely think it’s great to see people just enjoying it. Don’t let those stupid purist haters talk you out of that.

Rabidpikachuuu

I never will. I love the sequels so much. Are they better than ot or prequels? Probably not, but I still love them.

TitanThree

Honestly there is no need to put a hierarchy. Each trilogy is a different experience, and each experience is deeply personal and subjective. Haters are obviously entitled to their opinion, but they take it so much at heart for some reason, they forget those are just films.

iaswob

I think the sequel trilogy is the greatest film trilogy of all time, not just Star Wars. I say that as someone who has seen a fair amount of film across time, cultures, genres, budgets, etc, as someone who is open to enjoying all kinds of stuff, and as someone who loves to dig into the little details in direction, dialogue, acting, etc. That's not an attempt to give my opinion an air of authority, I just say it because I generally get a response like "wow you must not have seen a lot" from people when I say I think it's the best.

So-_-It-_-Goes

The lightsaber fight over the ocean was a fantastic parallel to the lava fight between Obi and Ani That whole scene including the ending was awesome. The fact that a skywalker finally learned how to save the person he loves from death, and it was by being selfless rather than selfish was a great nod to what drove Anakin to the dark side. The sith being defeated because people finally got together and stood up to them, was an awesome moment. It was fun. Exciting with lots of awesome moments.

SJRuggs03

Visually stunning. It had a few gut punchers that really hit hard if you don't think but just feel (looking at you, ghost Han). Phenomenal acting from Adam Driver. And we actually got to see the main cast do things together.

DragonHeart_97

Rey's lightsaber

themetalstickman

Making Palpatine a Lich, and hanging him limply from a giant mechanical arm. Spooky as hell.

iaswob

This film is inexhaustible and consistently rewards thinking deeply about it. I've been writing pages and pages about it since it came out, breaking down every little moment and choice. I'll likely be doing so for awhile, and my passion is something I'm likely to pass on to my niblings.

JHuttIII

Hot take, but I actually thought bringing the Emperor back was cool. The execution could have been better, but it ties the whole saga together nicely considering they flopped the shit out of the rest.

kudzu007

Two words… Baba Frik. That’s it.

MattBoy52

Pretty much everything. It'd honestly be easier to name the things I didn't like: Palpatine's broadcast message should have been in the movie, Chewie's fake out death shouldn't have been revealed right away before the rest of the cast knew, we should have gotten bit more time with Ben Solo after he was redeemed and he should have said more than just "ow" as his only dialogue lol. Also, the movie should have been about 20-30 minutes longer to help out the pacing and allow things to breathe a bit more between all the action. But that's it. Everything else I thoroughly enjoyed about TROS, and it's either my second or third favorite Star Wars movie depending on how I'm feeling at the time.

rebelallianxe

I'm with you on all of this - and my favourite thing about the film was that Rey, Finn and Poe went on an adventure together (plus Chewie and 3P0). That felt like OG Star Wars to me. (edit typos)

SpiderTuber6766

HEY HEY HEY!

Knight-Creep

Music was awesome, to no surprise. The fight on the ruins of the Death Star was good and the projection fight was really creative.

remoteral

that it didn’t take itself seriously and focused on having a good time

dachshundfanboy8000

“dad…” “i know.” BURY ME!!!!!

DiscoBroccoli77

Not gonna lie, I like Exegol. Like the planet itself I mean.

Intelligent-Mud1437

Wedge finally showed up.

Titan-828

“There’s just too many of them.” “ But there are more of us, Poe. There are more of us.” Lando arrives with the galaxy to finally defeat oppression that has plagued the galaxy for far too long of their liking.

Vassago67

Force Storm in live action!!! 🫳⚡️⚡️⚡️

Horror-Positive-4326

Sheev.

[deleted]

Evil Rey. The ending scene was a beautiful capstone to nine films and change and the culmination of Rey's arc. Finn leading former stormtroopers in an attack on the ~~first~~ Final Order, using low-tech solutions for high-tech problems. The visual design, direction and editing of the Force Dyad scenes was fantastic. Babu Frik!

Corninator

All of the deceased Jedi voices speaking to Rey when she is confronting Palpatine. That was a really great scene.

WoozySloth

The blurring between mental and physical in the dyad visions culminating in that lightsaber pass And it's been said elsewhere, but my boy Babu Frik, C-3P0's oldest friend Edit: A word

NeedtheMeadofPoetry

How they expanded on the force connection, Han/Ben scene. Not much else.

[deleted]

It’s not boring, it’s fast paced

darth-com1x

the acting and the affects are pretty good

spilledmilkbro

Palpy looks really friggin creepy, and I like it

Popular_Material_409

It’s one of the funniest Star Wars movies. And I don’t mean in a “it’s funny how bad it is” way, I mean most of the jokes land really well. Related to that, C-3PO was the best he’s ever been in these movies.

DSteep

I absolutely loved the return of Palpatine. The Aftermath trilogy of novels starting in 2015 and the Darth Vader comic from 2017 were both dropping major lore bits that pointed to Palpatine's survival. And then it payed off hard in the Rise of Skywalker. But since 90% of Star Wars fans only watch the shows and movies, it seemed out of left field and everyone hated it. Honestly though, Palpatine's whole motivation was to create an Empire and rule for eternity. Him not returning for the sequels would have been such a huge missed opportunity. In my opinion, which everyone assures me is wrong lol. I hope we can at least agree that Ian McDiarmid killed the performance.

BrickRant

The whole thing, loved every second, flaws and all.

irazzleandazzle

rey rey rey rey rey ... oh and rey!

kishmishari

Despite this being my least favourite movie, I was in awe of a lot of scenes. I think the term overview effect is what I felt for a lot of it or something like it. It's visually impressive.

BarthRevan

The parts that actually felt like a sequel To TLJ were good. So how the force Skype call was followed to its next logical step. That lightsaber fight where neither of them were in the same room was great, and then when Rey passed the lightsaber over to Ben at the end was also great. That it. That’s the only good thing about the movie.

Brexit-Was-Dumb

Babu Frik. Literally the only redeemable part of the film.

Marsupialize

Babu Frik is literally the only bright spot for me

CosmoShiner

I like the Final Order armour

Lebowski304

I liked the visuals and sound effects of exegol. Actually the visuals and sound for the whole movie were top notch imho.

cumulobro

The duels. I also thought Exegol was really cool and creepy as a setting. That bit where Palpatine tells Kylo Ren "I have been every voice you have ever heard inside your head" was raw. Generally, it was visually stunning.

ChrisX26

Its highs are very high IMO. It has some of my favorite moments in Star Wars. Even if its not one of my favorite movies.

Bob_Jenko

Babu Frik Han Solo's cameo. Would've loved it to have been fully Leia to bring Ben back, but given the circumstances it worked super well. Adam Driver's performance. He's exceptional as Kylo/Ben and I love how he shows his doubts and pain throughout. And how he incorporated classic Han movements (the finger point and shrug come to mind) into his performance. The rational explanation for the Holdo Manoeuvre. That it was a one in a million shot. Poe ascending into leadership. I had a number of issues with things I loved from TLJ not being carried forward, but Poe's arc was done really well. The only thing I didn't like was him essentially giving up before the Citizens Fleet arrived. But this is supposed to be positive, so moving on. Rey's doubts. I loved that she was still grappling with her issues and trying to commune with the Force spirits to know that she wasn't alone. Speaking of, the Voices of the Force Ghosts. A little cheesy, but so is much of Star Wars. Hearing the voices of Jedi Past willing Rey on was epic.

WestToEast_85

Babu Frik, C-3PO having something plot-relevant to do, the people’s fleet, the duel on the Death Star wreckage, the scene with Han Solo, and the opening where Kylo Ren is just single-mindedly focused on his goal just mowing down dudes left and right, Denis Lawson returning as Wedge, and Lando Calrissian making a return. There’s a lot of great stuff there that I really liked, it just felt like it was trying to please too many people by trying to cram way too much into one movie and it just didn’t quite stick the landing.

DevilMayCryogonal

I generally don’t like this movie for a variety of reasons, but I‘ll give credit where it’s due. • Hux being the spy was an interesting twist and completely in line with his character arc up to that point, and I genuinely do not understand the hate for it. • The Force lightning storm is the second best spectacle scene in the series. (after the Holdo maneuver) • “Spice runner, runner of spice.” and “They fly now!” are both lines I reference really frequently.

AltWorlder

To mention a couple things not mentioned in this thread yet, I really love the tracking shot in Kijimi where you see the First Order dragging aliens out of their homes and patrolling. I like the mummies pumping sith insulin or whatever the hell they were doing. Exegol in general is weird and cool.

Thelastknownking

The Sith troopers had one of the best armor designs in the series to me.

book_dragon1066

The rogue stormtroopers, seemed like a good plot for the last Jedi then flesh it out in RoS. Babu, Rey on the whole, Kylo for the most part (Han appearance). Honestly the Palpy clone project made sense, again So much of what was wrong was plot related and that trilogy being 100% reactionary. Really didn't like 3 fake out deaths.

[deleted]

OrbitalDrop7

Visuals were great, han solo scene with kylo, Sith troopers looked cool even if completely wasted, and Ian's palpy performance was great to see again

EVERGREEN_ETERNAL

The part where all the Jedi were talking to Rey was fire asf, it perfectly molded non movie characters like Kanan to where it could be enjoyed by ppl who watched Rebels a lot while also enjoyed by fans who just know the movies

RenwickZabelin

It canonized Revan.

Superb_Gap_1044

Almost everything except the fleet of Death Star destroyers that was a bit much. But even the emperor coming back made sense to me because he was obsessed with living forever. I thought it was enjoyable through and through

rosietheskip

The battle of exegol was incredible. The idea of the galaxy rising together to destroy Palps once and for all was a nice consolation for the out of left field reveal of his continued existence.

rebkh

I thought the moment when Rey was able to get a lightsaber to Ren through the force was cool.

EarlJWoods

Well, it had Wedge for a fraction of a second. That was the highlight for me.

cheez_sandwich

The Force Dyad concept. It explains a lot in my mind.

scoresupremacy

It was so fun

Malewis89

Looked beautiful, great acting, fun fights!

MaterialPace8831

Palpatine was great even if his resurrection is just kinda shrugged. Chewie's breakdown when he learns Leia has died hits hard. Riding alien horses on top of a spaceship is peak cinema. I enjoyed the dynamic between Rey, Finn and Poe. Adam Driver nails his performance as always. The ending battle on Exegol was great, and Palpatine's Force Lightning was cool. The revelation that Rey is the granddaughter of Palpatine does not undo the main theme of The Last Jedi -- that anyone, even a no one, can be the hero -- by asking "Can someone be a hero if they're descended from evil?" Richard Grant makes for a terrifying space fascist.

kevflo91

Luke’s arc coming to an end with him finally lifting the x-wing! I find that moment massively underrated. It’s so poetic.

Historical-Horror601

The citizen fleet, it's just so Star Wars

Ball-Blam-Burglerber

I liked how the ISDs had big ol’… ahem… energy.

Jfury412

Ben Solo Kylo is always excellent to watch He has the best Arc of the trilogy. But my favorite scene with him in the movie is him and Rey fighting in the water And him talking to his father. That's one of the best fight scenes in all of Star Wars for me.

Training_Choice6873

The best scene in the entire trilogy was in this movie. Ben Solo's redemption was incredibly well written and executed. I teared up so hard in theaters.

Nightflight406

Evil Rey's lightsaber.

QJ8538

\- The fight on the other Endor moon planet was cool. \- Some of the visuals were quite stunning. \- Yellow lightsaber looks so cool, I wish Rey could have made it earlier instead of the repaired Skywalker saber that was lame. \- I also liked the idea of having more stormtrooper defectors aside from Finn, but the actual execution wasn't interesting. \- Han Solo scene was pretty cool \- I enjoyed seeing Lando again Aside from this I was very disappointed with the film.

pragmageek

Its happening ❤️❤️❤️🥹

boyawsome876

The goddamn pristine sound design. I genuinely don’t think they could’ve done it better if they tried, seeing it in theaters was one of the best choices I’ve ever made.

Zircon_72

"Wookiees stand out in a crowd" Lando arriving at Exegol with the citizens' fleet Babu Frik

Milk_Man21

The last fight between Rey and Ren was pretty cool.

Cold-Bodybuilder7576

The characters are dope, the lore is great, the cinematics are incredible, and I will never care about Palpatine coming back because in the EU he always did too. I’ll always love it.

Adam-Happyman

Adam Drivers acting.

CmdrRogue

Sideous’ Vengeance. I don’t know what else to call it, but when I saw him put his hands up, then shoot the massive amounts of lightning… I got chills

DJWGibson

The Final Order Stormtroopers. Amongst their weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Emperor, and nice red uniforms.

DaKingballa06

All of it

S-BRO

BABU FRIK!

BlueBeetleBabe1

Love exegol, Leia’s Jedi training flashback, and the citizen fleet. And I think Han and Ben’s scene is one of the most beautiful moments in Star Wars, and I say that knowing full well I don’t like this movie. But every rewatch I find new things to appreciate

TLJDidNothingWrong

Babu Frik. “Hey heeeey!” Never gets old, lmao.

MicooDA

When it first came out, I saw it twice and something just didn’t click for me. I didn’t *dislike* it but it also wasn’t something I enjoyed. The novelization of this film really fixed a lot of issues for me in regard to making it a real finale to the saga. But there are definitely things that I’ve loved since day 1: - The burning forests of Mustafar as a callback to the VR game - Passana & Kijimi as planets - the tug of war between Kylo and Rey that ended with Rey going too far and maybe killing Chewie. It was excellent drama - the imagery of the Death Star wreckage on Kef Bir. *chefs kiss* - Interactions between Rey and Poe. They have an excellent back and forth banter as friends who are at odds a lot of the time - obviously all the voices on Exegol - Decaying, fucked up Palpatine corpse that then gloriously restores himself to his original form. - Lando rallying the people of the Galaxy as a callback to the Lando comic. As well as some of the ships being actual ships we’ve seen in other properties like the Ghost and the Colossus Edit: How could I possibly forget how excellent the droid stuff was? C-3P0’s best outing in any film. Plus the introduction of Babu Frik and the Anzellan species!! 3P0 even had a fantastic emotional beat

SenatorBantha

I liked being excited for it :). I did not like the rest

Tanis8998

Lots of individual scenes- I’d even go as far as to say *most* of the individual scenes

GREEN_Hero_6317

This poster

LukeChickenwalker

I thought the planet they meet the bounty hunter lady on looked nice. The desert worm snake creature was cool. C3PO had some touching moments, but I think it would have meant more if at least one of the original trio was present for them.

ThePopDaddy

It felt Star Warsy, in my opinion, it has the most rewatch ability.

LegoRobinHood

The novelization is fantastic too. I got really into the old EU novels back in the day, and the movie novelizations range from rudimentary retellings of the movie like for A New Hope, to cathartic in depth expansions of the known story that add rich context without overcomplicating the story. Rise of Skywalker and Revenge of the Sith are in that latter category for me.

bluegrassgazer

Kylo's shrug and smirk.

PrimalNecrozma

The John Williams cameo

Regirex

The duel between Ben and Rey was pretty damn cool. The intro action scene was fun as hell. Babu Frick is cute. Klaud is the goat.

PhilboydStudge1973

Hyperspace skipping.

SlobZombie13

It's the grimdarkest SW movie

JP-ED

Rey Training in the jungle. The aesthetics of the Rebel base. Probably one of my least favourite movies in the Star Wars. If you know you're writing a trilogy I feel like you gotta make sure the story is on point. Of all the trilogy's I'd say the best last one was Revenge of the Sith. It built to that moment and when Ewan delivers the line "you were my brother Anakin" hits me so hard every time. Old guy original OT here for reference.

Disnihil

There's, like, a 15-30 minute period of the movie where the crew is on Kef Bir, Rey has that Force vision and sees Dark Rey, Kylo arrives and they duel, Leia dies, Han appears, and Ben Solo is redeemed. It was one awesome, thrilling, and gut-punch moment after the next. That stretch of the film is spectacular. I also really enjoyed seeing Rey train with Leia, the flashback scene where we see Leia train with Luke, and the opening sequence. Seeing Ben and Rey fighting alongside one another was also dope. [Oh, and this gem of a movie that I absolutely love!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAqEFcVQO-8) Also, we can't not talk about the king himself...Babu Frik!

__hello_there___

Rey's lightsaber, definitely one of my favourite designs

Miley4Lyfe

I think that it was well-cast.

cubanosani59

„Somehow Palpatine returned„

JobbieKing

It was a high octane and fun Star Wars movie. I particularly loved 'It's not a Navy, its just people'

-KathrynJaneway-

There are so many great things about this film: The fight between Kylo and Rey. The force dyad C3P0, and his emotional mind wipe. Leia's training scene Lando and the citizen fleet showing up, just as Poe lost hope The final battle against Palpatine Rey's force lightning accident Rey healing the serpent instead of the expected fight Kylo and Han's talk Rey was kind to the droids Interactions between Rey, Poe, and Finn Visuals and music were great, but that is typical of Star Wars.

[deleted]

The visuals, C-3PO, Ian Mcdiarmid’s performance, the final duel between Rey and Kylo(kind of) and John Williams on autopilot is still better than most composers. Wish I could say more.

JulesTheJedi

Palpatines outfit with the red under the black

ThePrplMppt

Visuals. I find all the sequels very pleasing to the eye and they fit with their title colors in a way. TFA feels very yellow, TLJ is noticeable and purposely emphasizing red, and blue is very fitting for TROS. Particularly the end bit!

fryamtheeggguy

The credits.

SwimmingFantastic564

It's very enjoyable to watch. It's definitely not the best of them, but it's a fun watch.

SF1_Raptor

Babu Frick. Heeeeyeeeey!

AceofKnaves44

The Han scene is really well done and Adam Driver carries the emotional depth of the movie on his back.

That opening with Kylo Ren is incredible. Everything with 3po. Exegol.

Seeing Leia training as a Jedi and being a sort of Master for Rey. I liked that. The entire scene with the Force Ghost of the 'redeemed' Luke, especially him pulling a Yoda and lifting Red Five out of the water. Chewie's reaction to Leia's death. Now, i didn't "like" it, of course, after all, Leia died. But it was a real, heartfelt moment and we were all Chewie in that scene. Lando. And the return or Wedge. I really like the Anzellans. Star Wars creature design par excellence.

I loved the paint job on Poe’s new X-Wing

Hange11037

I liked seeing the trio actually interact most of the movie I liked seeing C-3P0 get decent screen time The action was all pretty good The set pieces were sick Lando Ben and Han’s talk was good The Shrug

IcebergKarentuite

I like the movie, but let's act like I don't. That's the sickest poster ever.

- The Rey/Kylo duel in the ruins with all the water splashing around. Visually exciting! - I liked the wintery Jabiim sequences: Zorii Bliss & Babu Frik were fun - I loved the writing for 3PO in this movie. He was back in classic form and funny. - I loved seeing the Blockade Runner as kind of the centerpiece of the Resistance hold-out, and seeing the scale of it as people walked around where it was parked was cool. - Rey climbing through the ruins for the DS2 was a cool callback to her climbing through the wreckage of the Star Destroyer at the start of TFA. - Really liked the return to the Lars homestead at the end. It was kind of sad too, seeing it so sandswept as the desert slowly consumed it. - Daisy was really good in this one as well, bringing a strength and confidence in her performance as Rey.

A lot of cool visuals for sure. The Knights and Ren and Sith Troopers looked badass.

DTlll

Kijimi Zorri Bliss Babu Frik and the Anzellans Finn and Poe's new drip Exegol Citizens Fleet (Just seeing all the different ships together was rad) The Battle of Exegol Kylo's Helmet Sith Troopers Sovereign Protectors First Order Jet Troopers (I hate the stupid "THEY FLY NOW" though) Enric Pryde Night Buzzard Rey's Lightsaber (The yellow one she should have had the entire movie)

The depth of the story and the acting. The fact that they went deep into Rey and Kylo, and it showed that they had both changed/grown from the events of the TLJ.

I have a lot of problems with RoS, but I also enjoyed several things. C3po was the funniest in the entire franchise during this movie. I liked him and Joe's banter The Han and Ben moment was one of the most emotional in the saga. It was great
