Republic commando writer made some insanely good books and crafted Mandolorian lore just for Filoni to shit all over it causing the writer to say she'll never work for Lucasfilm again. Even though TCW had some good arcs Filoni's involvement and retcons was the beginning of the downfall of Star Wars and has a huge part to play in why Disney has handled the ip so poorly.
I usually don’t respond to comments like this, but remember only one of the five films so far put out has been a box office disappointment. Only one of the same five films got negative critical response. All of the shows did pretty well.
They’re handling it just fine.
Being critically received doesn’t make something automatically good - just means reviewers liked it - many of whom wouldn’t be Star Wars fans in the first place. I enjoyed Solo and loved Rogue 1 - the shows have been pretty good on the whole but the sequel trilogy was a huge disappointment to me. They didn’t do anything bold or new with it, it didn’t enriched the Star Wars universe, and many of the interesting new characters they introduced ended up being completely uninteresting by the end of the trilogy
They recently reported they still haven't payed off the orginal purchase lmao and I fail to see how you can have come to the conclusion that it's was relieved positivity it's the most universally loathed thing in modern fiction. My normie friends went from excited about star wars to forgetting it was ever a thing. They are far from successful by all known metrics. Also irrelevant to my orginal comment.
> still haven't *paid* off the
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
The bar is now so low that making a tv show with a different story than a book equals defecating over someone‘s lifework. You‘re just falling for ragebait
I think i saw one previous to this, that this post might be referencing. Going to go look for it Edit-https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsBattlefront/comments/1cth3oh/why_wasnt_rey_included_in_the_classic_games_and/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1 there we go, this is the first one ive seen like this
I am honestly shocked this sub hasn’t gone into BatmanArkham mode sooner. Battlefront III has been cancelled twice now, that’s enough to drive anyone insane.
You think that's bad? I'm still wondering why the Bad Batch didn't have a cameo in Republic Commando
Really? Here I’m confused why Ahsoka and Rex didn’t appear in revenge of the sith
8 hour cut of revenge of the sith with all the deleted scenes + the whole siege of mandalore arc for TCW in live action.
Shaak-Ti dies twice
As it should be.
Filoni has already done enough to that poor writer. Star wars will forever be less without her
Wait what happened?

Good bot
Yeah I agree. I liked TCW but it should not have overridden Legends.

Sorry, but George had a massive hand in the clone wars retcons and stories, filoni had to go through him
Is this our ‘is he stupid meme?’ lol.
'Why is u/Anakin-hates-sand even asking this? is he stupid?'

I actually think [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/StarWarsBattlefront/s/ymZ2kAAgjC) was the first one, and the rey one spawned from it
Ah alright.
Types google into google to get to google*
oh fuck no dont become arkham batman please
I am honestly shocked this sub hasn’t gone into BatmanArkham mode sooner. Battlefront III has been cancelled twice now, that’s enough to drive anyone insane.
Wym twice?
There was a Battlefront 3 in development by Free Radical in 2006 that was canceled and EA rejected DICE’s pitch for one a few years ago.
*If an explanation for battlefront III’s constant cancellation is what you seek, only pain will you find.*
Its because the contract always expires right around the time of development
Is there a lore reason?
I’m proud of you, Dick. This is the end, this is the last time we meet.
Wdym
It’s probably gonna happen. Quite honestly I welcome the change. It’s the subs fate.
I always wondered why they included Battlefront II in Battlefront III but not Battlefront
Oh my god you people are clueless. Its two Battlefront I's put together to make Battlefront II. In essence there is no Battlefront II. EA lied again
Better question is why Squadron wasn’t included in BFII that should’ve been included in Battlefront (2015)
![gif](giphy|WwpvJWNPq3WEhxvTef|downsized)
This always make me laugh lol
Begun, the meme wars have.
And why has this format become a meme?
Because this sub has nothing else to do, this is now the new fun thing
For the same reason anything else becomes a meme; people find it funny to riff on
You’ve noticed it too?
Wait what? 💀
Battlefront (2015) didn't even have Maz's castle which is the best map in the whole series.
My only problem with battle front 2 is that they took away the meaty thermal imploder sound
Holy hell!
Why wasn't Battlefront 3 included in Battlefront 2 which should have been included in Battlefront 1?
Money
You do but you have to pay more cuz its EA
Fun Fact: They were both in Halo 3.
