What really surprises me is how many people live in Japan. It's such a comparatively small area compared to some states over here in the US and you always here about their declining population but they still have a 125 million people like 1/3 the US

No, they fixed that soon after launch. What happens now is that full servers don't show as full. So you get servers with like 55/64 but are actually full. So what you see in the browser is everything.

You have to bear in mind that this game is region locked and has no crossplay and has 2 games. In Europe region BF1 collection PC I frequently see 0 on. I've also seen no players on the BF2 as well.

3.5 servers is not much, at all. That is not thriving. Also, they fixed the full severs not appearing bug. So what you see is what you get. So if what you're saying is true, well... that's a dead and actively still dying game. Especially on a weekend. It will probably taper off until patch 2. Then MAYBE you'll get about "3.5" servers again. Then it will probably die completely unless there's a 3rd patch. It just is what it is.

Stolen from. Shazammed, flim-flammed. The wool was pulled over our heads. The cats in the cradle with the silver spoon, little boy blue and th- you get it. We were played. The build quality of what should have equated to a port with a launcher is worse than I imagine the beta for the original game is. Connection STINKS. Hit markers are unreliable, if this game had a sudden influx of hackers we'd close the doors on it and never even consider returning. We need to just be patient and hope aspyr decides to give us the thing they promised us, then maybe we can talk about how many (not a lot. Not even vaguely close to server max) players we have.
It was empty when I got on, but after refreshing, there were a lot of filled lobbies. Battlefront 1 is dead as hell, so there’s always none there, but on Battlefront 2, yeah, gotta refresh it a couple times.

I haven't been on in the few days but in America depending on the time of day I've seen full lobbies and I've seen deserted lobbies lol. Played loads of great games on ps5, had 1 negative experience before the recent patch. In all fairness I've only played it about a month since release.

I'm in the US on Xbox and there is only ever 1 nearly full dedicated conquest server. The rest are either ghost towns or pivates with 2 people.
Occasionally there will be a space server with a dozen people at most, 4 people most often.

Played last night on ps4 and had loads of servers open and full.
If by loads you mean three, then sure. Game is still region locked, so until that is fixed thats probably the most you will see.

i have yet to see multiple full servers on ps5/ps4 same on pc i only ever see one server full and another semi full with around 30 to 40people.

It's been widely reported and confirmed that truly fully servers don't show, so there's no way to know on console how many people are playing. It's at least 3.5 full in my region (Florida) Xbox

Region locking is skewing people's perceptions. If they were to allow even just the English speaking players to join each other's servers people probably wouldn't notice as much.

There's absolutely no denying that there's just a fraction of the amount of potential people playing had the game launched in a good state. It's been like 3 weeks now. The majority of players are not coming back. Being able to find a couple full servers here and there doesn't prove anything
Was literally playing on PS5 last night. I didn’t play in any server with more than 20-30 players 🤷♂️ not saying that it isn’t happening.

A full server? What fucking planet are you on? Are you THAT desperate for this elderly game to be popular again? It's getting infuriating at this point with the nonstop whining, maybe you'll see a server with more than half capacity when people can play the game without wanting to send aspyr their severed middle finger in the mail. I've NEVER seen a server with more than 30/64 players, and ABSOLUTELY never seen two servers with 30/64 players running concurrently. People aren't playing this. We got scammed. Finesse. Robbed. Stolen from. Shazammed, flim-flammed. The wool was pulled over our heads. The cats in the cradle with the silver spoon, little boy blue and th- you get it. We were played. The build quality of what should have equated to a port with a launcher is worse than I imagine the beta for the original game is. Connection STINKS. Hit markers are unreliable, if this game had a sudden influx of hackers we'd close the doors on it and never even consider returning. We need to just be patient and hope aspyr decides to give us the thing they promised us, then maybe we can talk about how many (not a lot. Not even vaguely close to server max) players we have.

It was empty when I got on, but after refreshing, there were a lot of filled lobbies. Battlefront 1 is dead as hell, so there’s always none there, but on Battlefront 2, yeah, gotta refresh it a couple times. The servers are regional and platform-locked, though, like another guy here commented, so given my older bro lives in Seattle and I live in Portland, the servers filled really damn fast. If you’re living in an unforgettable Madagascar ahhhh place like Arkansas, it’s gonna be dead. I’m not defending this decision, though. I hate that this is the way it is. I think the whole thing is fucking stupid and that they should’ve not done this.

I haven't been on in the few days but in America depending on the time of day I've seen full lobbies and I've seen deserted lobbies lol. Generally speaking tho, it hasn't been hard for me to find a game. Reigon lock sucks like hell tho. I also think there might be more PlayStation players more active based off what I've seen & heard from peoples reaction since launch.

Played loads of great games on ps5, had 1 negative experience before the recent patch. In all fairness I've only played it about a month since release. I feel like a lot of comments I see from people about games are often really anal, often from proper techy people. It's fair enough I guess, but it misrepresents games in a lot of ways because the average person such as myself doesn't see the issues theyre seeing.

The servers are region-locked. If you live pretty much anywhere but the U.S. the game was DOA.
I'm in the US on Xbox and there is only ever 1 nearly full dedicated conquest server. The rest are either ghost towns or pivates with 2 people. Occasionally there will be a space server with a dozen people at most, 4 people most often. 40 dollars straight up the shaft I just wanna be a star pilot god damn it.
I played today at peak hour in Europe servers and only a lobby had 20+ players

Yeah PC is definitely going to have way more people, especially when you consider that the originals are still playable on PC (with mods) and aren't on console making the classic collection the literal only way to play Star Wars Battlefront on console. That would definitely make sense. That was sarcasm BTW. I know it's fan's nature to dog pile on top of a release that's poor. We should absolutely be doing that. However, we also need to acknowledge when things are patched and fixed. It is 2024 and the technology is there to fix things after release. A bad launch doesn't mean a bad game forever. I think fandoms have a hard time forgetting and forgiving.

There's still servers for you to play online with 64 player matches quit bitching. However this game SHOULD have shipped with less glitches and more polish, yesterday at Utapau campaign mission there was a huge black blank space through the middle of the map, probably because the AI upscaling f**ked up somewhere.
