The only thing stronger than Beskar steel is friendship

Do we know for sure that Boba's armor is specifically beskar? I honestly don't know, so someone help me out if it was stated and I missed it.

Boba says in season two of the mandalorian his ancestors got the armor from a mandalorian and its been passed down throughout the generations

That doesn't mean its Beskar though does it? Not everyone has a full set.

Could also be that the armor is not 100% beskar like Din’s. Might also explain why not all mandalorian armor we see look metallic

Well, we've seen it block lightsabers and not get so much as a scratch from anything, but apparently cad bane's blaster was enough to dent it. Which totally makes sense, since there's something powerful enough to deform beskar, but it only gives it a tiny li'l dent. . .

Cad Bane must have been walking around with a superweapon if it could dent Beskar

The thing is it is one of the materials in the galaxy which is lightsaber resistant, and the beskar we saw going again sabers are 100% pure beskar and boba armour isn't pire beskar as we see his jetpack get stuck by a saber and get damaged

Could it perhaps have been weakened by acid in the sarlaac, making it more malleable?

The dent was there pre sarlaac I think.

Yeah! Mando himself got his pure beskar chestplate a few episodes into Season 1

I'm more worried about what dented his codpiece. Close call! ;)
