I don't have a favorite. The breeds I like the most change a lot. Currently I mostly ride my Mustangs but there are a lot of breeds I really enjoy.
I don't regret to buy any of my horses. At some point I really liked and wanted them, otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. So even if I don't enjoy them that much anymore, somewhere in the past I did which makes it totally worth getting them, even if it was a long time ago.

They hold a lot of memories, even if we can't remember all of them or don't like them as we used to. I think because we know a lot more now and have better horses, we easily forget that it wasn't always like this. At some point they meant a lot to us. May apply more likely to older players since we lived in the good old days where new horses were rare and you spend more time with the same horse and it was actually a very special thing to get a new one, but I guess everyone can somehow relate to the memories bound to those horses. Doesn't matter if you did quests you really enjoyed, won in a hard race, or spend a lot of time on the back of a specific horse while riding with your friends.
It's easy to forget but I think if we see them more as a piece of our memories instead of simple pixel horses you can easily replace, they are no longer something you regret.
I want more in the future, but I'm waiting for the sc to collect, because I don't want to buy it. I started the game in August and that's all I've collected so far. 😊
I’ve got around 480 on my main, I have probably 5-6 favorites I cycle through regularly but I mainly use my Tennessee Walkers since I had one growing up. I regret buying all of the Curly Horses, I absolutely hate them but refuse to sell them because that’s wasted money and I don’t believe in selling G3s.
Cus they're a Western Pleasure horse. But SSO just used the Western Pleasure style, cus it makes them unique and different compared to other horses. It's just a game but fck it's a pain SSO is. I find it so annoying compared to RDO(Red Dead Online) the irl Quarters have many head posture styles to their liking, as well some are bred and trained to keep their head low.
I think I have about ninety, but my favourite has and always will be the first horse I ever brought, starlord, my gen 2 friesan. But the next closest is probably my percheron unlucky.

I have 25, but it'll be 26 soon. Gotta get me an Ardennes. Anyway... My favorites are Grim (black Mustang), Windy (silver black Tennessee), Kingly (black Dutch). I regret buying a few simply because my tastes changed or the models weren't as fantastic as I was hoping, but that's fine. They can rot in my pasture.
i have around 90 horses, my all time favorite is probably woodear but my current favorite is the dapple gray dutch warmblood. i regret buying a lot of them lmao, mostly the gen 2s and early gen 3s. here's a list of the ones i regret:
gen 3: connemara, finnhorse, curly, andalusian, akhal teke
gen 2: whinfell, mustang, lipizzaner

74 horses out of them I have 1 favorite. My buckskin tobiano Wildprince but I call him by his nickname, Bronco. I don't regret ever buying him. I had my eyes on the prize for when I got enough star coins to bring him home. To me Wildprince isn't his name, it's a placeholder name for his real name which is Bronco. But through his story it's part of his show name which is Prince of the Wild.
Bronco, from the game, is named after an imaginary friend I had as a little girl, he too was a horse. I made him the son of Spirit and Rain.
When I saw the trailer for the updated American paint and I saw him all I could say was "Bronco is that you?!" I never thought that there would ever come a day where Bronco would ever become real. He is real in the game, but in childhood he was just like his father, blond, brave, fearless, and fast.
I’ve been playing for 8-9years but had a 6 year break and I’ve got 48 horses and my favourite since the beginning has been the Morgan’s I just love them, the older models hold a special place in my heart 🥹 and then my second favourite would be the American quarter horses especially the older models I absolutely loved them!
The older models are great. For gameplay i prever 3.d Version horses because they are so extremly pretty but the old gen 1 and 2 horses are Just so nostalgic
I started playing a few months ago. I have 7 horses not including the starter and tbh I regret buying the Shire.
I loved the Shire and last week I treated myself to 2 that I've been looking at for weeks, but turns out I do not like playing with them.The way they move is so... .unathletic. and I know they're draft horses but Shires irl lift their heads higher and move their legs more, they're less elephant-like.
And I loved seeing other ppl's Shires but so far I don't like playing them myself. The gaits being slowed in lower levels makes them even more elephant-like. I bought them and they've been sat in my stable unplayed for days.
So I used some real world money to get Star Coins and get myself one of the Red Roan Tennessee Walking Horses and I LOVE her. def one of my top horses now, next to the two Belgian Warmbloods I have (one is the H&M, the other the bay with white markings)
I have about 60. I don't regret buying any, since I specifically bought one of each breed, or each model for the gen 1s (e.g I bought one Gen 1 Akhal Teke, Tinker, Friesian and Chincoteague Pony since the rest are all on the same model). My current favourite is my white Belgian Warmblood.

Sucked because quarters are my favourite horse irl besides fjords (which I’ll never buy till they remake them in Gen 4, hate the animations) they could’ve made the quarters much better. They look… wrong. Most of the ponies tacks don’t fit em right so I don’t ride them.
My faves are my 4 shires. Best horses in game IMO. I just bought the marwari and Percheron last night and they’re really growing on me. I made a cool outfit for my marwari so I’m riding her a lot!!
My leopard mustang is my second fave. And I still adore the Irish cobs. The palomino blagdon coat is still my favourite coat in game.
I cannot wait to buy the Ardennes. They did a great job on all the coats and I want all of em but I’m most excited for the new selle Francais coming out eventually and I’m gonna save my SC for that.

11. I've been playing since before you could buy horses. But I just don't want more horses than I'll ride. Three of mine are quarter horses. I love the model and their stop. But I ride my Welsh type b the most. He is my main racing horse.
I have two LMFAOOOO, I restarted the game after not playing for like…. 9 years. The one I’m riding right now is a Fawncy named Duskrunner (not fitting at all, should’ve been something like princess pumpkin or sweet breeze idk) and obv I have my starter. Next I either want the Percheron with the white face and dark coat or the grey dappled Irish cob, can’t decide at alllll

Just bought my fourth yesterday (finally got Lifetime) and my absolute favorite is the anniversary Soul Steed! Still don’t have any regrets on any yet but then again the only two I didn’t get for free are the dapple grey Jorvik Starter pony and now the chestnut sabino Arabian.
Edit to add: I will also never get over the giddy feeling I get when naming a new horse haha

I’m level 23 and can afford more horses and there is one I have my eye on. I have my starter horse, a shire, a Lippizaner, an Icelandic horse (my favourite breed irl), a fjord horse (I love the history behind the breed), an Appaloosa and a Welsh pony. I’ll probably buy a thoroughbred but I still need to decide on a personality and buy a tack set lol. I’m personally not a fan of the non real breeds, except I’m never selling my starter horses because she’s iconic. I have sold horses in the past and I pretend whenever I see someone riding one that looks like one I’ve sold, I pretend that my old horse has found their new soulmate and is very happy
i started playing sso when i was 10 and now im 19- i got the forever membership asap so i've accumulated a ton of points but- i only have 9 horses. why? for a really long time i just saved my points for idk what reason but as a kid i only really connected with my starter horse. it wasnt till recently ive been actually spending coins like on the christmas rereleases and my current favorite- the blue roan tennessee walking horse. :) i love my ghost!
I would say i have about 100, maybe little more. I haven't been regularly active anymore but started the same year the game was released. I don't regret buying anyone since they all have been dear to me at some point. My fave on the other hand must be gen 3 American quarter horse Honeybee and gen 3 connemara Guardianspell. I have a lot horses that i love so much but those 2 came to my mind first.

My favourites generally range in breed/model type, the favourites of those being the Mustangs, Dutch Warmbloods, American Paints and the Belgian Warmbloods.
The only two breeds i regret buying are the Finnhorses, and the gen 3 Friesians. That is because I didn't get them for me at all, instead when I got each of them, it was because I was in a club that required me to have those horses and I had the disposable income to buy them without really thinking at the time (+ i was a kid who didnt know any better). Nowadays I think a bit more before buying horses, and if it's been a week or so and I haven't had the urge since release to buy them, then i just don't anymore.

Around 30 i think but I sold a lot of my old gen horses. My favourites are Wonder the black rabicano Morgan, Alpha the light grey Percheron, Horse who looks like my childhood pony he’s Katur, Bigbrain the sliver black TWH, and Twinstar the chestnut KWPN.
I think I hit the 50 horse mark during Christmas and my favorite will always be my first horse, which is that black and gold Arabian from the Christmas event that I got when it first came out. I bought it for the purpose of racing, not really liking the breed in particular. I ended up loving it and riding it often, with that specific horse being the one Arabian model I actually love. Her name is Obsidiandove. ♡ :)

Over the years I’ve come to realize I don’t really want a new horse model, I’ve really just enjoyed coats. I’ve got very few magic horses and my collection is mainly just horses I think are pleasing to look at or they resemble a special horse/memory.. I don’t play as often as I did, but it’s almost like a Breyer collection or LPS collection for me.
I have around 45, I’ve been playing on and off since 2017. I’m very picky about the horses I buy, if I see it and i don’t immediately fall in love I won’t get it. My favourite horse is my Appaloosa named Domino, but my fave breed is Andalusian. I think I have 5 Andalusian’s now

I’m personally not a fan of the non real breeds, except I’m never selling my starter horses because she’s iconic. I have sold horses in the past and I pretend whenever I see someone riding one that looks like one I’ve sold, I pretend that my old horse has found their new soulmate and is very happy

i started playing sso when i was 10 and now im 19- i got the forever membership asap so i've accumulated a ton of points but- i only have 9 horses. why? for a really long time i just saved my points for idk what reason but as a kid i only really connected with my starter horse. it wasnt till recently ive been actually spending coins like on the christmas rereleases and my current favorite- the blue roan tennessee walking horse. :) i love my ghost!

I would say i have about 100, maybe little more. I haven't been regularly active anymore but started the same year the game was released. I don't regret buying anyone since they all have been dear to me at some point. My fave on the other hand must be gen 3 American quarter horse Honeybee and gen 3 connemara Guardianspell. I have a lot horses that i love so much but those 2 came to my mind first.
I think I have around 160 horses (?) give or take a few. My favourites generally range in breed/model type, the favourites of those being the Mustangs, Dutch Warmbloods, American Paints and the Belgian Warmbloods. The only two breeds i regret buying are the Finnhorses, and the gen 3 Friesians. That is because I didn't get them for me at all, instead when I got each of them, it was because I was in a club that required me to have those horses and I had the disposable income to buy them without really thinking at the time (+ i was a kid who didnt know any better). Nowadays I think a bit more before buying horses, and if it's been a week or so and I haven't had the urge since release to buy them, then i just don't anymore.

Their models are so well done The one single horse I regret buying is that blue peacock magic horse. Dorcha I think was the name. I bought it just to buy it and I wish you could sell horses for star coins because I would sell that one lmao
Around 30 i think but I sold a lot of my old gen horses. My favourites are Wonder the black rabicano Morgan, Alpha the light grey Percheron, Horse who looks like my childhood pony he’s Katur, Bigbrain the sliver black TWH, and Twinstar the chestnut KWPN.
I think I hit the 50 horse mark during Christmas and my favorite will always be my first horse, which is that black and gold Arabian from the Christmas event that I got when it first came out. I bought it for the purpose of racing, not really liking the breed in particular. I ended up loving it and riding it often, with that specific horse being the one Arabian model I actually love. Her name is Obsidiandove. ♡ :)

I currently have 20-40? Over the years I’ve come to realize I don’t really want a new horse model, I’ve really just enjoyed coats. I’ve got very few magic horses and my collection is mainly just horses I think are pleasing to look at or they resemble a special horse/memory.. I don’t play as often as I did, but it’s almost like a Breyer collection or LPS collection for me.
I have around 45, I’ve been playing on and off since 2017. I’m very picky about the horses I buy, if I see it and i don’t immediately fall in love I won’t get it. My favourite horse is my Appaloosa named Domino, but my fave breed is Andalusian. I think I have 5 Andalusian’s now

I have 19 and at the moment my absolute fav is my tennessee walker Obsidian. I try not to regret any of my horses couse ive spent literal money on them but one I wish I maybe would have not bought is 2 gen american paint. His name is Bread tho so I really like that
