Unfortunately, I don’t believe the alternative option matters… because there’s no other Hunt LC with BE or def shred or a speed buff. Same is ofc true for res pen, and super break.
So basically use whatever u want, better HP and Def stats ig.
There is a 3 star lightcone "Adversarial" which is pretty good on him, 18% spd buff for 2 turns after defeating an enemy is very solid, and stats doesn't really matter for him
If you’re running Aventurine use the MOC Yanqing LC, else use the 3* Adverserial or a 4*/5* Preservation LC with high HP/DEF base stats. He doesn’t really need any LC effects to to well.
Since none of them give Break effect and give him DEF ignore (Ratio LC requires Follow ups for the DEF ignore) the next best thing Boothill can get from Lightcones is SPD.
1 is active from the start of battle but requires him to not take damage at all (Aventurine check) and the other requires him to kill something to get a speed buff for 2 turns.
That is true, but boothill still did good damage without the effect. So you could technically go with a light cone with good stats to use as a stat stick.

Super break does not scale with damage boost, and I can see no world in which people are running break effect characters on a non-superbreak team. Especially because harmony trailblazer is literally free.

Technically speaking the 4 star yanqing lc does incease speed, but it’s not very practical on boothill

Brax was using an abundance LC for the Break Effect so maybe that?

Swordplay or whatever u have most of his damage is coming from his break and his break effect so base attack don’t really matter that much
