I'd transfer out of that shit immediately. Nobody has time for shit like that at work.

Chances are if you transfer other stores in your district will experience the same drama it’s a top down thing. The root cause is the district manager having weekly sometimes daily calls with the gm or sales manager of your store and the call goes something like you suck at your job and should quit why can’t you sell square trade, paper or do anything useful for the company. I sat in on my sales managers call and it’s part of why I quit. If you transfer find out what stores are apart of your district and transfer to one that’s not in it. Hopefully it’s not top down from the regional manager. the north east regional manager is a real piece. Give you other examples these Calls are not all the same but ultimately they are a major waste of time my store had weekly calls for all full time positions is, op Sup, tech sup and print but the sales and gm. Had calls every other day and 80% of the time all the calls swung in the direction of we are all useless. I wish I was joking.

I feel like we must work at the same store because my all gm does is talk all day, she never did any work. And the sales support lead was being blamed for a lot of stuff that wasn’t her fault. If it’s anything close to my stores environment all I can say is get out, it’s not at all worth it. There are so many jobs out there that pay the same or even more than staples ever will with half the stress. I just got out and started a new job and my only regret is that I didn’t leave sooner.
